Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing 2 pairs of garbage boots. If I return to China, and then get 80% of the price refunded, I end up with nothing. I asked if I could ship back to the warehouse address on my package, but haven't heard back. I guess that's their marketing strategy. I'd give it -5 stars if that was possible.

Very very cheapplastic shoes. There was absolutely no support at all. I would not even put these on my dogs feet. Then to return for refund .. have to return to China.
Well that costs as much as the shoes. They didnt even shep them in a shoe box. Just smashed in a bag.

Ortho Eva is a scam. Tracking shows the boots I ordered are in the post office flower mound, tx, 56.1 miles from their delivery destination. They show to have been there for 13 days as of this writing, and the company says they will not refund the money while they are ‘in transit’. Really? They were obviously lost ‘in transit’ and will never be delivered. The joke is on me! I wonder if they were ever shipped but at this point I don’t even care! One star is one too many.

Like another reviewer, I made an impulsive purchase based on photos of these ankle-high boots. I will say that when they arrived, I loved the color and I loved how my feet felt in the boots. However, they're very cheaply made. The material is very thin, the zippers did not glide smoothly at all, and one of the zippers broke as I was putting them on, before I even had a chance to wear them. I did spray them with a silicone lubricant, which helped some, and there are zippers on each side of the boot, so I would just need to remember not to zip that one side either up or down, but what a disappointment. The biggest disappointment, however, was no response from customer service when I emailed 5 days ago, explaining the broken zipper, and asking for a refund. The next thing I'll try is requesting that they send me a new pair, but these boots are not worth the price paid for them.

1. Shoes were poor quality, thin soled, absolutely nothing supportive about them.
2. Company does NOT indicate that returns must be paid for by customer, and that returns must be shipped to CHINA.
Don't ever order anything from Facebook or Instagram ads! Lesson learned.

Upon inquiring about a return and being told that I had to return them to China here is my response:

The fact that you do not have a USA address for customers to return/exchange shoes for a legitimate reason is absolutely ludicrous.  Cheapest postage is half their cost but I'm sure you know that.

Your target audience are seniors on fixed incomes.  I guess you really needed my $59.95.

The smell of the plastic almost knocked me over when I opened your package.  The shoes are poor quality and uncomfortable.

Shame on you.

I wished I had come to this site before. Cheap materials, no support at all, no cushioning at all, zippers didn’t function right AND they wanted me to pay for return to China.

I agree with others who have made the same mistake by buying these boots. They run very small, the information on the wide toe box is a joke and returning to China is not particle!
DO NOT BUY these boots.

The boots I ordered were much too small. As others have said, while the company has a return policy, it requires return shipping at customer expense to China within 14 days of receipt of item. The return shipping costs make return s cost prohibitive. Perhaps that is their marketing strategy.

I’d give zero stars if possible. There is nothing orthotic about these “shoes”. The website doesn’t exist although I continue to get emails from them. The “orthotic shoes” I purchased for $60 (sale price) are absolutely worthless. Made of cheap thin plastic and zippers that don’t work. The insert is as thin as the shoe themselves- no finished edges and the fit? I couldn’t get my foot in the shoe unless my toes were amputated. Narrow and 3/4” shorter than all my other shoes. The oddest part of all was when I placed the order they used an address I lived at 5 years ago as the shipping address (in Alaska). I NEVER GAVE THIS ADDRESS nor had I even heard of this company. TOTAL SCAM!@

Utter garbage. These are, without exaggeration, the worst quality shoes I've ever seen. The "leather" (thin plastic) on the upper wasn't even glued down smoothly to what appears to be a cardboard mold, so the top of the shoe is rippled and warped. Zero support in the sole, not that I'd wear these anywhere. We'll see if they'll even refund me because their website states that "sale items are final and can't be refunded" but as far as I can tell all items are always marked as being "on sale". DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

As so many others have said, I wish I'd checked this site before spending a dime on these Ortho Eva boots. I got the largest size they make and they're still at least two sizes too small. It will cost me nearly two-thirds what I paid in the first place to return the damned things to China (!!!) and there's no guarantee I'll see any kind of refund because they have to be returned within 14 days of delivery to me. They arrived yesterday; even if I get them sent out tomorrow, it's unlikely they'll arrive back in China in time to satisfy the company's ridiculous requirements. I'm going to chalk this one up to live-and-learn and donate them unworn.

Sham of a company. Cheap boots sent in a flimsy bag (not a box). Zippers are shoddy. No support. Color doesn't match. I asked to return and was given an address in China. My worst ever online shopping experience.

These boots are nothing close to orthopedic. I didn't even try them on as they smell so bad. Not leather as advertised and poor quality materials. I really got scammed. They never gave me an order number which they require for returns and the return address is in China for which I would have to pay to return.
Not worth the hassle, so will eat the cost.

The Melinda short boots that I purchased from Ortho Eva are completely unwearable. They are lightweight, shoddy, very ill fitting, and were poorly constructed. The leather, which they claim to be the material used, is so flimsy it is hard to believe it is not a cheap looking man made material. At the top edge of the boot there is a weird ruffling effect that does not appear in their photos of the boot on their site. I discovered their ad on Facebook and they suggested an easy return policy which is definitely not the case. The purchaser must pay to mail back the boots to China and arrange all aspects of shipping a package overseas to Asia. I’m sure they are counting on this all being too cumbersome for most customers to bother trying to return their purchase, as it was for me, and will just ultimately dispose of this extremely inferior product.

Free shipping until you have to return to China? This is a joke scam shoe. How old do I have to be before I stop falling for ads like these? Returning shoes to China? I know it’s gonna be cheaper just to throw them in the garbage and there’s $60 gone. I’m so irritated and kicking myself. I’ve just downloaded trust pilots app and I swear I’m gonna check every time before I buy.

Instead of cheap vinyl, maybe use cloth. Maybe just be truthful. That would be a good start. How can y'all sleep at night, knowing you have tricked people that are pain

I wish I'd consulted this site before I impulsively bought these boots. As others have said, the materials are cheap, smelly garbage, there is nothing remotely orthotic or supportive about it, and the sizing is too small. The company is based in China and if you want to return the product you have to pay shipping. HUGE FAIL

Finally received my order of the OrthoEva ankle boots today. Imagine my disappointment when I opened the pack to find 2 pair of the cheapest looking boots I have ever seen. Nothing like the pictures on your website. The faux leather is so thin you could probably poke a hole through it with a pencil. The material has a horrible chemical smell to it and the boots are not even the size that I ordered! I will never purchase shoes from your company again and will definitely share my thoughts online!

Shoes are really cheaply made. All the materials seem to be synthetic and lightweight. These boots felt like lightweight slippers and didn't offer any support. Zippers did not work.
