James changed a light fixture and extractor fan efficiency. Can’t fault the service.

Needed emergency electrician for my 85 year old dad whose power just cut out yesterday. Called several before I got to Sergo for a same day service. Elder the electrician arrived that afternoon. He kept me updated all the way through the work. The fuse board was arcing so v dangerous. Dad had to sleep at mine for safety. But back next day to fit a new board and make everything safe. Fair price for work, excellent service, would recommend and use service again.

Even through working alongside many different trades on building sites for a number of years Elder is the most thorough tradesman myself and my wife have ever known. This can be seen from the fact Elder was not satisfied until everything was completed to the highest possible standard.

Elder’s knowledge is second to none. With regards to explaining the work he was carrying out everything was explained in an easy to understand and concise manner.

There was a lot of investigative works required to find the problem in our home. This involved the cutting of floors , removal of floorboards, carpets and other floor coverings. Everything was returned perfectly. Carpets refitted perfectly . Floor returned correctly. It was as if no investigative work had ever taken place whatsoever.

Awful service. Booked for an engineer to arrive. Never turned up nor did they call me. I called them to find out and they after listening to me say I had waited around for them to turn up person on other end put phone down. I called back numerous times but they never picked up phone. I will go with a more professional company

Avoid at all costs, with the covid situation you expect some details, however still waiting for a job to be completed which was started in March... 9 months, have taken the money and not completed the job, 91 year old lady has had to live with us for 9 months because their is no hot water or heating just plain disgraceful.

Poor communication, phone call after phone call, latest issue, guy came to collect keys with the words, "I'll only need them a few days" four weeks later finally spoke to someone only to be told the work still hasn't been completed.

Poor communication and customer service- I can’t comment on the electrician as never arrived. Called for appointment- I was advised a rough time. No one turned up. Called asked if someone is coming, then advised will get electrician will call me now. No call for 35 minutes. Then tried to call no answer- eventual had to go on chat and was advised electrician was running late do I want to rebook. I leave the rest to your opinion. Have read your comments and it not a true reflection of events and promises weren’t kept. Please try not to blame customer for poor service. That be a start.

Website info seems clear and well laid out.

Rang them on a Monday, described the job and they booked me in for the coming Wednesday despite this current relaxed lockdown period. Super fast booking.

Unfortunately the work wasn't carried out on the booked Wednesday due to another job taking longer than expected.

Rebooked for two days later on a Friday. They then quoted the price for the labour work plus VAT. The price for the parts required for the job would only be known on the day when they arrive to carry out the job. That price is separate. The price was fair considering the speed of the booking and the time spent carrying out the job.

James the electrician carried out his job as expected and spent a considerable amount of time trying to resolve the problem. Did complete the job and was updating me with what he was doing throughout.

Aside from the cancellation of the initial booking, all in all I had a good experience and would recommend them to others.
