Deskmat Dryrot
Key caps and deskmats were really great. Unfortunately I preordered one of their earliest sets. the sakura one. the deskmat has dry rotted. the other tsukimi set i have is fine.
unfortunately I don't have any recourse of action so i'm leaving a review where I can. I sent them an email with some photos. I had stored the mat for a few months.
"Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear about the issue with your deskmat. From the photos, it appears that the material deteriorated over time, possibly due to exposure to moisture or being stored in a damp environment. Unfortunately, it's difficult for us to determine the exact cause.
That said, given the length of time that has passed since the original purchase, we're unfortunately unable to offer a replacement, store credit, or warranty coverage for the item. We apologize that we're unable to provide a better resolution in this case, and we appreciate your understanding."
I feel like a store credit wouldn't have killed them. I take care of my stuff. I live in a dryer climate. I don't think they'd be able to determine how something got ruined anyway. I think I got a bad product.
