Worst customer service and technical support (all offshore) I have experienced in 40 years of dealing with businesses. Avoid Reckon like RSV. One star is flattering. The only reason I haven't given zero is because the feedback form doesn't allow it. Awful.

I change from a Desktop version of…
I change from a Desktop version of Rekon to Reckon One.
They said my data would be transferred over in a migration process.
Two months later it's still not correct. Emails as phone calls haven't got any results and even when I point out that balances are incorrect, they have done nothing.
What customer service????

Very good technical support
Very good technical support. A very helpful and patient technician guided me to my program. I would have found it very difficult.
One thing- when ringing me , I will not answer unless the person identifies themselves and Reckon does not-just a small thing but fixing it would make the service perfect!

Locked Out of My Own Financial Data Unless I Keep Paying
Used Reckon Accounts Personal for years to manage my finances, only to find that the moment my subscription expired, I was completely locked out of my own data.
You don’t just lose access to the software — you lose the ability to even view or export your own financial records unless you keep paying. There’s no read-only mode, no grace period, and no way to retrieve your data without renewing.
They claim you “own your data,” but in reality, you can’t access it without an active subscription. That’s not ownership — that’s dependency.
Would not recommend to anyone who values control over their own information.

We’d like to clarify how Reckon Accounts Personal works in this regard. Access to the software, including the ability to open, view, and export your data is tied to an active subscription. This has always been the case and is outlined in our product information and terms for the Reckon Personal range. At this time, a read-only mode is not available in the Personal range software.
That said, you absolutely do retain ownership of your data. Renewing your subscription will restore full access to your existing file, allowing you to view or export your records at any time.
We understand this setup may not suit everyone, and we genuinely appreciate your feedback.

Still no fix for cash flow problrm
Still fix for cash flow problem this person says I knew how to fix which is not true setting my computer date back to pre-January is not a fix to the program. Its a program Fault and it is now march and nothing has been done to fix it
