Good design and service from Steve However our kitchen fitting would have been better if the project manager hadn't been on holiday. As it was, work took longer and problems that arose were not dealt with effectively.
Since fitting, a problematic join in the kitchen worktop was eventually reviewed after a couple of months and several emails.
We were told by the fitter who viewed it and with confirmation with Alec the project manager that it was our fault for allowing ,'standing water' on it. Needless to say we were appalled by this result given wirh no apology. We will sort this problem ourselves and would not recommend this firm as it has taken no responsibility at all.

Ik wil jullie graag waarschuwen voor Richmond en bedrijf Kracht Interieur in Kampen. Mijn ervaring met hen is zeer teleurstellend. Ongeveer een jaar geleden heb ik meubels en lampen gekocht, maar alles kwam beschadigd aan. Na het contact met Richmond, die de lampen meenam om het probleem op te lossen, ontdekte ik dat de eigenaar failliet is gegaan.

Richmond heeft beloofd te helpen, maar de nieuwe meubels die ik heb ontvangen waren ook beschadigd, en de lampen die hij beloofde komen niet meer. Dit heeft geleid tot veel frustratie en ik zit nu met kapotte meubels en zonder lampen, ondanks dat ik alles al heb betaald.

Ik raad iedereen aan om voorzichtig te zijn en goed na te denken voordat je iets bij Richmond koopt. Zorg ervoor dat je alles goed documenteert en wees alert op mogelijke problemen.

After going round the local kitchen showrooms and suppliers, we found Richmond by far the easiest to deal with and the only ones who afford a full start to finish service. Steve was great with the planning and going through different options and supplying details of appliances. Once we'd agreed on the design a start date was booked in. We were given a detailed schedule which was mostly stuck to, just a hiccup with a supplier not delivery quite on time, but from start to finish it only took 3 weeks, which included a new ceiling, replastering walls, new electrics and full installation - thanks Stuart and team.
We'd highley recommend Richmond and will definitely tell our family and friends if they are looking for a new kitchen.

Richmond's are the best company we've ever worked with. They managed the work like clockwork so that the entire rebuild was completed within 2 to 3 weeks. All the trades followed one another so that no time was lost. The quality of the finished kitchen/dining room is fabulous. Special mention to the joiner, Stuart. And thanks to the rest of the team (Stephen)for project management and extending our payment schedule. Paul for all the CAD drawings. Great from start to finish! So pleased with our new kitchen. Finished to a very high standard, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!

I had a kitchen renovation done by this company in 2001, I was initially very pleased with the work and posted a good review, however, in the 18 months since the kitchen was installed there has been a catalogue of problems. The fridge/freezer began to freeze up and leak water which was eventually found to be due it being incorrectly installed with some of the packaging still in place at the back, the hob fused and had to be replaced, the light switches started to crackle and stopped working so the electrician had to be called back out, one of the plug sockets sparks when used and the mixer tap that was fitted has developed a leak and needs to be replaced. In the 18 months since the kitchen was installed there has not been a period where something wasn't wrong so I don't think I would recommend this company any more.

We're delighted with our new kitchen. From start to finish the service and professionalism from their team has been exceptional. We can't praise them enough and are happy to strongly recommend Richmond Interiors.

Can’t recommend Richmonds highly enough. Excellent service from start to finish, beautiful design, great communication, easy to work with & to have onsite. The quality of the kitchen & the fitting was exceptionally high. Richmonds were easily able to compete with the high street names but with far better quality & service. We adore our new kitchen & everyone who sees it says how beautiful it is. Thanks Lawrence, Georgia, Stuart, Steve & all the team for going the extra mile every step of the way.

From the Friday where we wandered in off the street to ask about kitchens and Georgia stayed half an hour past closing time to talk to us, through the design consultation phase, to managing the various teams doing building work, plastering, electrics, tiling, plumbing and fitting, nothing was too much trouble and the end results are beyond what I thought could be done. Every day I'm delighted by what they achieved and it's simply a joy to sit in the kitchen and look at it.

From start to finish nothing was too much trouble as the end results show.
