Submitted a claim 5 weeks ago, no communication other than the odd email to say the claim is awaiting processing. Have called and emailed multiple times - emails go unanswered, the call wait system eventually cuts you off. I would advise anyone not to use this company.

From our initial review, it appears some information was missing from the original claim submission. Before a claim can be fully assessed, our Claims Team must complete the necessary validity and document checks, so all required information needs to be received before a decision can be made.
We have also identified some discrepancies between the details held on your Scratch & Patch policy and the information provided by your vet. Our Customer Care Manager has emailed you directly to explain these points privately and let you know what needs to be updated so the claim can continue progressing.

Great value renewal cost.
I had a prompt reminder to renew my pet insurance, this years increase was much less than anticipated and considering the age of my pet is great value for money and provides peace of mind in case we ever need to claim. Most companies give you a great first year deal to draw you in then hike up the cost for future years.

Great renewal price and easy to use app
Been with these for a few years and every time it comes around to the renewal they always beat everyone, unlike other pet insurance companies that put up their prices massively every year.
Not had to use them yet but the cost and the ease of the app is great.

Best Pet Insurance Company
Scratch & Patch is the best pet insurance company I have ever used.
Whenever we have had to make a claim we have been paid out without any questions.
Unlike other insurance companies we have used the cost don't rise every year, more so, if we haven't made a claim in a year the cost has dropped on renewal.
I thoroughly recommend this company for anybody looking for pet insurance.

Our claim was submitted directly by our Vet and we quickly received clear and precise comms from S & P.
I wanted to speak with S&P just to ensure all was in order with the claim. Easy to get through and very helpful.
S&P emails were clear and laid out the claim details precisely so we knew what we would get back if approved.
Full costs ( understandably less the excess) were in my account 3 days after the claim was made. Impressive!
