I very much enjoy the boxes and completing the projects. Following the video instructions is very helpful. The woman who does the tutorial however needs to have supplies to complete projects correctly as she instructs us. She needs to have a proper tool for turning corners, scissors are not appropriate. She does do a great job in taking us step-by-step through projects. Extra fabric bundles offered to add to box give me double on some fat quarters which means i can do more matching projects. Glad you changed pins and needles. Thank you.

I like having pre-cut pieces. I have issues, however, with the brevity of your written instructions and the lack of quality and understanding in your diagrams. In addition, your videos are often difficult to follow and do not have the focus in on the important part so that they are easy to see how to assemble some of the pieces. I can find the videos, very frustrating with their lack of ability to focus in on specific spots to truly understand what I need to be doing

The one project I made was simple, and turned out great. It's awesome to be provided with precut fabric and all necessary notions.

I like the patterns a lot! They are so fun! I don’t love the fabric colors and would prefer a more modern option. I have swapped out fabrics to those I have on hand, but that defeats the purchase of pre-cut. The one thing I am struggling with are the videos. They are hard to follow. They are too fast and the wording is just too vague. For instance, saying things like “the big piece” or “the other fabric” doesn’t differentiate between what we have in front of us. When we can’t easily see the fabric orientation in the video, we need a clearer explanation. Identifying fabric pieces by name (ie: fabric A, piece B, etc) would make more sense. Slowing down the video would also help a lot.

I became a member Because I wanted to learn more about sewing and I still have my boxes which I never made as of yet but they are so easy to understand and that's why I joined and it's a wonderful way to make items that I would have never gotten elsewhere.

The projects are different and ingenious. I usually need the videos to understand the instructions but the videos are excellent and show me everything I need to know. And the material, oh the material, it is always beautiful, high quality, lovely material.

The boxes are great so far. However, I have not had time to do anything yet. I am hoping that the online tutorials will still be there during the winter when I have more time.

This has been a lot of fun. I’m learning and gaining confidence to venture into more projects

I love how everything you need comes in the kit! It’s awesome! And then you can go to YouTube and watch Taylar sew the project with step by step instructions. So proud of you Taylar!
The only thing I would change, is maybe being able to pick a project. Maybe have options we can choose from and if people don’t pick a project, you automatically send whichever one. I know that would be kinda of a pain but just a thought.

The written instructions could use some work, I have been sewing for 55 years and I usually have to watch the video to understand some of the instructions. The table runner project could use some better instructions making the corners. I ripped it out several times and finally gave up even watching the video.

I really enjoy having everything already pre-cut and learning certain techniques. I've been having a great time learning the proper way to do button holes and zippers, etc. I think my favorite project so far was the backpack!

Thought the fabric was cheap and patterns were just to everyday patterns. Nothing original. Not worth the price for the box or pattern. I got the July box with purse and blanket carrier then the table runner pattern.

It was wonderful. I had a couple issues that were minor, thought I had to express. The company was extremely accommodating in offering options to make it right.

I did love the project was all cut, sewing friendly, including pattern, notions. A great box for beginners and experts.

Sew what box is great to have new projects to make. Gives you a different perspective on sewing things that you normally wouldn’t sew. Also I had questions on a project and I emailed them and they answered and helped me right away.

I really enjoy my sew what boxes. I did a year of them took a break for a few months and I just started back for another year. When you are new to sewing. Having everything cut out helps you actually sew. Instead of being overwhelmed by the whole process.

I love each month receiving new sew what box. Enjoy making the items.

Great customer service. My first box had an incorrectly cut piece of fabric for the project in the box they sent me a replacement right away.
So my second month and I have yet another issue seems the laser cutting needs to be adjusted because none of my pieces are cut right

The box was not worth the money you.put into it.You could go to a craft shop and put it together for cheaper
