I purchased a Samsung washing machine with an extended warranty from Sharaf DG. When the machine developed a serious fault within the warranty period, it was declared non-repairable. Instead of a repair or replacement, I was offered a depreciated voucher, which I find unfair and not aligned with the warranty promise. This experience has been disappointing, and I expected better customer support and commitment to after-sales service. The response from customer service was significantly delayed, and I received contradictory information from different call center agents. To add to the frustration, I was asked to evaluate services that were never actually delivered. This has been a disappointing experience and raises serious concerns about the value of the extended warranty and the reliability of after-sales service.

I’ve had two disappointing experiences at the Sharaf DG store in Mirdif City Centre that show a serious lack of honesty from the staff:

Laptop Purchase: My sister asked specifically for a black laptop. The salesperson assured her that black was available. But when she got home, the laptop turned out to be silver. We later found out this model doesn't even come in black, meaning the salesperson completely lied just to make a sale.

Apple Watch Purchase (03/05/2025): My sister bought an Apple Watch Series 10 and was told it doesn’t come with any warranty, unless she pays an extra AED 215 for one year. She paid, but later we found out that Apple provides a 1-year warranty by default. They misled her into paying extra for something that was already included.
This is unacceptable and unethical. It’s clear the staff is either not properly trained or is deliberately misleading customers. I hope Sharaf DG takes this seriously and improves their service.

Recently I have purchased the Siemens Dishwasher IQ500 from Sharaf DG.First they messed with the delivery and later on they delivered the used dishwasher. The packaging was open from top and there was water filled inside the drain area and there were stains of water on the door.Since last 8 days am following up the return but no one is cooperating. I have bought it from Mirdif city center store. In future I will never buy any item from Sharaf DG store nor I will recommend anyone to buy from there. This is complete case of cheating.

when we bought dg shield plus, we sent both of our devices, one of them being a samsung tablet which was sent for repair, and the tablet was not repaired plus the tablet was not returned, only a coupon half the value offered. another one being a samsung fe phone which was fixed but all the data on the phone was removed and we had to pay an extra charge for fixing even with dg shield

They’ve got a decent range of gadgets, appliances, and tech accessories, and their prices are pretty competitive. I found some cool stuff, but the selection felt a bit hit or miss on certain items. The staff was okay – not super helpful, but not unfriendly either. It’s a fair spot if you need something techy, but I wouldn’t say it’s my go-to for all my electronics needs.

I ordered a phone online for next day delivery, the next day status changed to "Shipped" , it's day 3 evening now it still says "shipped". It was for my friend's birthday I'm really disappointed, why sell online if you are not reliable 😕

Terrible, unprofessional, dnt ever buy from them . I placed online order , item came damaged , i requested a refund/return took them 6 days for collection ( with everyday follow up frm my side ) and now its been 19 days i havent received my refund or any email from them that they will issue a refund . And while calling and following they only mention let us check and will call u back.

Absolutely terrible experience. Sold me a brand new TV and then on the doy of delivery told me it isn't in stock. Still no solution from support after multiple attempts

The sales person had sold to me open item, when I went to refund it they refused to refund because it’s open, customer care doesn’t help stores refused to help they simply selling open item and you have no right of return so make sure your item fully closed.

Advertising via the Mall of the Emirates app that they are selling the IPhone 16 and that the item is ‘in stock’ with 4 hours delivery to your home. I purchased the item and was charged the full cost and received a message to say the order was ‘confirmed’ and delivery would be within 4 hours. After several hours the app showed ‘order placed’ but no sign of delivery being in progress. I rang as was told my iPhone could not be delivered and would be available for collection only in 1 MONTH! I explained that their own online system was still showing ‘in stock’ and immediate delivery. They were not interested in correcting this before other people handed over their money. I cancelled my order and was told the refund would take up 14 working days which is scandalous behaviour when they are falsely advertising a product they do not have. You can still go the app even now and buy something for immediate delivery that Sharaf do not even have in stock. They should be prosecuted for this as it is fraudulent behaviour.

I ordered a TV with a delivery date for Friday. I waited in all day on Friday (because the delivery window is 9-6) but nothing arrived. I called the delivery company and they said it would be delivered on Saturday between 9-6. It never arrived and they didnt answer the phone. It turns out that they are not open on Sundays. I spoke to Sharaf DG and they said they will do the best to deliver it on Monday. So now I have to stay home all day tomorrow waiting for it to arrive

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I recently purchased a PlayStation 5 through their online shop, but when I received the package, it was missing the controller and cables. The product listing clearly showed that these items were included, and the sales representative confirmed this before I made the payment. I have proof of this confirmation.

When I contacted customer service to resolve the issue, they were unhelpful and evasive, providing no valid explanation or solution. The problem remains unresolved.

I strongly advise against buying from this company. Their misleading practices and poor customer service are unacceptable.

Bought a phone, the promoter assured me that everything would work. Activated the phone, only to found out that it's absolutely useless to me. Been in contact with IT, went back to the store, they bought time so the 7-day return policy would expire. Customer support is not helpful and blamed me for not knowing some of the apps on the product would not work. Raised a complaint 3 days ago and still waiting to speak to the "high manager" how they called it. Now they want me to pay over 700 DHS for restocking because I opened the item. Sounds like a joke to me.

Horrible experience with DG help. Laptop was collected for repair 13 days ago. No updates from the team. I have been calling everyday and your call center representatives do not have a clue on what is going on. They keep you on hold for 30 mins and even say laptop was not collected in the first place. Inaccurate delivery times and useless customer service
Useless on delivery dates
Made an order online, no options to chose a delivery date, rather they select a date for you. Stayed home all day to await this order and it did not come. You call the USELESS customer service who give you the same line "we are sorry for the inconvenience and we will escalate this to be resolved for you". No one will call you back or do anything about the issue, you will have to continue to chase them and wait endlessly for anything to be delivered.

Worst customer service and very bad experience
