Extremely comfortable platform trainers

Super pleased with my purchase as it is very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes

Love the shoes. So comfortable and supportive. Excellent styling. Easy to order and prompt dispatch and delivery. Excellent service all round. Definitely recommend and you get the quality you pay for.

The shoes are fantastic: I have five pairs; had to send one back due to a sizing issue: found that returns are not free as they say, if you want a refund you have to pay £2.50 or you can get the whole amount back if you choose to take the sum as store credit. I wanted to buy another pair because they really are good shoes so chose the store credit; went to buy the shoes and found that my gift card code (for £160) doesn’t work. There is no number to call and I have tried several methods of contacting the company but have received no reply to any of my messages. I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy from this company: you may get a fantastic pair of shoes but if something goes wrong you may well lose your money as it is looking like I have done.

I am happy to say that within minutes of leaving this review I received a reply to a message I had sent via their contact form a couple of days prior. The issue still took several days to resolve but it has been, satisfactorily. I have been asked if I will consider removing or adapting my review; I am prepared to make this addition because I want to make clear that I did not lose my money but received a refund in full and a discount code for a future purchase - which I have made because the shoes are really excellent. I cannot praise the quality highly enough and would recommend them to anyone - but the customer service needs improvement: at best responses to contact from customers needs to be much quicker; also the fee of £2.50 if you want a refund to your payment method just needs to go. That has what has caused the trouble in this case: if returns are free they should be free. This is my honest review of my experience with Sans Matin; I am not prepared to alter the star rating because although the shoes deserve five stars leaving customers in doubt about refunds is serious.

I wish I had a glowing review like so many I read before purchasing. Sad to say thats not the case here. Not comfortable at all. The tongue was cutting into my ankle, it might have been better with a curve in it and softer leather for flexability the weight was way too heavy for any comfort and the shoe sizing that they offered didn't work for me. I had to return them. That was also a bit of a chore. Make sure you don't throw out the tissue because they want it all back for a refund and all the paperwork as well. Topping it all off they charged me $3.00 to send back a very uncomfortable shoe.. they definitely don't make it easy. I won't buy from this shoe company and will not recommend to anyone I know. I am hopeful to receive my refund without having to go through all the issues I have now found through the reviews I just saw here. I wish I would had done better researching on this company but I will definitely take it to the bank if I have to.

I love my Sans Matin shoes; all 3 pairs with another pair on order! Husband likes his too.

The most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time! Had a small problem with my very first pair, but customer service were excellent! They exchanged without any quibble! So, I ordered my second pair!!

Put to the test! Worn from new, the only pair of shoes I took on a very hot trip to Europe. Supremely comfortable, no pressure points, true to size with room around the toes and no pinch points. Extremely delighted.

Just received my third pair, delivered promptly following order.
Great all round trainers, as comfortable as any I have had over the years
( including reebok classics!), superb quality leather and something a little different from the big designer brands.

If I could register a minus review it would be applicable. An order was placed 6 weeks ago and payment taken in full. I have yet to receive an update on shipping. Communications have been extremely poor and there is no phone number to call. All one can do is repeatly fill out the “communication form” and hope for a response. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and try and recover my $ from the credit card company. Strongly recommend NOT doing business with Sans Martin Shoes. Though the website is slick and looks promising the positive experience ends there.

You can tell these trainers are going to be great the moment you receive them and see how they are packaged. Unrivalled soft leather and beautifully made. I hope they last as good as they look

So pleased with these very stylish more than a trainer

I was impressed as soon as I stepped on my new Lala shoes! The footbed is well cushioned and felt very comfortable. I’ve had problems with my left foot and wanted the extra height that this model offer. I had to pre-order as by the time I’ve made up my mind to buy this pair, it was no longer in stock, however, it came 2 weeks early than the original date of delivery which was a bonus. I do feel like it’s coming off my ankles when I walk but after tightening the shoe laces it was much better. There’s still a teeny bit of pull to come off but it’s the right size for me so I will persevere in tweaking the shoe laces.

These shoes look great but the cut around the ankles does not work for me. Ended up with blisters on both ankles. Customer services suggested thicker socks and germolene and that the shoes can take a while to wear in !! Not what I was expecting

Great trainers, exceptionally comfortable. A little too long in the toe area for me so very sad to return them (which was very easy).

My partner purchased the C20 Orginals for me, as I fell in love with them when I had seen them, but then I put them on and was so excited, they looked so good on and off and I feel like I am walking on air. Beautiful sneaker that is worth the money, I simply love them.

Bought the Original C20 trainers perfect fit and so comfortable, there are cheaper trainers out there but definitely not of the quality or style of Sans Matin, whom will be my go to company from now on, I have just order my wife the The Eduardo, no issues with communication or shipment of the product which is first class, I have no hesitate in recommending Sans Matin.
