We bought our 17 year old son a ride along for his birthday. We ended up having to switch days due to a scheduling conflict with our son's work schedule. They were very accommodating, and the woman was super sweet. Our son had an absolute blast. Very easy check in process, very easy location. We used the Richmond Raceway location. Only real complaint we had is that we had booked the side by side and when we got there they told us that they didn't have the side by side for that day. They did however give us two extra laps. My son was looking forward to the side by side, but he had such a blast and got the extra two laps so it really didn't even phase him. His driver was awesome. Probably one of the fastest out there. He had a wonderful time. Everyone was super friendly. Other than the no side by side, we have zero complaints...and they did attempt to make it up to him, so that was appreciated. I would definitely recommend RWR Experience.

A big thank you to the hole entire crew from the ladies handling the paper work very nice and explained everything even to the insurance .Art you did an amazing Job explaining everything about the car the track how to drive on the track and my spotter they didn't give name you was so awesome and my experience was so amazing that we are going to get my Brother and son to do it next year I wish I had time today for the ride along but it's okay know there was a lot of people and the men doing the ride along Hats off to you guys I heard so many amazing things about there experiences so thanks again to the hole Rusty Wallace racing experience team everyone that was there made it feel amazing a memory that well last for ever Thank James Turner

Went to Michigan International Speedway on 10/10/21 and took my son and daughter. Perfect weather. The entire crew was professional and friendly as always. Safety First! They made sure we all got the pics on the plaques we wanted, educated us well and answered any questions we had. My daughter had a anxiety moment in the car. They brought her in, calmed her down and she got back on the track and had a great day! Truly turned a possible bad time into a memorable experience. Thanks to Art the whole crew!!!

Myself and 3 of my buddys just did the Michigan driving experience this past Saturday for the 3rd year in a row. I'm hooked. Art was great with the safety side of things and the pit boss and assistants were also great. We are already talking about next year. Thank you Rusty Wallace and all the workers..

Just did the Rusty Wallace racing experience again at MIS and as always was a great experience. Art the instructor all the pit crew and spotters and all the others working together for everyone to have a great experience. Have been doing this every year for 6 years now and plan to keep the tradition going have had multiple other family members join in my brother has 3 years now also. You guys and ladies are great.

Ray did a great job of getting us started, describing what was coming. I felt comfortable for a first timer, and felt safe in his mentoring. When I was driving, it was fun but felt like I was short changed when the soft touch rev limiter kept cutting the engine out at speed. I kept trying to go faster, but the limiter stopped me, so I can't give a positive rating.

My 21 yo son did this at Dover racetrack. We added the drive along which is discounted if you are also driving. He absolutely loved it. He was able to drive as fast as he could, safely passed several other drivers, was passed himself by a pro driver doing the ride along. It all went smoothly. Look for a Groupon for 50%off.

Wife surprised me with this at Sandusky speedway on 9-26-21 with a ride along and 20 lap solo.yes I have the best wife in the world.. day started out with Art my instructor and he has alote of knowledge about driving and these cars and then went out and got fitted with helmet driving suit and other gear. Did the ridealong for 3 fast laps and I paid attention to what and wear the driver was going and doing even listened to the engine the way it sounded and when he let off the gas and got back on the gas. Jumped out pumped and ready to go. Got in the car met my spotter and I was in car #78 but he keeped calling me #28 lol good one . He told me I would be the lead car and the I went out on track kinda did a slow lap to make sure everything was OK and then I got on the gas and drove as fast as I could. Car stuck like glue in the corners and before long I was by myself on the track until the ridealong car came out and past me in no time at all. It was a Great experience and would do it again but would like to do a 50 lap run lol. If you do this you'll have a good time and if you don't you did not pay attention to Art and your spotter. I had a terrible time at the rusty Wallace racing experience. I was so excited to finally get to drive a race car. But these are not race cars, my pick up truck will go faster than these cars. I was supposed to get 10 laps but on my first lap at what felt like 25mph I spun out in the exact same spot on the track as 2 other cars before me, most likely do to an oil leak for one of the other cars that was smoking very bad. I barley touched a wood post and the guy said I did $750 worth of damage, all that was broken was 4 rivits and a weld, and who knows it was probably already broke. Basically they stole $1000 dollars from me.

