As long-time customers, my husband and I started purchasing Shady Rays sunglasses when they were a startup company. Our collection of Shady Rays sunglasses is extensive. Both my husband and I have the new Barstool Sunglasses. Yes, they are cool (no doubt), but most importantly, they help us keep our eyes safe and free of debris. We have been wearing them when riding 4-wheelers ,UTVs and, most recently, when removing our and others' downed trees from the Hurricane Helene storm. The coverage is incredible and much-needed for the work that we are doing. Thanks for having such great sunglasses and for being a great company.
There lost/broken replacement program has come in handy for me many times and I really appreciate the fact that they will replace the shades I love at a fraction of the price! Submitting a replacement request is seamless and quick and I have my new pair within a few days.

I’ve been using Oakley sunglasses for years while working outside almost exclusively, and while they are high-end, I found that they just couldn’t hold up to my rough treatment. The lenses scratched, and I even managed to break a couple of pairs again I am rough on my sunglasses.
Last year, I decided to give Shady Rays a try and ended up buying four pairs—one for my van, one for my service truck, and two backups. I have to say, I’m really impressed! They are much more affordable than Oakleys, yet they have outperformed them in durability. I use polarized lenses since I’m outside 98% of the time, and I’m happy to report that my Shady Rays look brand new with no scratches, despite my rough handling. I often lay them on the dash, toss them into the seat, or even drop them on the floorboard, and they’ve held up beautifully. The backups are still in their boxes, just in case!
We’re planning a trip out west soon, and I’ll definitely be picking up a pair of Black Ocean Pro Polarized (Blue lens) for that adventure.
I can’t say enough about the quality and affordability of Shady Rays. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable sunglasses that can withstand a tough lifestyle!
Wow - absolutely enjoying my Shady Rays! Light, incredible fit, UV and colored lenses. I have very sensitive eyes, even more so after cataract surgery.
I came across Shady Rays back when they had first started. I ordered my first pair in 2020 and since then have ordered many more. Out of all the pairs I’ve had I’ve lost them all. I’ve replaced them once before a couple years ago. Well this week I looked I inquired about getting another pair after a year without any. The particular model that I had was discontinued. I thought I was out of luck but they gave me the option to select another pair from the catalog. I then remembered why I had even purchased from them in the first place. The customer service was ELITE. The speed in which they work is also amazing. It took less than 24 hours after multiple back and forth emails to get it all situated. Thank you to Jasmin and Ashley!!! You guys rock!!! I highly recommend.
Shady Rays ROCKS quality and in customer service. I've had a few pairs break, the more delicate metal framed ones and they always have quickly responded and sent replacements. I recently ordered several new pairs and one had a defective right lenzs which distorted the view, they had me photograph it and I'm awaiting the FREE of shipping charges replacement!

There was a little bump in the road to start, but customer service handled it so well! I also broke my pair (stepped on) after only like 3 months of having them, and it was super easy to get a new pair and shipping is pretty quick. I love their styles and want to try out the snowboarding goggles too. I'll forever stay with this company for their great quality, reasonable price, guarantee and amazing customer service!

Previous review left bellow for transparency. Shadyrays reached out and sent a pair perfect pair of sunglasses. After contact was made, customer service was pretty solid. Am happy with my order.

"I ordered a mystery pair, I wanted to see if the shades were actually good quality without spending full price.
However the pair I got, one of the lenses was already delamination. Making it effectively unusable. I sent an email to customer service along with pictures at the end of last week. They have not responded.
In my opinion stay away from this company!"

The frame quality when it comes to prescription eyeglasses is very poor. I ordered one pair and they cracked below the left eye lens after 6 months. I sent them to repair and they lasted a month or so. After almost 2 months of being at their optical department, they cracked again on the same spot. I though I'd use them for regular sunglasses, but I owned some random pair of sunglasses from a random Chinese company on Amazon, and they looked perfect. I think it has to do with the fact that the prescription on my left eye is high and the lens is too thick for the frame to hold it. Very disappointing but that's life.
Just a shout out . I am 52 and an avid golfer over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on Oakley. Tired of spending so this year I saw your ad on a nascar race I was watching and decided to give them a try . Well I must say I will not be spending 200 a pair no longer your glasses so far are amazing. I am gonna purchase the vapors also and I will be spreading the word in my golf leagues and my track and golf teams that I coach. Keep up the good work and don’t raise prices. The first pair of replacement glasses I ordered got lost in transit, so within two days of contacting them, a new pair were put on rush, sent out & we received them within three days!! Very impressed!
First off, I have been a Shady Ray's customer for many years. Life happens and I have had to pay for shipping of replacements, my fault so not mad. I have also had warranty issues and up to this last week never had an issue. This time I have reached out via the website and with pictures the warranty was handled quick. The problem is the link they sent showed $0.00 for the replacement and it does not show completed on their end. I have reached out repeatedly via email and text. No real person to talk to!!!! I have yet to get a response from my email request and the text will reply after 24 hours and when I respond within a minute or two no response for another day or 2 asking for the same info I gave them before. Not sure what is going on with their company this go round. It is unfortunate cause I feel the glasses are good for the price and, used to be good warranty.
Bought 2 pairs of shadyrays about 5 years ago. With the lifetime warranty, that's a bunch of baloney. Had a pair in my truck, went to put them on and the earpiece broke,tried online replacement only to be met with jumping through hoops a4i et phone home on the frame could not find,but hey 20% off purchase over $60.00 that not going to happen in to the garbage they went,stick your glasses where the shadyrays doesn't shine.

Love the product, but support is terrible.
I was trying to get a replacement for damaged glasses, and about 75% of the way through the process, the rep that was working with me just completely went MIA. Now, on the website, I have a shopping cart with my replacement that will not submit no matter what I try. Very disappointed repeat customer.
Update… Still no progress on getting a replacement. Finally received an email from a different associate, who emailed me a “manual invoice” to complete the replacement transaction. The previous associate I was working with said that I could replace with the same style in a different color, as the color I am replacing is no longer available. Well, this “manual invoice” is only good for the unavailable color (it was a special edition) and I am unable to complete the replacement process. This experience has solidified that I will never purchase a Shady Ray product again. Yes, their name says it all. Knocking down from 2 to 1 star.
My order arrived in a damaged box, and the sunglasses were damaged as well. The customer service response was rapid, responding within minutes of my initial response, and sending a new pair without any hassle.
I would rate them lower if I could. They have shipped my first order with them to an address in another state, that I did not give them. As far as calling them to advise them; three voice mails for assistance and now on hold once again for 15:00 minutes without speaking to them. Their customer service motto is “don’t answer the phone and maybe they will go away”. First time ordered from them and probably the last time.
Just to let you know that I have many pairs of sunglasses, from $15-$300, but yours are my favorite and best ones I have ever had. Both my wife and I have bought 2 pairs and we love them. Everyone is so clear! Thanks for your great product!!
I have bought probably 8 or 10 pair of sunglasses from SR's over the years. It seems that the quality of the scratch resistant coating is not nearly as good in the last couple of years as it had been. My glasses all seem to get scratched in the course of normal use quicker and quicker. I have purchased replacements for several pairs today but I think I will go elsewhere in the future to get glasses where the lenses last longer.
