I took advantage of an offer - but taken advantage of!

I took advantage of an offer, as a new user, for 5000 bonus points when booking through Rocket Miles. I booked, took a screen shot of the offer, had my stay - but have only received the base 500 points advertised. Several emails later, not even an acknowledgement from RocketMiles that they have received my email and are looking into it. Nothing. How many times do they do this offer, get us signed up and then don't deliver and just ignore you? Not impressed Rocket Miles.

I have an email confirmation from Rocket miles - Air Alaska Hotels that hotel room is booked, I have checked and my credit card has been charged.

Hotel does not see my reservation.

for a few hours I have been calling and emailing air alaska hotels rocketmiles support , but no one is answering . I have texted them on facebook, instagram twitter , rocketmiles was not answering.

I was in Mexico, it was a night time, I was tired, frustrated…. I was waiting in the lobby for hours, eventually I was able to book directly another room.
So I paid twice.

what a downgrade

"AAdvantage® hotel and car rental awards are available only through the Redemption Site, which is provided and managed by Rocketmiles." That came straight from cars.useaamiles.com's terms.

So... Rocketmiles and AAdvantage are now working together. This is terrible! We used to be able to trade reward miles for cars with ease, but now that Rocketmiles is servicing the program, nothing out of Fayetteville Regional Airport for MONTHS. The cars are clearly there, but it's as though rocketmiles doesn't know or care. And the website just says that it can't find an exact match for our search. And customer service says it can't help because they'd have to use the same website not to mention that the terms are such that one can ONLY use the website. But it doesn't matter how I change my search at this airport, they won't offer not one car.

I accumulated miles because I specifically used the credit card for the benefit of getting the miles. I am sooooo disappointed and feel sooooooo betrayed.

Mileage still not credited...

I made a booking for a several rooms at a premium hotel through rocketmiles, and requested the mileage to be credited to my Alaska Mileage Plan account. These bookings were made in increments of up to one week at a time to maximize the amount of miles earned. Unfortunately, it seems that rocket miles just credited for the first booking. When I initially mailed them to alert them that there is missing mileage which has not been posted, they simply informed me that it usually takes between 2 to 4 weeks after the hotel stay for miles to be credit.

I have been using rocketmiles for several years, and have never had to wait so long for miles to be credited. In fact, we are now over two weeks after check out; and no still no miles have been credited.

They say that the reservation & mileage credit system is automated, but after reading all the other negative reviews mentioned on this site; I gather that this is a regular issue with rocketmiles.

I am to be credit over 50,000 alaska air miles, but it seems I will be waiting a very long time to get these miles.

They start to steal money with no reservation!

Took my money and no reservations. I made a reservation for $1500 on rocketmiles using the promo code for first time user. After the final step the system tell me no reservation made due to we are not first time user, that’s not a big issue. Then we received a text notice. The $1500 has been taking from our account. We called our credit card company which confirm the transaction is approved, we email rocketmiles, they insisted the reservation wasn’t made, they did take the money from the credit card. But they shortly put back. The truth is there is no reservation made, and money was not put back. I email them my credit card statement to prove the money has not put back, then there is no answer after that!!!

Update. It has been more than 2 weeks. No money refunded. The credit card company said no money refund because it was approved transaction…

Going back to priceline

I called to get details of a car rental I canceled. I originally booked it through Alaska airlines who told me to call Rocket Miles and provided me with the customer service number. I spent 22 minutes on the phone before the rep told me I called the Hotel division and I needed to call the Car division. I explained with a frustrated voice that I spent an hour on this now between calling Alaska and now Rocket Miles. He politely asked me to wait on hold again but did not explain why. At the 55 minute mark of being on hold I hung up. Charles Barkley would say TRRIBLE service. Wont rent through rocket miles/alaska again

Worst company ever

The worst company ever. I do not recommend dealing with them at all because they are a failed company and have very bad services. They turn off the phone in the face of the customer.