Didn't hit record. Left me in my car overheating. Banned me on Facebook when asking for support

Amazing opportunity!! Great teachers, the instructor was very personable and helpful made things easy to remember and made sure we all knew what we needed to for safety. The ride along was fantastic the driver went so fast it was a once in a life time ride, and if you select to drive the car it’s insane you get to drive a real race car by yourself!

What a great experience I had today at MIS. Each employee was very professional yet light hearted to make you feel comfortable. Shout out to Art our instructor who did a fabulous job explaining all of the driving aspects.
I did the ride along first as suggested. That helped me understand the groove we had to stay in when driving.

I’ve wanted to do this kind of thing for a long time and I was not disappointed. Everyone at the track was sooo great. Art did an awesome job training us to drive a race car-from emergency possibilities to when to accelerate or lift (take your foot off the accelerator)! The ride along was great. Started with Dennis but the car died so went to another car. Shawn (or Ranch Dorito breath 😁) got me strapped into the ride along car. The ride along was so exciting. Then Taylor strapped me into the race car I drove-Home Depot #14. He answered all my questions. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job. Great racing experience that I would recommend to anyone who likes to drive fast.

Outstanding experience run by professionals who clearly want to help everyone have a great time regardless of their familiarity with race cars. Excellent.

Horrible.I guess this experience is not for everyone. I purchased 20 laps with the picture and video package about a year and a half ago. I got it for my wife who always wanted to drive a race car. The event was rescheduled like 3 times. Five minutes after purchasing this package I called with the concern that my wife couldn’t drive a standard transmission. They told me there was no chance of getting a refund. That they deal with this all the time and they would push her on to the tracking second gear. When we get to the track the convinced us to get the insurance and a ride along package as well. Another hundred and 30 bucks. But ok. She went on the ride along and the guy driving didn’t say one word. Took her three laps and that was it. Long story shorter she didn’t get the push out.so she never made it out of first gear. She said the guy on the radio was yelling at her the whole time. She only went three of the 20 laps and then gave up and wanted to go home. At the end we got the picture of the car and a picture of her sitting on the car, both blurry! So yeah I would say if you have a lot of money to throw away and you can already drive a race car. Go for it. If not haul ass in your car on the freeway while taking a selfie and you’ll have a better experience.

Both times had been reschedules all because of Covid

Everything was absolutely a great experience from the very helpful booking staff to the ladies in the trailer working their ___"es off and the Pit Crew(s).
They have taken the Covid and from the 1st to the 2nd time
have bettered their approach and executing a sanitized environment.

I give 500% yes and will gladly recommend to all

Horrible customer service! I was told that I could get a refund for this if needed and now I'm being completely denied one! This was supposed to be a gift for my father in 2019 and he didn't get to enjoy it before he passed. Now they're saying I can't have anything even though they have an email they sent me that has the refund mentioned in it.

This is the worse experience that I and my husband ever had! First, health & safety policy is a lie! No one wears a mask! The driver and the person who buckled up didn’t wear mask and they were literally breathing on your face. Also, no one cleaned or used antiseptic, it was a line to the same car to ride along and each person went to the drive in the same car. Second, I purchased video package and didn’t receive video or refund! I emailed and no one answered! They are scammers!

This was my 2nd time here and what a disaster! They were running 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. behind schedule. The racing 'class' was very poor. We had a 2pm scheduled time and they told us we may not be able to drive due to them being so far behind in the schedule. They tried to squeeze us in (son, daughter and me) at 4:30pm with the sun setting at 4:55 pm and NO TRACK LIGHTS. We paid for 8 laps and only received 4!! It was so dark on the track and looking thru a very dirty and scratched up window made it extremely difficult to see the track and the prescribed drive line. Last tine I averaged 145mph, this time only 104.5mph.
IF you come here, book the 8am - 12pm class ONLY!!! Otherwise there is no guarantee you will be able to drive in good conditions.
