Fantastic!!!

I have found Ovusense a great product…

I have found Ovusense a great product and the customer service has been fantastic. I have used Ovusense previously and fell pregnant after a few months. We have used it again recently and fell pregnant after a few months, unfortunately lost this baby but will use it again moving forward. The team have been really supportive and always happy to answer any queries.

Love the product

Love the product! Used it and fell pregnant in the first month of using. Sadly we lost that one but used it again to really understand my cycles much better. The support from customer service is brilliant. I spoke to Kate S who was so helpful and friendly, and knowledgeable. Couldn’t fault it overall.

Grateful for the data and support!

I've had a very positive experience with Ovusense so far. I'm on cycle 3, the first was only half a cycle, the second was informative to use alongside of LH clear blue tests, and the third was tricky probably because I was taking letrozole. The support has been there and has even helped me identify a window of ovulation before it passed, which I'm really grateful for. Overall I feel satisfied with my purchase and will continue to use Ovusense alongside my other apps and test strips. The customer support has been consistently responsive and I'm grateful to have this team on our side.

I would give 10 stars if I could!

I spoke with Kate S in Customer Support who couldn’t have been more helpful - she was a pleasure to speak with. I had explained the issues I’d had with other fertility monitors and tests I used in the past and she took the time to explain how OvuSense was different and how it could help me to conceive.

I have PCOS so I used the OvuCore Sensor and in the first two cycles it helped me to understand that I was ovulating a lot later than I thought (Cycle day 20), so my husband and I were trying at the wrong time.

Low and behold I conceived on my 3rd cycle after previously trying to conceive for 4 years.

My advice would be don’t waste any money on ovulation strips or urine test kits! So glad I made the investment.

Keep a distance from Ovusense.!!! Waste of money. On their advertisement they promise, stressing on " live 24 advance ovulation prediction". But in reality, all the system does is giving you prediction of fertile window, not more. And thats what you get free of charge from many good fertility Apps. Another thing, they hide the real price. The package-price doesn't include any extra fees. It also states very clearly ONE TIME PAYMENT. on the front page. While the information about extra, regular  fees is hiding in Terms and Conditions. They state they send  information  in email with order-confirmation, but they don't. So the whole system is a money-making system.
P.S. They wrote like an A4sheet-long answer on my review, with a very detailed process description. But it all doesn't change the point. As the customer, I don't care what the reason is. I bought their product BECAUSE I TRUSTED what their advertisement promised. And for the price that was clearly visible. So I don't care, why it's not possible to give what they promised. That's their problem, not mine

It may help if I go on to explain how OvuSense predicts ovulation, which will hopefully clear up any confusion.

Your fertile window refers to the most fertile days in your menstrual cycle which give you the highest chance of conceiving. Using your unique temperature information, OvuSense identifies an 8-day fertile window based on when you are predicted to ovulate. This window is the eight days when you are most likely to be able to conceive, from five days before ovulation until two days after ovulation to include an additional buffer. As you continue to track, you will notice a yellow-shaded predicted fertile window appears when you begin a new cycle. This prediction is based on your previous cycle data, creating a projected prediction for ovulation.

Depending on the pattern of your current Core Body Temperatures, you may see your predicted yellow fertile window replaced with a green predicted ovulation window. This window is calculated in real-time and will appear if OvuSense identifies two or three days where the temperature has risen in a particular pattern. The ovulation window starts one day before ovulation and continues until two days after ovulation. At the same time, it will tell you that your expected ovulation date is 'tomorrow' or 'today', or it may just say that 'you are now in your ovulation window'. OvuSense checks whether the rise is sustained and then confirms the date on which you ovulated. This happens 3-5 days after ovulation occurs.
As your cycle progresses, OvuSense will continue to update this information. As a result, OvuSense may move the ovulation window. Or it may decide that the rise no longer looks like ovulation at which point it will state 'ovulation not confirmed' and the green ovulation window will disappear. If this happens, don't worry, just keep using OvuSense as ovulation may be confirmed later in the cycle.

Whilst OvuSense can provide a 24-hour advance ovulation window, this all depends on your temperature pattern. OvuSense can only calculate based on the data collected and therefore, we can’t promise that everyone will receive a 24-hour advance. If you are ever in any doubt, we always welcome our Users to contact Customer Support who are happy to review your chart at any time.

Regarding your order, I can see that you purchased the OvuCore™ Fertility Monitor - Starter Pack including the One-Time Subscription. Please accept my apologies if there has been any confusion. As my colleague has previously explained, the One-Time term refers to the Subscription element of the order only and not the physical sensor itself. The OvuSense sensors come with a 12-month inbuilt battery and need to be replaced annually for a discounted fee. We try to make this clear to customers prior to purchase via the website, by displaying the following message on the product page “* Sensors can be used for 12 consecutive months. Replacement sensor can be purchased at cost price.” And again, in the Terms and Conditions which you will have been required to read and confirm that you agree to at the time of sale.

As you have the One-Time Subscription, you will continue to have a lifetime’s access to the OvuSense app. If you decide to return to tracking with OvuSense, please reach out to Customer Support who will be happy to send you the renewal link to purchase a discounted sensor.

