Was categorically and explicitly offered a fixed fee by Mr Ahmad for a very specific task (1 letter). Smart enough to get it agreed in writing.

Decided to proceed on that basis and in my instruction email, clarified I wish to proceed on the agreed basis and that if that was not possible, I did NOT wish to proceed.

Hounded for up-front payment, ID, proof of address and completion of many forms. Went to much trouble to do everything asked asap. Also spent several days preparing the background case file. All done while suffering the symptoms of a life-threatening condition.

Once they had my money: radio silence. The matter was time-sensitive so after a week I chased up. Was then told no work would be done unless I signed another form agreeing that I had been told a fixed fee could not be provided and I was signing up to a £250 per hour rate. AFTER I’d paid for a fixed fee job!

Stood my ground, refused to sign as I paid a fixed rate after we agreed a fixed rate in writing. They evidently went back and reviewed the emails and realised they were going to have a hard time scamming me so quickly agreed a refund.

Think carefully before you get into bed with the devil.

Unable to get beyond the awful experience of the so-called receptionist. Argumentative, abrupt, rude with an inability to listen to clients (prospective or otherwise) whilst multi-tasking and evidently experiencing client calls as an interruption to her day … If this as the first contact experience is anything to go by then perhaps worth avoiding ….

We were told our sponsorship license was straight forward following several emails Ms Yee Han does not follow through what she says on the phone. Service has been slow and complicated throughout. Seems this firm is taking on case loads that they can no longer handle.. stay clear.
