This is a really sturdy lock and so simple to use. Great company to deal with too. I feel a lot safer knowing that my patio doors are now secure.

I have found the Patlock device to be very well designed, high quality manufacture, easy and practical to use. I have fitted the tamper proof spindles supplied with the Patlock to prevent the handles being removed from the outside and the regular spindles being pushed through. Whilst nothing will stop a really determined burglar, I am very confident the Patlock with the tamper proof spindles fitted will greatly help in slowing access through the doors and likely deter an opportunist thief from attempting to break in altogether.

Fantastic looking piece but unfortunately I had only one handle on the patio doors. Looking forward to Padlock developing something for a single handle door. Big shout to Steve Robinson who knows his customer service.

As a window fitter for 43 years.i cant understand what purpose this lock is for.a intruder will just break the toughend safty glass.wich is fitted to all doors.with a dot punch the glass shaters into small pieces like a car window screen.the best sercurity would be laminated glass.sorry but its dear and serves no purpose

First class after-sales service

I came across the patlock device after searching the internet for hours & researching the best product for me. To give you a bit of background I have just moved in to a new build house on a brand new estate. It sounds great doesn't it. However, with a new house on a new estate comes with its downsides, one of which is a lot of brand new goods that are a target for burglars. After living there for about 2 weeks several attempts were made in the area & ring camera footage was all over facebook & extra police patrols were made. But that doesn't really help my personal security. After contacting Patlock & them responding to my questions within the hour I bought a patlock for my french doors. It was dispatched the same day & I received it within 24 hours. It is simple to fit & I couldn't be more happier. I do not know if it is really 100% secure but I do know it is as good or better than nearly every product out there & I do know it will take the thief a hell of a lot longer to break in to my house & it would make a hell of a lot of noise trying to break in to my house. So, in that case any thief would be better off going elsewhere unless they really are stupid & I guess professional thieves know what is a good target & what they should avoid. I can sleep now.

I purchased a patlock a few months ago as I live alone and wanted to ensure my patio doors are secure. Have so far been very happy with the product but I noticed recently that the inner tube was missing on one side. I contacted patlock, was open about the fact it had been a few months since I purchased and wasn't sure if the insert was somehow lost or if it was always missing.
They responded quickly, were very helpful and kindly offered to send me a replacement insert. Other companies could learn from this kind of service.
Although the efficacy of the lock has thankfully not needed to be tested so far, it gives me peace of mind and I would recommend the lock and the company.

Couldn’t be more thankful for having a patlock after an attempted break in at our new home, so glad this provided a piece of mind. Looks smart on our doors and serves a purpose! Would reccomend!!

What rubbish.. who invented this useless device?
I can snap the handles outside with grips and the screws no longer hold the inner and outer handles together and push it all in and snap the barrel. I challenge patlock to let me get through any French doors they choose !

Great product, easy to fit and give you instant piece of mind when your away from home. I lost one of the spindle clips inside the door when fitting the spindles, emailed them and they replied within the hour and offered to send me a replacement clip. Great service and and great product.

Can’t recommend this product enough, it’s a very visible deterrent and so simple to use. It’s ready to use out the box, I’ve got two now for both sets of French doors, whenever i visit somebody with French doors and just see the usual two handles without a padlock I always think how insecure they look.

We bought a Patlock for additional peace of mind after an increase in break-ins in our area. In terms of the product itself, we thought that it was well made and easy to fit and remove. We haven't experienced any negative issues so far. It also came with tamper-proof door handle spindles to replace existing ones. This is a security issue we weren't previously aware of, so we fitted these as well.
I should mention that despite immediate dispatch from the company, the item then got delayed by the local courier. The company looked into this for us immediately and when they weren't satisfied with the response from the courier, sent us a replacement via Royal Mail, which we received the next day. We can't fault their customer service, and would happily recommend this company and product to others.

The second time I tried to unlock patlock it jammed. The video online gave the impression that this was easy to resolve. It certainly was not and it was very difficult. The instruction leaflet that came with it had no information on how to deal with a jammed lock.
If you think you might need to use conservatory as an dmergency exit then avoid this product at all cost.

After having a disturbing dining room door lock snapping event one night by a would be burglar, foiled by alarm door contacts, we ordered this great product from Amazon which came the same day (in the evening) with my wife’s Amazon prime account. The Patlock is easy to fit and remove and perfectly secures the two French doors of our dining room. With an alarm system in place on the door (magnetic contact and sensor) we feel 100% secure with the Patlock in place. Would recommend this product to all.