False hope.

I used OvuSense religiously for 10 months. It “detected ovulation” 3 times, but each time this had to be removed as a false confirmation following no period or any signs of activity.
It took ages to download data every morning - often over 5 minutes.

I have PCOS and having 3 false confirmations just isn’t acceptable.
It’s expensive, demoralising and just a waste of time and money.
I honestly couldn’t recommend it any less.

I have checked your account and can see that you have indeed received three false confirmations. On each occasion it was determined that fluctuations in Core Body temperature had falsely triggered an ovulation confirmation. Please note that OvuSense can only calculate based on the data collected.

It may help to know that OvuSense is specifically looking for a sustained rise in your average Core Body temperature to indicate successful ovulation. In general, an increase of at least 0.3 degrees Celsius over three days indicates ovulation, although your pattern may vary.

Whilst OvuSense is clinically proven to detect ovulation in 99% of cycles where an ovulation happens, and with a proven accuracy of 99%, there is a small margin for error. No cycle monitor can provide 100% accuracy. For example, if your Core Body temperatures fluctuate this can falsely trigger the OvuSense algorithm to issue an ovulation confirmation. Fluctuations can be caused by fever, illness, medication, or hormone imbalances. In the event of a fever/illness that lasts 2 days or longer, we recommend that you stop tracking and resume once all symptoms have ceased. If you are ever in doubt, we always encourage our Users to contact the Customer Support Team who are happy to advise and review your /charts at any time.

Looking at your previous correspondence, I can see that you have claimed under The OvuSense 90 Day Money Back Guarantee in April 2024. This guarantee protects customers who use their OvuSense for 90 consecutive days and do not ovulate/receive a confirmation within this timeframe. At the time of the claim, my colleague explained how the fluctuations in the overall temperature pattern had triggered a false confirmation and amended the cycle to remove this. We were pleased that you had decided to renew your subscription shortly after receiving your refund and resume tracking with OvuSense.

I wont say that I like or dislike…

I wont say that I like or dislike simply because I'm still new and using the device. I have pcos and that is the #1 reason why I bought it, to see if I am actually ovulating. I do have periods though they are irregular so im hoping this catches my ovulation, or at the very least let's me know I'm not ovulating. Then I can take steps to work on that. Like I said before I'm still new, and still getting the hang of the sensor.

I got it towards the end of my cycle, so I was only able to record the ending temperatures. However, I am now recording my first full cycle, so im waiting to see how it goes. When I first purchased the sensor I did so on the monthly basis, which is 39 a month. I was also upset because as soon as I purchased it, a note came up saying that if you have any samsung ultra or pluses that the device will not sync to it. I was so highly upset because that is actually what I have, a note ultra. There definitely needs to be a display at the very beginning of the site about what phones can or can't connect, you shouldn'thave to read through the FAQ just to find out. Of course you definitely should, but some people don't.

Now moving forward once I got the actual sensor, I was happily surprised that I actually could connect the device to my phone. I have the NFC feature, so im honestly not sure why it cant't or won't connect to some. However, it did to mines so im happy about that. Now when it comes to downloading the data yes it can take awhile. I've noticed that if I have my phone case on it can take up to 20 minutes to download. If I take my case off it can take between 5-10 minutes to download. So every morning I just have to take the case off to download. Which in my case is a minor inconvenience, compared to not being able to connect my sensor at all. So honestly I'm happy either way.

Again I'm still new to the device and learning the features, so this is just my review so far. Once I get atleast 5 or 6 cycles (or until I get pregnant) I will update my review and star usage on how I actually feel about this sensor. I'm still too new to go any further as I dont know what my cycles are like completely. Until then, later ladies and baby dust to us who are ttc ✨️💜✨️💜

I am sorry to hear that you were upset after placing your order. Rest assured that this is not the experience we want for our customers. We do try our best to inform customers of incompatible phone models via the FAQs and again via a pop-up message after purchasing. The pop-up message does give customers the option to contact our Customer Support Team should they need to cancel their order or have any queries. As I am sure you can understand, there are so many different phone models and makes on the market, it is impossible to list all of these on the basket/webstore page. That being said, I completely understand your concerns and will of course pass on your comments to the Team.

Whilst the OvuSense sensors can connect with the Samsung Ultra models, it can be extremely difficult. With larger handsets, we find that it is harder for Users to locate the inbuilt NFC antenna and find the optimal connection spot when attempting to connect to the sensor. As a result, we have taken into consideration customer feedback and have listed the Samsung Ultra Series as incompatible. I am so pleased that you have been able to connect to your handset! I hope this helps to explain why it may sometimes take longer than expected to download your data. If you have access to another phone, you may find that a different model is easier to download to.

Doesn’t work for pcos

I used this for 5 cycles it only detected 1 cycle at the beginning despite me wearing it every day. One cycle it detected an ovulation a day before my period which was clearly wrong. I found the device really hard to use each morning it would take 5 minutes to download the data the instructions made it sound like it should have been instant.
I can imagine for a lot of women the device would be helpful, but unfortunately it wasn’t for me.

Convenient for recording BBT but not much else.

