Used to be good at first

in the recent months, they are starting to get worse, making me lose trust to rely on another site instead, items have been getting sent back to their warehouses, and here i am just waiting months to hear an update about the delayed delivery of my figures just to hear that they are been sent back

Absolutely unacceptable!

Sent me an item with a broken box. Shipper was not broken at all, meaning they knowingly sent an item with a broken box to me. Will not exchange it, offered store credit. Don't buy from them if you care about the boxes of your figures.

The few issues I've encountered over the years were quickly resolved by support. The support staff don't bother with too many pleasantries and we've never had difficultly communicating whereas I've had trouble with language barriers on other retailers.

They package items extremely well. Some may find the amount of padding they use wasteful but I personally prefer that my $150+ order has ample protection. At the time of this review, I've received 10 shipments with no damaged goods.

You're bound to find cheaper prices elsewhere but Tokyo Otaku Mode does not sell bootlegs, and more importantly, tell you what shipping will cost at the time of (pre-)order. This is nice because shipping invoices from Japanese retailers months after you placed your order can be a very unpleasant surprise.

They also run a lot of coupons which help sweeten the deal.

I like this company and I have purchased a few things there over time. The prices can be high, and so can the shipping, but if you wait for a good sale or code then it's pretty decent. It's a good place to find collectables and some fashion.

Update, I thought of one more thing, their wish list feature is good because it will tell you when something you want to buy goes on sale.

Good shop and have ordered from them multiple times, never order around Christmas though! Literally took 2 weeks just to leave japan and then another 6 to reach me in the UK. Obviously I'm aware SAL is slow but I've been collecting for years and had six other nendoroids ordered the same week and they all arrived promptly in 2-4 weeks and were dispatched in days, not two weeks like TOMs. Oh well, at least I got my order! Oh and expect a custom fee if you’re in a country like the UK. TOM doesn’t undervalue.

Awesome customer service! I like the promptness of return emails and not generic reply's but actual communication! Anne is quick to solve any problems and make sure that the customer is taken care of.

I have ordered from them many times. Every time they don't disappoint me. I would recommend this site if you like animated themes and such.
