I've used Riders Share on both sides, renting out several of my motorcycles and renting other people's motorcycles since 2020. It is by far the best motorcycle rental platform there is available. After 50+ rentals I have never had an issue with a renter abusing my bike or rented a bike that made me feel uncomfortable. Even when a bike came back damaged, the RS people were quick and accurate with the damage estimate and covered hidden damage that was found later. Can't say the same about Twisted Road or Eagle Rider...

I have been an owner and renter on this site for many years and this is by far the best motorcycle rentals place! The processes are well thought out and easy to work with, staff is responsive and helpful. Issues are dealt with swiftly and fairly.

Riders Share is an awesome company for motorcycle rentals. I had a great experience on a motorcycle tour with them in Phoenix. They had a good variety of bikes at different prices, and my friends and I had a fun experience renting for the week.

First time I rented a bike and halfway through the ride I noticed extremely loose handlebars, spongy shocks, and brake issues. Pulled the bike over for more thorough inspection and found a lot of serious safety issues. Contacted Riders Share after returning the bike and they sided with the owner for liability reasons and then retaliated against me for raising the issues by leaking my credit report infor in n email thread with numerous people including the bike owner, and accused me of not being trustworthy based on a credit card payment reported as late. I complained the the government and BBB so the company retaliated again by charging me all kinds of erroneous fees that I had to dispute with my bank to recover. The CEO himself even interjected and was in fact the one who leaked my credit report information. Then he personally deleted my account so I could not have any record of anything.

Honestly I had a great experience with a rental in LA. I only came on here because I almost didn't go with them because of these reviews. Salty people. Got me a Harley road glide. The owner, Luis, was easy to deal with.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to rent a motorcycle while simultaneously completing an obstacle course in bureaucracy, look no further than Riders Share. The service fee alone made me question my life choices, but the real adventure begins with the check-in process — a solid 30 minutes of tapping, uploading, photographing, confirming, swearing, and hoping the platform doesn’t glitch. Spoiler: you get to do that whole circus again when you return the bike.
By the end of it, I realized I could’ve just bought another motorcycle, ridden it, and sold it — all in less time than this rental required. If you enjoy lengthy digital scavenger hunts and high fees, this platform is perfect. If you prefer to, you know… ride, maybe look elsewhere.

Did a motorcycle rental in Las Vegas and the service was great: quick, low prices, and bike in mint condition - unlike other rental shops where bikes are beat up. Booked a motorcycle tour too through and rode through the dessert into the Grand Canyon through routes with no traffic and lots of curves

I just tried to rent through Riders Share for a 9 day trip. The listing indicated it was $50/day, crossed out and reduced to $36/day. On checkout, I saw that the daily price I would be charged was still $50, and that Riders Share has added an un-noted $101.25 "service fee". I won't do business this way and I'd encourage you not to either.

I’ve been a Riders Share “Power Owner” for years with three motorcycles and over 50 successful rentals, maintaining my bikes to the highest standards so renters have safe, quality rides. I’m not here to “line my pockets” — I’m here to share great machines and cover my costs. Unfortunately, Riders Share’s handling of a recent damage claim has been extremely disappointing.

During a recent rental, one of my BMW Atacama pannier bags (a premium adventure bag built for rugged use) was damaged when the renter apparently failed to secure it properly, causing the strap and buckle to be ripped completely off—most likely when it got caught in the rear wheel. My pre-rental photos show the bag in perfect condition, and the renter acknowledged the strap broke during the trip.

Despite this clear evidence of renter-caused damage, Riders Share denied the claim, calling it “wear and tear.” Their adjuster suggested I “cut and sew it back together” and implied that owners who file claims are just trying to make extra money. That kind of dismissive tone toward the very people supplying the bikes that make their platform possible is unacceptable.

This wasn’t a high-dollar claim — it’s a small, straightforward repair on a discontinued BMW/Mosko Moto bag. But it’s about principle and fairness. Damage like this directly reduces the bike’s value and my rental margins, and owners rely on the platform’s insurance policy to protect against exactly this kind of renter mishap.

I’ve requested the full policy wording, definitions of “wear and tear,” and the formal appeals process — all of which Riders Share has refused to provide. I’ve since filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and am sharing this experience so other owners know what to expect.

If you’re a current or potential Riders Share owner, understand that the “owner protection” they advertise can be discretionary, with minimal accountability when claims are denied.

*All pictures for before and after were provided and clearly showed the bag was in excellent condition. The renter admitted that he broke it - likely left it unstrapped and it got caught in the rear spoke wheel and was ripped off. Now being addressed in small claims court.

I discovered Riders Share in 2023 when I rented a moto in Sturgis. I had a good experience and I like the concept. I wish it would exists also in Europe.

we have rented three motorbikes from the same person in Atlanta through riders-share. The experience was amazing and that is mainly because of the person that we have selected to rent from and not so much to the company. Nowadays I see their site behaves a bit shaky

I rented the Yamaha Tenere 700 from Colin in Fairbanks Alaska in June 2024. This was the best customer service experience I’ve had from a man namedColin. He hooked me up with extra tools and a spare gas tank. He also gave me his number to call if I had any issues/questions. I highly recommend renting from here!

I've rented bikes on riders-share.com before and it was a fine experience. Last week, I rented a 2013 Triumph Bonneville T100 and was charged $165 for Minimum Damage Waiver for 1 day rental. I have been riding over 25 years. The Damage Deductible was $4,000 and Liability / Theft / TL Deductible was $5000. The bike is probably only worth $2000 tops. This is absolutely ludicrous to charge that much. I called Customer Support and was told the premium is based on rider experience, age, bike value. No explanation what factor drove the premium that high. I'll not be using this service again and wouldn't recommend it to any else.

I am so happy with the use of Rider-share.com. I rented a Honda Goldwing for 13 days and paid only 1030 dollars including insurance and roadhelp assistance.

Bike was great. Very good check out / check in app with pictures to be taken.

Have only good experience and I recommend to use Rider-share instead of this rental companies who rip you off. I paid one third compare to others which had rented motorbike by ordinary rental companies.I am so happy about the bike and trip. Thanks