In my case Rocketmiles has crashed

In 2020, I discovered Rocketmiles (RM) through an e-mail from Turkish Airlines recommending this company. My first experience with them was excellent, to the extent that I recommended RM to several friends. My second experience proved that this move was a mistake.
Following a stay in Pattaya, I received a confirmation that 2000 miles would be credited to my Turkish Airlines account on 17 July. I was in contact with them and received a series of flimsy excuses, ie:
First, I was told that the matter would be "escalated" to the department concerned.
Second, after a second contact (the escalation didn't yield any result) I was requested to "update" my account number. This was unnecessary since it was the same account to which RM miles had been deposited before. The move sounded very much like delaying tactics.
Third, I received a message to the effect that the miles accrual would be made during a "new cycle" with the proviso that it might take 1 to 4 weeks for the process to be completed. This timeframe has now elapsed with the usual no action posture.
Fourth, I received a message putting the blame on Turkish Airlines and suggesting that miles could be credited to another airline account, albeit at a lesser but still profitable value (!). I would have been relieved to get rid of this problem, save for the fact that I didn't have another airline account. Anyway, I had signed up to get miles from Turkish Airlines.
I understand from the review comments that I am not the only customer facing this situation. The company appears to be fully aware of this problem, but what action they are taking to resolve it, if any, remains at best opaque.
Furthermore, I am surprised that they are putting the blame on the airline since the latter initially recommended them. I am receiving Turkish Airlines miles from other sources and I have so far never experienced a problem.
It would be fair to expect that RM should give a clear and consistent explanation to customers facing this situation (instead of giving different excuses to different people, as evidenced by the customers reviews).
However, I am afraid that expecting improvements from RM is quixotic hope. Expecting to earn miles through RM has turned into a chimera. What a disappointment.
In the circumstances, I would follow the recommendation from one of the reviewer to explore working with companies which have the same business model and have a record of reliability and predictability.

I think I was scammed by…

I think I was scammed by Rocketmiles.com.
I am still waiting for the accreditation of miles from Turkish Airlines for two hotel stays in 14-15 May 2021 and others more pending, more than 2.5 months have passed.
My case is similar to a recent post, after a consultation with rocketmiles employees in several opotunities, they say to wait for a response from Turkish Airways. I believe that the miles should be credited immediately as promised in the email received after booking. And obviously tb the miles that correspond to me by referral.I don't know what happened to this site this time. He has totally let me down.

Terrible experience if problem occurs

I´m using Rocketmiles for years and I even recommended Rocketmiles to my friends in past. However this changed now and I´m warning all my friends and telling them not to use Rocketmiles anymore!
What happend? I booked 4 night stay in Hermitage Hotel Prague (booking confirmation code DAPARB), after my stay (check-out was on 2. 7. 2021) I should get 3750 miles to my Turkish Airlines account and according Rocketmiles email which I received on 2. 7. 2021 "miles will be added to your Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles account by Jul 16, 2021". No miles was added by 16. 7. 2021,so I contacted Rocketmiles Concierge on 17. 7. 2021 (via email), they answered me on 19. 7. 2021, that there was some error with posting miles, they will send the miles again and miles should be on my account in 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks again no miles on my account. So I contacted Rocektmiles again on 2. 8. 2021, that miles are still not added. They answered same day and asked me, if "I´m open to possibility posting this reward to a different reward program. Again the same day, on 2. 8. 2021 I answered that yes, that I want them to post the miles to my Alaska Milage Plan. Suddenly Rocketmiles stop communicated with me and I didn´t get any answer until now (they answered every time in hours, maximaly in 1 or 2 days), even that I urged them 2 times (on 4. 8. and 6. 8. 2021) and I have no miles on my account after more than 5 weeks from end of my stay.
So if there is no problem Rocketmiles work well, but if problem occurs they don´t give a s**t about their customers and they just start ignoring them insted of trying to solve the problem which they caused!

Rocket worked out the problem for me--Appreciate it!

