We were delighted to find Peacock’s Pest Control, having discovered an unwelcome guest in our shed. Lucy and Gareth are incredibly warm, friendly and professional and from the moment we spoke with them, we instantly felt reassured. Communication was excellent throughout. Gareth was thorough, lifting drain covers and exploring every inch of our front driveway and back garden to establish the routes used by the creature. It was fascinating to learn how its age, size and diet could be gleaned from the pellets. Gareth produced a detailed report and returned after a few weeks to find that the animal had been caught and had been dining on boxes of grass seed, as suspected. Gareth used mesh to patch up the entry points and disinfected the shed, helping us to go through all the chewed and damaged items. He and Lucy are extremely considerate and it has been a pleasure to deal with such an ethical and caring company. Thoroughly recommend.

I can’t praise Gareth enough for sorting out our massive rat problem in the loft and utility room. He was highly knowledgeable in his field of expertise, friendly, personable and a pleasure to greet at the door over a period of months while he diligently sought to solve the case. He described it as one of the most complicated and difficult jobs he’d ever done as the rats were coming in from three diverse locations, but he painstakingly sort out and blocked them all. I am very impressed with Peacocks Pest Control who I have been using for the past year. They provide a complete investigation and treatment service at a reasonable price and will not stop until the pest problem has been eradicated. The founder and owner, Gareth, is a qualified and experienced biologist and pest control expert who takes the time and trouble to investigate the cause of the pest problem ((rats, mice, bees, wasps) before explains the treatment plan and implementing the solution. In my case , apart from laying traps, this also included preventative measures such as installing or repairing door draft excluders or repairing masonry cracks where mice might enter.

From my first point of contact Gareth had booked my appointment within 48hrs, and was very punctual on the booked follow up appointment.
My issues were fully rectified and without any fuss or drama.

I had a problem with a rat(s)? getting into my attic.
Gareth set up traps and two cameras to identify where they were gaining entry. One rat caught.
They seem to be coming from my neighbours property, who refuses entry. so unable to fully identify entry point.
As of now no further sign of entry has been found.

I had rats under floorboards which had gnawed through pipes, so no hot water or heating! Gareth put baited traps, (no poison) & also identified how they got in. He knows what he talks about, and is very personable.
After 2 visits, I am now rat free!
