Got me through my final CIMA exam with only 2 weeks to prepare, also better value for money than other providers. Thank you very much.

Okay, so originally, I planned to write this review after receiving my results in October, having sat the SCS exam in August. That seemed like the logical time – use a pass/fail outcome as a metric to evaluate Procountancy. But then it hit me: pass rates are a flawed way to measure the quality of tuition. Why should a provider be judged solely on whether I put in the work and used the materials as intended?

That’s exactly why I’m writing this now – because if I don’t pass, it will not be due to a lack of dedication from Hugh or inferior materials. It’ll be because I didn’t utilise the resources properly. In fact, the opposite is true: the materials are outstanding – easily the best I've come across. They’re designed specifically for the SCS, reworking theory into a format you can actually apply in a case study, rather than just memorise for objective tests.

As for the support? Second to none. If I had one criticism, it would be this: Hugh, how are you sustaining this level of dedication?! You must be more exhausted than the candidates. I’ve seen replies at all hours, and no topic is too complex for him to break down. Hugh doesn’t just teach the theory – he coaches you through the realities of the exam, from breaking down questions to refining exam technique. He genuinely makes the whole experience not only manageable but enjoyable.

I sat the exam today (21st August 2025), and I’ve never felt more prepared. For the first time, I’m not dreading the six-week wait. I feel confident and proud of the effort I’ve put in – but make no mistake, I couldn’t have done it without Hugh and the Procountancy team. He’ll probably say it’s all us – that we put in the work – but that’s only part of the story. The structure, the materials, the feedback, the constant support... they make all the difference.

I took the Ultimate SCS Course, and honestly, the price was a steal. Hugh – I genuinely think you’re underselling yourself. I would’ve paid double for the quality you provide, and most providers do charge that as a minimum.

I started my CIMA Journey unsure, I managed to pass the MCS with self study and struggle but my preparation for the SCS with Procountancy's help has been far smoother and more exciting. I only wish I had discovered Procountancy earlier in my CIMA journey rather than towards the end of my studies. Having previously attended a course with one of the big tuition providers and worked through several past case study exams, I can confidently say that Procountancy’s practice exams are far closer to how CIMA actually examines candidates.

The book - it is simply amazing. The content is clear, practical, and really helps to refresh and reinforce all the relevant technical knowledge needed for the exam. It’s one of the best study resources I’ve used throughout my CIMA studies.

I’m not planning to fail my resit, but if I do, I’ll definitely be joining the full course programme for November. If I pass, however, I will still be recommending Procountancy to anyone preparing for the SCS. For anyone going through the CIMA journey, their resources are a must.

Finally, Hugh is extremely responsive and supportive, which makes huge difference when you're preparing for such demanding exam.

Purchased the SCS ultimate textbook. I started preparing for this exam a little last minute and was taking the second sitting in the window, I needed some laser focused materials that cut out the filler but without sacrificing on quality.

This textbook does a great job of covering all the content, always keeping a case study approach in mind, it is not just a summary from all the competencies/ exam pillars, which includes a lot of stuff that wont come up in the exam.

If you want a "cover everything" book, this is really it, and the case study specific questions are great practice too.

I only found Procountancy towards the end of my CIMA study journey, using them for my SCS preparation. And I am so sorry I didn't find them earlier on! I have used a wide range of tuition providers to complete my CIMA studies, and Procountancy is a hands down standout provider. The content is excellent, very well explained and the mocks are super challenging and prepare you well for exams. But what really sets Procountancy apart is the personal touch. Hugh’s dedication to his students is second to none. He genuinely cares, takes the time to support students, and his commitment shines through in everything he does. That level of care and individual attention simply isn’t matched by other providers. I would urge CIMA students to give Procountancy a try!!!

I purchased the procountancy course to help me prepare for my SCS exam as I found the material on FLP insufficient.

The textbook on the platform was excellent and a big reason as to why my knowledge was good enough to pass, it covers the material so well without any fluff that you may find from other sources.

The mock tests and assessments are further amazing, they test you in such a way that is similar to what you will find within the exam and covers potential scenarios very well. The marking is also super useful towards working on weak points.
I completed my last mock just 2 or 3 days before the exam and Hugh and his team went out of their way to help me even though it was past the deadline to submit mocks.

After having failed my exam once, I decided to give Procountancy a try. I felt that my revision was catered more towards general revision rather than actually tackling the skills and topics which were required by the SCS. I was hesitant to spend too much money as I hadn’t used Procountancy before and it was still a fairly new company during the time I gave it a shot so I chose to purchase only the text book and study independently.

Looking back, I’ve realised that I’d spent a lot of time taking part in the Procountancy community alongside studying in order to sharpen my knowledge. The materials themselves gave me a good range within the topics to tackle exam-specific knowledge and Hugh’s active support in ensuring we students always had someone to talk to during moments of self-doubt made a massive difference in my self-confidence.

Alongside the textbook, I would highly recommend practicing mock exams. This combination is what eventually allowed me to pass the case study exam.

Hugh has created some incredible resources that helped me so much in passing my SCS first time! Additionally, he’s was incredibly prompt at replying to any questions I had on the exams or topics. I couldn’t recommend Procountancy more!

Hugh was brilliant from start to finish. The course structure was perfect and so easy to follow. It’s really thorough but split into bite size chunks so if you’re like me and have to juggle study and family life, you can dip in for one video as and when you get a minute.

The company and market analysis is equally in depth and covers all basis. There’s targeted areas to focus on that are likely to come up which really help shape your study. The whole course is brilliant but Hugh’s personal touch is what makes it.
He’ll continually ask questions to the group that make you think about how you’d answer certain topics should they come up in the exam. It helps give you a fully rounded view of the paper. The mock feedback is really useful.

The SCS was the only exam I had any study course for & Hugh helped me pass first time. If I had anymore exams to take, I’d use him again without question.
