I want my son who needs the most need get the house they are staying now, but do not have a down payment to get it as it still have a mortgage. I needed the money too, to pay off the family plots I bought so they do not have to worry as much when these things are needed. Mr Celentano suggested the gift of equity. All of the staff who helped us were all so efficient and knowledgeable.

I have sold a few houses over time and while Rocket close seemed to look like they had it all together there were items that fell to the back burner that I as the seller had to get done. They didn't coordinate the close out billing for water, sewer and trash with the borough. They missed scheduling a final inspection with the borough. All things that in my past transactions with other closing agents went through with out my oversight. They were not able to execute a 1031 exchange, which became a non point of contention as I decided to just cash out and pay capital gains taxes. The agents I spoke to were courteous and helpful.

The agents who helped me get my first home purchase process started were wonderful, the closing specialist assigned to my case was also wonderful. My application process was easy and fast. The notary they sent to my new home address was very unprofessional and unprepared. The morning of my close she was scheduled to be there at 9AM she called and told me she never accepted through email and she lived an hour away did I still want to do this today. THEN she got to my residence 2 hours after the appointment was scheduled (11AM) and we gave her our identifications, signed her notary book, she then pulled out the paperwork, and it wasn’t the correct paperwork not even my name or loan entirely. She then had to leave to go print the correct paperwork, came back almost an hour later to close on my first home. Complained that she had to spend her own 140 dollars to print my paperwork at staples. She then started just handing papers to sign, no disclosures or explanation of what they were. Horrible notary republic. Not even a congratulations was given on my exciting day. Very unsatisfied with my experience as a first time home buyer on my final closing day.
My review is for the notary republic working for rocket, all the other team members assigned to my loan were wonderful!

I was amazed how efficient the process was and how much help there was a long the way.

Delays on Rocket end in regards to home appraisal. Multiple times we had to point out and request corrections to loan paperwork. Same types of issues raised multiple times.

The rocket mortgage employee was friendly and explained everything very well! He called to when he said he would in the process of the loan. He checked in to explain the status and asked if I had any questions.
