Terrible. Placed a Christmas order on 20/11/24 no communication from the company. Still shown as ‘processing’ on my online order. I Rang and they told me it was getting sorted as no one replied to my email. Eventually someone replied to my email to be then told it was out of stock and I needed to have a refund/ reorder. Tried to call again and no answer no email back. Today on 9/12/24 finally managed to get back in touch but have genuinely no hope that I will get my order before Christmas. I have a feeling No one would have got in touch with me to tell me if I hadn’t chased it up. Difficult to get in contact with and emails take days and days for a reply. Awful customer service. Can’t even comment on the product as I don’t have it. And I have no hope that I will ever see it.

Product ordered and item expected as advertised to arrive within 48 hrs. Only to be told 4 working days later the product showing as available online is in fact out of stock! Currently waiting for a refund!

Ordered on 48 hours delivery for an urgent item needed for a show. No response to emails enquiring on despatch. Hugely frustrating and no item received so far. Wish I'd read reviews beforehand and gone elsewhere.

For the third and last time I have ordered from here and paid 48hr tracked delivery. Only to find everything products that were Atleast 4 items in stock on the website were actually not in stock. Then refunded les the actually amount for the product. Customer service was mediocre and nearly a week later product set to arrive less rest of order . Will not be ordering again

Ordered a product over a week ago and paid for 48hr tracked delivery. Have not received item or response to email or message sent via ‘chat’ on website. Very disappointed

Unfortunately ordered boots from here without checking trustpilot, boots were needed for this week. After 5 days still no dispatch email so I rang to be told boots out of stock and an 18 week wait to restock, ( boots were in stock when I ordered ). To be fair the staff member on the phone was polite and arranged a refund which arrived quickly but today when I was looking to reorder the boots elsewhere I accidently got on their website where the boots are still showing in stock. Anyone ordering these boots is in for the same disappointment.

The service is exceptionally good. The Metabug flymask arrived next day and was well packaged. It fits really well and is very smart. The nose section covers my horse's pink nose perfectly. I will be buying another one for my other horse.

Really bad.waiting for the plaster in spray.got the tracking number.cldnt track it.contacted fastway.they said no parcel no sign of my address anywhere.called old mill saddlery.they said they actually never got to send it as sthg happened to the other product I was getting and it was out of stock.so they paused the whole process. they never checked with me what I wanted to do next.my poor injured dog is still waiting for the plaster in spray.

Born and raised in the UK, i moved to the USA in my twenties and safe to say i’m not a fan of the equine gear over here so i buy all my stuff in the UK from stores that ship to the USA.

This company said they do DHL shipping 2-3 days to the USA i said perfect. I spent $300 and shipping was $77, bit high but fine it’s coming in a few days………. Lol

The order was placed and 5 days later i received an email saying two of my items were out of stock. Did i want to wait 7 weeks !!!!!! For them to come in stock or have a refund and all my items shipped out as they do not ship out partial orders. I was like okay mistakes happen, refund me please and hip out my items.
9 days later, i receive another email saying another item was out of stock what did i want to do.

So i sent an email saying it was now over 2 weeks what is happening this is not okay for advertising 2-3 day shipping and at $77 and how upset i was over the whole thing. I got an email 2 days later saying please accept our apologies we were not able to fulfill your order. (In regards to the $7 plating gel, that was the third item out of stock)
This, in my opinion is not how you do business, it’s now been 19 days and i still do not have my package.

Then after scrolling down and seeing all the 1star reviews and why. So please be careful ordering from them.

I ordered womens work boots for 140 euro this week. They've been sent to the wrong address three hours away ! I've sent numerous emails since Sunday with zero reply. Their social media was also of no use. I want a full refund or new boots sent to my actual address ASAP. So hard to get through to.

Amazing communication and v speedy delivery. I've had 2 last minute orders for events and Old Mill have delivered on both occasions. Great communication. They are now my go to for all our equestrian needs. I'm so grateful 🙏

Easy to use website, they delivered on time, and at a good price

Got to give 1 star, bought a manure shaker (a poop scoop with holes), it arrived needing assembly, one pole was missing, so rather than wait for another to be sent from Ireland, I ended up cutting down a pole to use for the rake. I rang old mill saddlery to tell them, whoever was packing the item needed to include two poles. They seemed pretty nonplussed and said they would have to check how the item arrived, as they suspected it arrived assembled and they took them apart from transport, still missing a pole. I assembled it (I’m very good at DIY, so not an issue), all seemed ok, started using it, then the handle on the scoop went loose and I checked it and one screw had come out, right into my wood pellet bedding! So I’ve spent a good hour on my hands and knees running my hands through the bedding to find the missing screw! The screws are in reality just cheap crap that aren’t even magnetic, so I couldn't even run a magnet over the bed, thank god I found the screw, otherwise I would most likely have a costly vet call out, as they’re short and sharp screws, I’d have them been sending the vets bill to old mill saddlery! So, I’ve now taken all the supplied screws out and replaced them with longer screws, so they can’t fall out (hindsight is a wonderful thing as when I checked the supplied screws, they were so short, they only just gripped! The product itself is a bad design, handle on the scoop is incredibly thick, so you’d have to have huge hands to hold it to shake (my wrists were aching in a very short time, wasted far more bedding than if I had mucked out with a fork. My first time ever ordering from old mill saddlery, as they seemed so unconcerned when I called about the missing item, I definitely wouldn’t use them again.

Regarding the purchase of a couple of Horseware turnout rugs the company were super responsive and sent the items quickly. However, I wasn’t particularly happy with the quality of the rugs, one of which ripped the first time the horse rolled. I contacted old mill for a refund or offered to pay the difference for another style. They have ignored me completely after replying to the original email. I have loads of horseware rugs and never had them rip at all. Poor customer service.

I ordered several items but needed to make a change via email. Was picked up late but the lady I spoke to was so helpful and retrieved my parcel and made changes. I would definitely order again. Fast delivery and good price too.

After what I thought was going to be a long delay the gang in Old Mill came through! Delivery took approx 6 days. My Dublin boots are divine and fit really well and I'm so happy with them. Thanks to Abbie in Old Mill for sorting me out!

this company is good and gives good sadl but it dont fit on my honse

Company emailed me following an order made last week as item on the order was out of stock, for the third time in 3 years. Requested whole order cancelled and was told too late as the rest had been despatched, yet no order complete confirm as I’ve had on previous orders so not convinced that is true. I was told to return it when I receive it if I want (yet more time this company are sitting on my cash!) No escalation when requested, told to call the shop. Very poor experience.

I understand that not fixing this oversell issue on their website helps their cash flow but very frustrating as a customer. Seems priority is wrong. Won’t be using again.
