I’ve been searching for public liability insurance online and it’s my first time having to get it for a one off event. Most of the websites are so tedious with the amount of questions they have and I almost gave up. Protectivity was simple, direct and quick from getting quote to purchasing the cover. Price seem reasonable too and the cover met the event organiser’s expectation so all good!

Poor level of cover
Gave me an inadequate level of cover for the industry and when I tried to raise it to the industry standard they upped the cost. What’s the point in insuring me if you can’t give me adequate cover without a premium? I’m glad I cancelled.

Too many emails
Absolutely fine up until I processed a quote. Since then, I have been inundated with emails: "Still need protection?", "Share your feedback with us", "We value your feedback". It's bordering on spam and is enough to make me avoid using Protectivity in future.
** Edit: contradictory response to this review from Protectivity says it understands that only relevant emails are preferable, while default communications preference is 'Everything' and you have to phone them to adjust this. Waste of customer time?
