Recoheat is a superb product well-worth purchasing.

Pros
- smart and simple engineering - a simple coil fed with pumped air produces and jets out tremendous heat. Really easy installation - effortless for my stove fitter to install even though he had never heard of it but was very complimentary and impressed with the technology.

-increases stove efficiency meaning the room gets warmer quicker reducing need for a burning more fuel

-absolutely trumps a stove fan. Stove fan simply circulates hot air whereas the Recoheat is a heat source of itself! Like a mini hairdryer which jets out ridiculous levels of heat. If is tantamount to a fan heater which cost and arm and a leg in electricity. Very satisfying to have the stove running and the Recoheat working effortlessly to jet out ridiculous heat into the room.

Cons
Slightly noisy but unavoidable white noise if you want the benefit of the heat. I'd recommend like me you drill a hole through an external wall and place the pump outside so that you don't hear the pump noise. I have connected my Recoheat to a smart Alexa plug enabling me to turn it on and off at a command. I personally don't find the hissing noise too offensive but can understand why others would want to hear just the sound of firewood crackling away which is a lot more peaceful. I prefer to maximise my stoves efficiency so put up with the white noise the Recoheat produces.

-heat circulation into rest of house. Though the Recoheat will heat up the room you are in with doors closed much quicker my biggest gripe is not the noise or the cost of the product but the fact that the heat does not travel upstairs :( others have said that the heat does travel upstairs and I don't doubt that is the case as their house may have better insulation. The room my stove is in is a through room which may contribute to a proper current being produced. I may have to really test out the capability of the Recoheat to heat my upstairs (or at the very least improve the temperature by a few degrees) by burning my stove hotter and for an entire day but I am saddened by this, especially considering I have draught-proofed external and internal doors. I will caveat it by saying that is not Recoheat's fault but the fault on the way my house and living room are designed. Very gutting and I am envious of people that are able to use the Recoheat in lieu of central heating - so Recoheat is a pro in this regard, not a con!

I installed my woodstove only last month and thought I'd want to maximise my stoves efficiency and brought the Recoheat after some research and seeing YouTube videos. I would recommend the Recoheat 10/10. I simply dread to think what could have happened if I did not have it and had to put up with cold spots within my living room! I love the Recoheat and one thing it certainly does is evenly heat my living room with doors closed.

I am a novice to woodburners however I think seasoned owners of woodburners will notice the difference before and after Recoheat even more. Don't think about it - spend the £300!!!!! It's very reasonable for the benefits you get from it. 10/10 product

Hi, finally took the plunge and ordered a Recoheat back in August in preparation for the Winter. The concept and the way it works is beyond me, but my goodness it is so effective and it really does work! The heat that is produced from the unit circulates around my house (2 bed semi) extremely well and certainly makes a huge difference to my heating costs. I live in a house with only electric heating, so reducing the amount I use at today's prices is paramount. I thoroughly recommend it and the staff are extremely helpful and informative.

Over summer I installed a log burner. My job as a qualified retrofit assessor/coordinator is to recommend domestic energy efficiencies to maximize investment and reduce paypack period. The Recoheat product is a perfect partner to your log burner especially in hard to heat homes. It introduces heat into your home that would of ordinarily have been lost through the flu. The heat is immediate from a lit fire and before the stove itself has emitted heat or via the glass. As it is creating a convection current this has a greater impact than radiated heat alone. It is whisper quiet that you can hear the fire draw. I might add that I bought a smart plug that is timed so the heat can convect long after the last log has been burnt out minimizing heat loss, maximizing efficiency. The care and attention from Will is exemplary, I am so pleased to have purchased this product.

Wanted the Recoheat unit for a while, having watched numerous youtube videos of the company i am so glad i have now purchased and fitted one to my stove. The differance is outstanding.

Ordered last week not sure it would be effective in a conservatory,after getting in touch with the company for a honest opinion decided to try.Now installed very impressed even though stove is not as hot as I could have it the air disturbance seems to be the key in warming the home great idea.

From the order to receiving the Reco heat was very quick

We ordered a Recoheat to be fitted with a wood burning stove. All our emailed questions to Recoheat regarding the suitability of the gadget were answered promptly and comprehensively. Since the stove was being fitted with an air intake from external air, it made sense to fit the Recoheat air pump externally also, with a pipe through the wall to the Recoheat on the flue. This is the ideal configuration as it creates a positive pressure which pushes warm air out of the room with the stove and into the rest of the house. We no longer need to use radiators in our hallway, for example, when the stove is lit and the Recoheat is on.

Recoheat and pump well made and fitted into flue as per instructions. A little early in the year to say how much difference it will make when operational (I.e. wood burner lit) but if all other reviews are to be believed it will no doubt prove to be very efficient and effective.

Having seen the Reco heats system i watched the videos and thought this was a great idea to utilise the heat in the flu so I took the plunge and ordered one, it arrived very quickly and is very easy to fit, The guys at Reco are very quick to respond with any queries, I was concerned about potential noise from the pump but having positioned it in a cupboard it really is low level white noise similar to fridge noise , would defo recommend

parcel arrived earlier than quoted, everything appears to be correct and great quality, not installed yet, looking forward to being toasty this winter

Fast delivery and device pumps out the heat. Unfortunately it’s too warm right now to give it a proper test, but hopefully come winter I will see just how well this performs.

After some discussion with Will, who was extremely helpful, a neighbour and I bought two Recoheat units. We had some difficulty finding a fitter but an engineering friend came to the rescue. We are both delighted with the performance of these units, the almost instant heat output, the warmth distribution and the requirement for less fuel. The pump is almost silent and the hiss from the output is no more than from a gas fire and soon becomes almost unnoticeable.
If you're in two minds about buying one go for it. You won't regret it.

Recoheat were great to deal with and after a call to them and speaking to Will, I was able to purchase the most suitable Recoheat for my stove. Delivery was around 2 days to the Highlands of Scotland. Getting a fitter was the hard part, but they are busy with all the new stove installs this year.
Once fitted, it gave out a noticeable heat compared to just the stove alone. We have a vaulted ceiling in the room we use, so a lot of the heat sits up in the void. With the recoheat, it spreads the heat out at normal height a lot quicker. In fact, I'd say it heats the entire room up in 20 minutes, whereas it used to take about an hour. After about an hour, and with the help of our Meaco fan, the heat is soon spreading along the hallway to our bedrooms and kitchen. This is a great addition to our home and we've even used less wood and stopped reloading the stove earlier in the night. This is great value for money so don't hesitate, just get one.

Brilliant device. Relatively straightforward to fit and works really well. Compressor adds some background noise to the room but located it within a cupboard and this solves the issue. The recoheat unit pumps hot air into the room and the temperature increase over the standard burner is amazing. Highly recommended
