I ordered and paid for a hedge trimmer online five days ago. No communication from this company. Sent an email, no response. Have never used this company before, very unimpressive customer service and sales service. How long does it take to collect a product ordered online?

Ordered and paid for an item in store and was told it would be ready to collect Friday morning. Called in to collect it Friday evening to be told ot wasn't there. When I asked for a refund, the man said he would go check through the delivery to see if it was there.(Which surely should have been done that morning).
It was not there and he said I could not get a refund until the item arrived, and I would have to return to the store again for it, as they would not put my card details through over the phone for the refund, (which can be done).
So I am now waiting for an item to arrive that I have already got elsewhere, and then I have to return to the store again, to get my money back, even though it was their fault.

Ordered a cheap venetian blind. It arrived with a couple of slats broken; I took images and sent the details to Screwfix. Before the day was out, I had notification that a replacement had been shipped, that was last Friday the blind arrived Monday! The no fuss helpful attention to customer service is outstanding. They did not even want the broken unit returned they said bin it and it has gone to recycling already, Screwfix showed absolute trust in me as one of their customers It shows that someone values us. Thank you, Screwfix, keep up the good work it is appreciated!

Not so nice experience at Screwfix Navan yesterday evening. I pulled up just before 8pm. The door was open, the lights were on and there were staff behind the counter. Immediately that I approached the counter, a woman behind the counter barked at me "no, the system is shut down, we can't help you" "unless you know exactly what you want I can help" I assured her that I knew exactly what I wanted and she snapped at me, "Code?" I hurried to one of the catalog points and tried to find the code for the item i wanted but was already flustered by the womans attitude. There was a younger lad there who was great and he did try to help, but the woman had an awful attitude. Me and my son left and really felt like we'd been bullied. Lads, if you want to be out by 8pm, then close your door to customers at 7.55pm. I would MUCH prefer to find the store closed than be bullied by your staff for turning up too near closing time.

No goods 7 days after ordering. I tried to follow up on-line: 20 minuets of tedium , repeat questions but finally no response and no human contact. Gone to Woodies, these UK basedcompanies don’t provide good customer service anymore and the products are probably Chinese anyway.

Maria, the staff member who served me was excellent, and went looking for a needle in a haystack for me and found the staples I was looking for, she's excellent at her job

I went to the store in Blackpool with an old rim lock looking for a replacement
I went to the counter and was approached by an uninterested young male. I showed him what I wanted and he looked at me like I was from mars
Didn't have a clue what I wanted told me we don't do those here sorry and totally disregarded me so I left the store
I went to woodies and got my replacement. I went online afterwards on screwfix site and there the rim lock was
I was so angry
If ye are going to have people working there make sure they know what they are doing and have at least some bit of manners

Bought the wrong shower and when I returned it to limerick store for a refund it was one day over the 30 day return policy. They did not have the product I needed so I requested a refund and they refused. The manager could have allowed this using his initiative and discretion but he would not give in. I’m not at all impressed and will never shop here again. I will share this experience with all my friends and family so it’s screwfix loss. Not good customer service his customer support was awful

I visited Screwfix on Saracen Street, Glasgow, today and I would like say ‘many thanks’ to staff member Laura who went out of her way to help. Much appreciated!

i ordered a tin of paint and it had completed spilled out when i opened my delivery. The lid was fully off, not taped down at all and there was no marking on the packaging to say which was up it should be. They said they’d sent a replacement then went back on that immediately. Such a waste of time and money for something so avoidable like it’s just maddening.

Useless time wasters. Ordered couple of items on click and collect. Only available in Ashbourne, an hour drive but needed them so ordered anyway. Week past and I still didn't hear about collection time. Contacted them and was told it's all ready for collection, both items. Arrived to learn that one of them isn't available and best they can do is a refund. Store manager didn't even look at me, let alone apologised for the trouble. I literally contacted the shop the same day in the morning to make sure I can drive to collect. They couldn't care less that I drove for hour for incomplete order. Not to mention that for a week none bothered to let me know that I paid for something that isn't available.

I have used the screwfix vouchers many times spent quite a bit, never again my last voucher was not sent on time or day requested given 24 hours notice to send email! Made phone calls informed it was sent once again I had to phone finally three days later! Cost 100 euro quite sure it was lost,, never never again .........

Went in to their store in Ballymount. Was told to set up an account to order something for collection. Next day my email is getting marketing spam.

When I made the order I was told it would take up to 4 working days for collection. No sign of order after 4 days so I rang them to find out what was going on. Got the usual 2 minutes of automated voice telling me there is high calls and do I want to do surveys. I eventually get connected to an agent was put on hold for over 15 minutes. I was told that the item was stuck in transit.

What a complete waste of money and time. I have since ordered items on amazon and got them cheaper and delivered the next day.

Update - I cancelled the order two weeks ago and asked for a refund. I got no notification so I rang their customer support again today. I was told that they had re-ordered the item (which I never asked for) and never issued a refund. I have to now wait up to another week before I get my money back.

Web site is not bad, the app does what it should for 90% of the process, and then the trouble starts, trying to pay using Google wallet doesn't work, it hasn't worked now for over 3 MONTHS, the tech support are a complete waste of space, and the local branch staff have given up reporting it doesn't work. Unfortunately, it looks like screwfix don't monitor feedback here either, so reporting it here might be a waste of time as well. Pity,as a little bit of attention to detail could make a big difference.

A big thanks to Laura and Mark today has a slight problem and was sorted out hassle free .I was unable to find an item on the shop computer and Laura was able to find it for me 😁 lovely helpful staff

Today I had an encounter in their sligo store with extremely rude and dismissive staff that practically refused to sell to me due to my account name being wrong which has nothing to do with him, other than that he was just an extremely unpleasant person to deal with

Needed a new hose for my 3 year old high pressure Titan washer (Bought here from Screwfix Ireland). They only sell hoses for newer models. Same with Screwfix UK. Very poor support for accessories. Then on Kingfisher Spare Parts website - they have it - but only delivery within the UK. Buy Karcher next time!

The avant- cannot rectify the problem
Parts missing off other item I purchased and they could not send out part

I will never use these again absolute joke to deal with and after sales an absolute joke
