I would like to rate Saudia Taxi and their drivers 4.5 out of 5 stars for providing airport-to-hotel (and vice versa) transfers as well as local Ziyarat (historical site tours) for my family and me in Madinah and Makkah.
overall experience was positive, with great professionalism, but there are a few key areas where service can be improved.
Highlights & Positives
Punctuality & Courtesy: The drivers were consistently on time for every single pickup. They were polite, professional, and prioritized safe driving throughout our journeys.
Vehicle Quality: The vehicles were clean and recent models.
Language & Communication: All of our drivers spoke Urdu, which made communication very easy and smooth for our family.
Responsive Management: The management team was consistently responsive to our messages and quick to apologize whenever issues arose.
Competitive Pricing: Their rates were competitive, and they adjusted our final invoice after we brought our concerns to their attention.
Key Areas for Improvement
1. Vehicle Sizing Discrepancy (Madinah to Makkah):
Issue: We explicitly requested and were confirmed a larger vehicle to comfortably accommodate our family and luggage for the long journey. However, a smaller vehicle arrived without any prior notice.
Impact: This caused unnecessary stress and made the long trip quite uncomfortable. Consequently, we had to cancel our planned stopover at the Badr battlefield.
Resolution: While management adjusted the pricing for the vehicle change and the missed stop, this billing adjustment was only made after I requested a review. Management should proactively adjust invoices when agreed-upon services change without waiting for the customer to ask.
2. In-Vehicle Audio & A/C Performance:
A couple of the vehicles had underperforming A/C units, which created discomfort for passengers in the back seats.
While drivers tried to share historical information during tours, road noise made it very difficult for back-seat passengers to hear. Installing a basic microphone/speaker system would greatly improve the tour experience.
3. Depth of Historical Information:
The drivers provided basic background information during Ziyarat, but most visitors already know the basics. Training drivers on deeper, lesser-known historical facts would add significant value to the tours.
4. Internal Information Sharing:
We submitted all passenger and visa details during the initial booking process. However, every driver asked us for this same information before each trip. Management should streamline their internal operations and supply required passenger details directly to the drivers in advance.
Summary Note for Readers
Our drivers were all fluent Urdu speakers, which was very helpful for us. However, if you require drivers who speak English or other languages, I recommend confirming language availability with Saudia Taxi in advance.
Overall, Saudia Taxi offers a reliable and safe service, and with a few operational adjustments, their service could easily be a 5-star experience.

Excellent taxi service from Jeddah Airport to Madinah. The journey was comfortable and smooth, the driver was polite and professional, and the vehicle was clean. The driver made the long journey much easier after our flight. Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend this service to anyone travelling from Jeddah Airport to Madinah .
