Poor customer experience: bought a pair that was too small and arranged a refund. I tried the shoes on twice, despite the fact that the company refused to process it, saying the shoes were now worn and not subject to a refund. I understand if someone walked in them for days, but trying them on at home? Its insane and for the price really, really disappointing, would stay away from their products

Very disappointing customer service and delivery experience

I ordered a pair of shoes from Sebago, and unfortunately the experience has been extremely frustrating.

The first order was not successfully delivered. The parcel was returned to Sebago after DPD provided incorrect delivery information, including proof of delivery that appeared to show a different parcel from another retailer. After contacting Sebago, I was advised to wait for a possible redelivery, but this did not happen. The order was eventually cancelled and I received a refund.

I then reordered the same item, hoping the issue would be resolved. Unfortunately, the second delivery has also failed. DPD marked the parcel as “Sorry we missed you”, despite me being at home all day with no delivery attempt made. The proof-of-delivery photo provided by DPD also appears not to show my property.

I have contacted Sebago again to ask for support and a clear resolution, but I have not yet received a response.

The product itself may be good, but after two failed deliveries and poor communication when trying to resolve the issue, the overall customer experience has been very disappointing.

Great product, no fuss process, quality across the board, love Sebago products and will continue to purchase and recommend this brand.

I’ve been a Sebago customer for over 30 years and indeed I have a pair here that is probably over 30 years old that I bought for my wife and she has worn occasionally and are still in good condition.
Last year I bought several new pairs for myself.
I have actually only worn one of the pairs but to my surprise, the stitching has come undone.
I have reached out to Sebago customer service and they are unwilling to help, I find this disappointing.
Yet another example of a good company sacrificing quality and customer service for short term profit.
You reap what you sow, don’t be surprised when the company goes bankrupt because people lost faith in your product.
It takes time to build a reputation but it’s easily lost.
Consumers are not stupid, well done on ruining a brand with real history 👏

Produits ( chaussures bateau ) dont la semelle se désolidarise en 3 mois... Service après vente insultant ( mauvaise utilisation du produit ! ) et donc dernières sebago de ma vie !!!

I am writing to formally complain about a pair of shoes I purchased at your London store on January 19th.

I wore the shoes for the first time yesterday, for approximately two hours while walking in the street. After this very limited use, I was shocked to notice that the shoes were already significantly damaged (please see attached photos). The condition of the sole suggests a serious quality issue, as it appears extremely fragile and unsuitable for normal use.

Given the high price of the shoes and the strong reputation of your brand, this level of quality is extremely disappointing.

I returned to the store yesterday to show the shoes and request assistance. Unfortunately, my experience with the store manager was very poor: I found their attitude unprofessional and arrogant, which further added to my dissatisfaction.

As the shoes are clearly defective and not fit for purpose, I believe there is an issue with this model’s quality. I am therefore requesting a full refund, as I will not wear them again.

Lovely service, delivery, returns- the website was clear on how to do that (although I had to pay that )
Gotta be honest not sure wether to re - order as the service was fabulous I worry if I re order & the Nxt size does not fit - having to pay again to re return &so on - they were a really lovely shoe

First purchase from Sebago – although I've admired their shoes for several years. The shoes I ordered (Makwa in cognac suede) are exactly as described – beautifully made with thick suede, and I know I will treasure them for years to come. Comfortable straight out the box.

I now have too many Sebago shoes. Is that possible? These beautiful loafers have joined the collection and like every other pair they are comfortable from the outset, stylish and yet practical. Love them.

I’ve just received the SCHOONER WAXED LEATHER BOAT SHOE in blue navy.
The colour of the shoes is completely wrong.
On the website they’re a navy blue colour as described. The shoes I’ve received a black with a hint of blue, nothing like the picture on the website.
The shoes seem to be good quality and the delivery was fast.
I got them on sale for 60£ which is still a deal looking at the quality of the shoes I still feel mislead by the image and am disappointed.

Great savings, quick delivery and top quality product

Well made shoes at a great price in the sale .These are the fourth pair of Sebago shoes that I’ve bought and every pair has lasted well and been comfortable to wear.

I have worn Sebago Docksides for 28 years but the quality is falling behind where it used to be . Sizing is off as is manufacturing quality.