I’m on my fourth cycle of using OvuCore although my first cycle was only about half the month because of when it arrived so on my third full cycle.
My first sensor broke after about 2.5 months and after a tedious customer service process I was sent a replacement.
The app has ‘confirmed’ ovulation on a day that is 2-3 days before my actual ovulation date every month so far and the predicted ovulation window has never been anywhere close yet. It’s useful for recording my BBT because my sleep is too disrupted for conventional methods but I can’t use it in isolation as an ovulation predictor or tracker because of how inaccurate it is.
I also have no idea how to access half of the services I’ve paid for with my subscription because I can’t find them anywhere on the app and there’s no online version of the member section.

Cannot recommend this product highly enough!

After well over 8 years of struggles to conceive (I have Prolactinoma, PCOS and MTHFR) and the NHS giving up on me, the ultimatum that IVF was my only hope of becoming a mother. During my despair I found this amazing device which helped me figure out what was going on with my cycles, told me so much about my fertility, despite my challenges.

A chat with the Ovusense nurse, and a nutritionist later, I made some positive changes to my lifestyle, added the right supplements and because of Ovusense I knew exactly when I was going to ovulate. 3 months later *bam* pregnant. My first ever positive test, my son born 9 months later. Then 2 1/2 years later, added a daughter within 2 months of starting to try again.

Any issues I ever had were dealt with quickly and sensitively by the customer services team and or the Admin on the Facebook groups. The support I’ve received overall is incredible. My connectivity issues were with my phone and not actually the device. Once they were sorted, it was easy.

Thank you Ovusense Team, you helped me turn it all around, saved me from IVF and helped me fulfil my dream to become a Mum.

Terrible Service

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months but have been unable. I have been charged £60 for a service I didn't use! The customer service is awful.

The product is great but the cost associated with trying to stop the subscription is unreal!

Device doesn’t connect easily, no support

Bought an OvuSense wearable bbt thermometer and it didn’t work. Wore it for days and no temp data went to my app. Managed to get a replacement sent, still the same issue. They don’t give refunds because it’s a “medical device”. It’s a bit of a con. To be honest, even if it worked- you have to take your phone case off- tap for 10 seconds- and wait for data to load. I had hoped it would be as quick as AirPods connecting. This was so expensive for it not to work and I’m really disappointed

I have reviewed the support team correspondence and can see that you were successfully able to add your sensor to your account but a replacement sensor was sent as a gesture of goodwill and in accordance with our terms and conditions. Unless you have a heavy duty phone case (such as Otterbox), there is no need to remove your phone case when you wish to download data for the day. Oftentimes, the issue is with Sensor placement when downloading data, rather than a fault with the Sensor itself. I've been an os user since 2018 here we…

I've been an os user since 2018 here we are in 2023 it helped me determine and get the medical help I need to conceive it showed low progesterone and higher than normal estrogen levels

it does take some getting use too an to understand your patter of temps rather than the overall number.

I've got pregnant 3 times using it sadly 3 mcs however 2023 and I'm now 18 weeks pregnant with my 4th rainbow 🌈 it predicts your window it doesn't and can't tell you exactly when you ovualte but once you have an idea on the pattern cover more bd and bd till its confirmed I used it alongside opks its been a god send in helping me figure out and understand my body I'm a late ovulator cd28 don't let anyone tell you you can't get pregnant after cd21 it's rubbish every women is different my journey with ovusense is now over ( maybe go back to using it as a prevention post partum) but for now thank you ovusencr for the support and experience and knowledge to help me figure out what was wrong I'll be welcoming my baby in Oct 2023! After years of ttc and infertility

Not suitable for PCOS like they say

I waited a while to leave this review because I wanted to give this product a fair go.

I have PCOS and have irregular cycles, and I do not get a flashing smile to show estrogen rises using clearblue urine test. This seemed like a good alternative.

The product is easy to use and comfortable to wear, but the app hasn't got the most intuitive interface.

I used it for 4 months and it did not predict my ovulation accurately (when I had a positive LH test). In another case it told me I had ovulated a few days in the past (not useful when trying to plan intercourse around LH surges!) rather than predicting it after a 3 day consecutive temperature increase like is suggested.

The product added confusion to my fertility journey, and I desisted using it all together after 4 months of failing to detect or predict my cycle, even though it is marketed at women with PCOS.

I've checked your account and can see that there was some missing data in the lead up to ovulation, which unfortunately does affect your prediction message. In order for OvuSense to provide a prediction of ovulation, it must be used consistently every day from when your period has finished, right up until you receive confirmation of ovulation. If you are thinking about it, just buy it now!

I got pregnant on cycle#2 while taking Provera and Clomid. I couldn’t believe that I was ovulating on day 50 of my cycle (I have PCOS)!

I hope my review of my experience can give hope and help someone. Miracles exist. I am and stopped birth control pills in September.

I had fake LH peaks with test strips and digital smiley face ovulation predictor earlier on in my cycle. So if I had believed them and had been using only them, I wouldn’t be pregnant now! I am so grateful for my OvuSense. Take it from me, buying OvuSense is the best thing you can do for your TTC journey!