UPDATE: Rocket has reached out to me which I appreciate! It took quite a bit of time for the responses which is why I am rating them lower than normal. They are always professional and polite in our communication. I now also understand I need to contact them directly right away when there is a problem so I am definitely going to give them another go. But the Non-Quality Inn--nope.
ORIGINAL: I booked a hotel through T-Mobile / Rocket Travel for 4-nights-- It was non refundable, non changeable. The hotel was outdated, photos did not match reality and amenities offered were not available. No hotel manager on duty to take care of problems. No breakfast 3 out of 4 days. Rocket was working on the issue but I wasn't aware so thought their response was slow. The hotel was unwilling to work with them so unable to resolve the issues.

Run!!!

Run! Do not use this service! They are so dishonest! We booked in a hotel that was advertised as a luxurious hotel and booked a $1000 luxury suite. The hotel was not a full service hotel, does not have a concierge, not even a front desk to check in! (simply 1 man working from a box of a room from 9-5 and if you don’t plan to coordinate your arrival time you will never be able to get a key to the room you have pre-paid because the building is locked and there is no way to get into the lobby.) There is no housekeeping, no restaurant, not even a full size elevator that can fit 2 people and luggage. The rooms are tiny. The only positive is the location- though that is also problematic because it is so loud on the Piazza at night it is impossible to sleep through the noise. We had a reservation for a “luxury suite” ~ but when we got to the hotel the rooftop apartment they were going to put us in was the farthest thing from a luxury suite - so outdated, the kitchen stove and refrigerator was at least 30 years old, the furniture was dirty and the view was of a dirty rooftop. The photos on the website were not representative of the rooms!!!. We asked to move to another room and they put us in a tiny double and only refunded us $100. of our prepayment. I suggest you RUN as far away from this scam as you can.

I paid $99.54 for a hotel room

I paid $99.54 for a hotel room. Canceled my room due to the room smelling like mold, roaches and totally not a good place to have your stay not even for 1 minute. Especially children with disabilities. However, rocket travel is advertising such a horrible place. More importantly, reservation was canceled and rocket travel is only trying to pay me back $8.99 out of $99.54. This is ridiculous and i won't allow this to happen to anyone else in the future. I have taking the steps and reported the hotel to the Bureau of Professional regulations and I'm coming for Rocket Travel next.

My booking was full paid but cancelled

Today was my anniversary wedding in Nice France Le Méridien Hotel. When I checked in the front desk told my booking was cancelled!!!!!. I called customer service in USA number which cost me allot and we kept calling each other for more than 6 hours and
I can’t hold my self after 18 hours from home to airport to get to Nice France . I have decided to book a hotel under my expense. Then Rocketmiles called me and they told me they will refund my money back . I will until they refund it , but the most concern is the party which I was going to do it for wife and the calibration went nothing as we were very tired.
It was very tough day.., but the Rocketmiles refund my money back and even they give original points into my travel account which was fairly done . Thanks

I book a hotel thru rocket miles for…

I book a hotel thru rocket miles for after a wedding that was 3 hours away from my house. When I got to the hotel after the wedding there was no room and the hotel was booked. So I had a long drive home after we slept in my car for a while, Awesome! Yes they did refund my payment and miles but trying to get a manager on the phone to get additional compensation for the inconvenience was impossible. I am still waiting on 3 different promises of a manager to call me back. I'm switching credit cards asap.

Customer Service Sucks - Empty Promises

It has been a week since I spoke to your customer service on the phone, emailed, and messaged through twitter regarding a reservation that did not go through but yet still redeemed 31,800 of my miles. I've been told that the miles would magically re-appear once the technical issue has been resolved but it looks like it's business as usual for you with no acknowlegement of the issue. Asking me to "dm your email address and customer service will get back to you" is an empty promise. I have yet to hear from anyone.

I had called you 7 times by phone maybe my phone charges (100 USD). Also you didn't pay my booking cost to Hotel and Hotel has got from me also you take my credit card. I've used Rocketmiles many times but first time I had live very very very big problem!!!! I didn't get any "information" - any "email" - any "feedback" from them. I didn't use hereafter and I tell all peoples to very bad and very dangirious web site. I will make bad advirtise.
