NYC Columbus Ave and never came.... I called the same day and its was not delivered ever and they said if it does not show up i would get a refund.... Well i call they are closed .... i call the next day and they said it was delivered at 3pm when i was calling at 8pm same day asking what happened to my flowers.... they said they need to do a 48 hour investigation.... 1week 2 days later and I'm still waiting for an email..... I also never got a confirmation email..... Warning do not use this company they are scammers and i will be reporting them to the armory generals office for illegal sales tactics and so on.... thanks for ruining a birthday and not even return my money.... When I googled the need for a florist in Williamsburg, VA Ruthroses listed they are a family owed business and have been in the community for 25 plus years. This statement gave the impression they were located in Williamsburg. NOT SO. The flowers order vs the flowers delivered were totally different. This was a disappointment. I did not look at reviews before ordering. I would not order from such a deceptive company.

Delivered to the wrong address left on…
Delivered to the wrong address left on that porch overnight in near freezing temp and rain. The neighbor made the delivery the next day. As in other reviews the flowers were not what I ordered and a very skimmpy arrangement. Of course the flowers are all dying 2 days later from exposure. If I lived close to this friend I would have gone to the grocery store for their $24 arrangement and had a nicer one than what finally arrived via the neighbor. Delivery scheduled Thurs. arrived on Sat.

My mother ordered flowers from Ruth's Roses for her sister who turned 90 and she never received them. They claimed they tried to deliver the first day but Auntie wasn't home (which wasn't true) and they tried the next day and was successful (which wasn't true). It's apparent they delivered to a different address and I'm asking mother to request a refund.
VERY, VERY poor quality
The VERY POOR quality (and quantity) of flowers that were delivered did not resemble the arrangement that was ordered in any way. The excessive fees for what was delivered feels very much like a scam.
LATE FUNERAL DELIVERY..... order placed 3/19/2026 to be delivered 3/23/2026
I placed a funeral flower ordered on 3/19/2026 to be delivered to Estes Funeral Home on 3/23/2026. I was told I would receive an order delivery confirmation. When I didn't receive the confirmation, I called the funeral home at 8:30am on 3/24/2026 to confirm if the flowers were delivered. I was told they had not been received. I called Ruth Roses florist letting them now the flowers were not received, and I was told they were delivered at 6:10pm. The funeral home stated they were closed at that time, and nothing was left at their door. The florist said they would investigate and give me a call back, which I never received a call from the florist, but I did receive a call from the funeral home saying a person delivered the flowers at 10:30am and just left the flowers at the funeral home door. The funeral was to start at a church at 11:00am, so the flowers were not at the funeral service like I wanted them to be, as to why I asked for the delivery to be made on Monday a before the funeral. First of all, flowers should NOT be left at a door, secondly, for the price that is paid for delivery ($18.99) better customer service and delivery should be taken! It is very dishearten that my funeral condolences for my Aunt were not received when they should have due to the extremely poor and inconsiderate customer service of Ruth Roses florist!!

Do NOT order from this company . I wanted a basket of live plants for my nieces birthday. The cost of the basket I ordered was $119 (plus a $19.99 service fee that’s not disclosed up front). They instead delivered a bouquet of cut flowers that looked like the $39 bouquets on their site. After many calls and emails, they said the best they could do was refund $50. This is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. I hope this review prevents other customers from experiencing the same frustration. Stay away from this company!

I ordered flowers for my Mother's 89th birthday. This company took my money immediately. Several hours later I received an email stating they could not fulfill my order. They got my money though! Dirty dogs!

Substituted everything in my arrangement and it looked nothing like the picture that I was supposed to be ordering.
Also said Free Delivery but added a $18.99 service charge.
Picture was supposed to be 18 Premium Roses and instead they used 12 roses that died within 3 days.
Picture featured a Ruby Red Vase and they substituted a cheap clea glass vase.
I attempted to resolve my dissatisfaction with them and they simply told me to go back and read the fine print.
NEVER USE this company for your loved ones flowers.

If possible to give zero stars I would. Order never delivered. I have been calling for three days and I'm being told it takes 48 hours to close investigation. I don't want the flowers anymore, just a refund but I can't be refunded until upper management approves?! Terrible negative 5 stars. Do Not Waste your time!
TERRIBLE SERVICE
I ordered a large arrangement for a funeral. They were to be delivered to the funeral home the day before the funeral. I called the funeral home the morning of the funeral to ensure they had arrived and they had not. I called Ruth's to find out why they weren't delivered and they told me it would take between 4-8 hours to do an inquiry. The funeral was to take place in less than an hour. The flowers did not make it to the funeral and to add insult to injury, once they were delivered to the funeral home, the family had to make a special trip to pick them up as they had already concluded all of their business with the funeral home. I asked for a discount and was given the run around. Extremely unhappy with the service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Beautiful Roses
I ordered 45 red roses plus 1 white rose for our 44th Wedding Anniversary (a long story). Although a little pricey, the flowers were beautiful and delivered as I specifically asked them to be. My wife was absolutely thrilled with them! They lasted just over a week and were regretfully disposed of. Given the number of negative reviews, it appears I dodged a bullet on this order!

I ordered flowers for my dear sister who just had brain surgery. Unlike most complaints listed here about this company, which is a call center, these people don't even do the floral pieces, they send them to other local florists My was sent to Smith's Florist and it looked like a 12 year old made this arrangement. I am a funeral director of over 30 years, I know flowers. There was all of 10 flowers in it (I chose the deluxe size). A $100 arrangement isn't what it used to be apparently. It was delivered to my sister, but after the phone call to them they too told me they would get back to me after they "investigate" the matter. As it was more important to me that a floral arrangement went to my sister to brighten her day, I call Lakeside Florist and they were so professional and understanding and really took the time to understand what I wanted sent. Stay away from Ruth's Roses IT IS A SCAM and beware of Smith's florist as they are terrible at floral arrangements. The woman I spoke to on the phone, lacked all professionalism, offered no solution to the problem and lacked class all the way around. Disgusting. My next stop will be the Attorney Generals Office and the BBB.

Ordered flowers, candy, and balloons to be delivered to my daughter's school for her 13th bday. They didn't deliver them, and when I called they lied and said they did. Several emails later, they are still lying and saying they were delivered, but keep changing the time that they were delivered.

First the say they are a family owned business in Tarpon Springs. I ordered flowers to be delivered to my sister who was grieving loss of a loved one. They assured me flowers would be delivered that day. I called them 5 times to check on status of delivery. Every time it was a different person. They said I can see you talked to a colleague and we will call you back. Never did. Called back response is we have to wait until we hear back from delivery time. Flowers not delivered and they could not have cared less. Dispute started with my credit card company. My bad for not reading reviews first. Please do your due diligence. Do not use this company. A scam.
They sent a cheaper version - 12 roses vs 18 which is what I ordered
I ordered a premium 18 rose package that retailed for $132 and I upgraded $4.99 to get a full card sent with my message to a friend that I really wanted to make a special surprise.
What was sent was a 12 rose package that retailed for $82.99 and they didn't include the card I upgraded for. They had a folded paper that was addressed to me, the sender!
When I inquired that about the issue and I understand if there might have been an error. They only covered $20 of a refund versus the difference of the two different product offered which was $53.99!
All of this they charged an $18.99 service fee. This was no service, they got the order wrong and they failed to be accountable. I highly caution from using Ruth's Roses for anyone thinking of sending something special to someone. This is a first time in a long while, that I've encountered this level of poor customer service from paying a super premium price on a service.
