card and swift dont work. useless. STAY AWAY
- the account they open only works in EU SEPA payments SWIFT didnt work.
- 50 eur account opening (fine I guess)
- 50 eur minimum balance and if you want to send this last 50 eur nope its not possible the account will not let you send the last 50 eur and you are already in -100 eur :)
- the virtual card doesn't work. tested steam, netflix and prime none of them worked. it is practically useless.
they can open legit EUR IBAN but it feels like a scam. nothing works properly. if they are after the fees they get the fees and you have very useless EUR account for yourself :)

Absolutely no complaints about Satchel. I've been using it for six months. A freelancer account allows to work with partners around the world. I use the card for online and offline shopping. Sepa payments are super fast. Simple and comfy app interface, no problems. Thanks guys!

I have a business account with Satchel for few months now, I must say that their customer support and services are TOP. One of the best that I have seen in years of doing business! I am very happy that I find about them and that I was able to use their services. I saw other negative reviews, probably some of them are fake because from my experience with them, everything is perfect. Transparent fees.
Thank you for your services and I am looking for our business relationship to last for years to come!

DO NOT BANK WITH SATCHEL EU. ITS A SCAM!
I opened an account with this scam... They ripped me off of over 500 Euro to open the account which I felt was unfair and THEN GOT TOLD I needed to keep a min 250 EURO in the account to keep the account open. I was not aware of this. Now I want to close the account and have to pay an additional 150 Euro to close the account. DO NOT BANK WITH SATCHEL EU.

We apologize for the unfortunate situation that could occur. We will surely take care of it. To help us resolve the issue, please write a letter to our customer support. We will be more than happy to help you out quickly and with minimal inconvenience.
Since Satchel is a direct partner of Mastercard, and all transactions are automated, it is highly unlikely that you cannot use a card that has not expired. You always have the option of ordering a virtual card or an additional physical card if it happens.
Blocking an IBAN account, particularly your funds, is out of the question. Please reach out to us and we will take care of it!

Awful company and incredibly sketchy. They will rob your money if you ever try to transfer it to any recipient, they will tell you it has been sent and it will never be received. It will be just taken by them and you will never see it again. They ignore complaints and will just stonewall you. Goodbye money.

Dear G M, we take your concerns seriously and can assure you that the situation you have described has never happened to any of our clients. Since we are an EMI, all customers' funds are held in a segregated account at the Central Bank, and all transactions are under the strict control of supervisory authorities. Fraud transactions are excluded by default.

Almost everything I need
My friend showed me this EMI, and I decided to open an account at Satchel because they provide European IBANs. I needed one since I work as a freelancer and have a few big European clients. Its app is very user friendly, I managed to use it from scratch. For convenience, I even decided to get a virtual card. But I've removed one star since there are no debit cards, I can only get a prepaid card. Hope this option will appear in the future.
