Fraud charges

I charged twice for same service. When I asked for refund they asked me to wait 5-7 days but still I did not get any refund and now customer care supporter said u can not claim refund because of expiry.. lts not fair Urban company. U deduct amount directly from my account twice and now do not refund me. Try to clear my refund or else i will go to consumer court for fraud charges against you.

Booked a full house deep clean for…

Booked a full house deep clean for today. The partners arrived, started work, moved furniture and belongings across the house and then, mid-service, I received a call from Urban Company saying the partner had to leave for a second booking.

This is not a minor inconvenience. My entire house was in disarray - furniture shifted, items displaced, cleaning half-done with no way to restore it ourselves. The partner leaving mid-job left us in a worse state than before the service began.

What followed was three hours of calls and chats with Urban Company's support team, with zero resolution. Calls were dropped or hung up. No callback. No new partner dispatched. No ETA. My family and I are still sitting in a messy, disrupted house as I write this.

Urban Company's cancellation policy protects them. Apparently nothing protects the customer once the service has started and your home has been taken apart.

This is a serious operational failure, not just poor service. If you're booking a full home clean, know that there is no guarantee they'll see it through, and no real support if they don't.

Respect to the offline buisness

Instahelp came to my place and called other person to enter the flat but security denied bcoz won't allow another help to come inside if already help is doing work at my place so give her a 1star raiting.. Again a booked slot Today 9th May so called the help but she refused to come bcoz gave 1 star to her then release same girl booked then I asked her to send another help but she told do it whatever you want to do don't care then msg to UC and tell them a hole story again new drama they said it's showing work done showing in our app but nobody came to my place..so checked my app it's showing she will be late..so no Idea about technology but according to me UC is responsible for everything ask them to refund the amount but the denied so point is big short company refuse to pay me 164rs and I'm a middle class family how can I leave my amount.. need help what to do

The worst company ever exploited…

The worst company ever exploited workers previously it was quite good now at this point brought a new process with AI assisted agent It is an utter failure since it is consuming lot of time since the technician need to update ampier meter reading also the amp meter is ulter bullshit with wrong readings and malfunction plus UC AI is so shit that it doesn't have proper solution for real problem ultimately a simple board fixing of an AC which took 20m was done ,Because of this shit AI update 2h.

I will recommend never to use Urban…

I will recommend never to use Urban Company for kitchen cleaning. They are making fools. They neither clean the kitchen properly nor they are able to remove any greasy stains. It's just a waste of money and time. Very very poor service.

Don’t recommend native RO purifier

I purchased native ro in September 2025 and after 4 months(January), I was smelling foul smell in the water. I called customer service and after arguing multiple times with the executive , I finally had a technician visit at my home. He opened pre-filled and it was too muddy. He cleaned the pre-filter and tank and filled it and emptied it and refilled it again.
Today is 2nd May which is again the 4th month after January. I called customer service and explained them what happened in just 4 months(January 2026) just after the purchase so I want you to schedule a technician visit to clean my pre-filter. She consistently saying that your machine is working fine and pre-filter is purifying the water so we will not arrange technician visit.
I argued her n no of times that I am not convinced what you are saying then she asked me to come on video call and asking me to clean the filter. I told her I don’t know how to do it. She said I will guide you. I told her I don’t want to do it. I need a technician visit and told him to give me a proper training so that I will not call you again for this issue in future. But she denied again.
She also asked me to show the proof to her that pre-filter is clogged. I told her I don’t know how to open it so I can’t show you. I constantly asked her to send a technician and then she can again do a video call and see how much pre-filter can be muddy. I also told her again that arrange a technician visit and told him to train me but she consistently denying and arguing that machine is fine.
First of all where it is written while selling the product that if customer is not happy or not satisfied with your product, you will not send customer service OR
Show me the written documentation where your team are allowed to video call us and ask us ti clean the pre-filter?
Is it monopoly of your company or your product ?

I don’t recommend this product to anyone.

Hyderabad ECIL branch is the worst service is i have ever experienced MARY, ASHWINI, REKHA THESE people has to much of attitude and there are forcing use to give 5 rating other wise there are not turning back to there job.

Can I give less than 1 star?

I booked AC gas refilling through Urban Company and paid ₹2800 as shown on the app. However, when the technician arrived, he demanded an additional ₹2000.

Shockingly, when I contacted their support, I was told to go ahead and pay the extra amount. When I refused, the booking was cancelled by them and ₹200 was deducted from my payment.

To make matters worse, there is no proper customer support—only AI/chatbot responses with no option to speak to a real person.

This is highly unprofessional and misleading pricing. Customers should be clearly informed upfront instead of being forced into paying extra at the last moment.

Very disappointing experience.

Very disappointed with Urban Company.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service experience I have had with Urban Company.

I had booked an AC service for 23rd April. The technician visited but informed me that someone else would come for gas filling and complete the service. However, no one visited on 24th April.

The booking was then rescheduled to 25th April at 8:00 AM. Surprisingly, the engineer arrived at 7:00 AM but refused to perform the service. When I contacted your representative (Jyoti), I was informed that no engineer was scheduled for that day, which is extremely confusing and unprofessional.

Additionally, your call center team has not been helpful in resolving this issue, which has added to my frustration.

This entire experience has been very disappointing and inconvenient

I booked AC servicing for 5 acs for my flat in Gurgaon. When the urban guy Arif came for servicing he saw the VRV unit n said this is not serviced by Urban clap, but give me Rs. 700 per AC and I will first get your order canceled n then I will do the job on a freelance basis for you, while I also get your money refunded.
Arif guy was a novice - didn't know how to open the cover of a split AC and has made one AC non-functional.

I booked a AC cleaning from Urban company. They seem to tie up with local AC cleaners. My AC has been malfunctioning after this service. There is no way to contact them after one week. It is frustrating because Samsung is also blaming this service and I am stuck between the two. Very disappointing.

Scam company which forces unnecessary gas refill

Scam company which forces unnecessary gas refills. I only booked for an AC service and the technician was like I'm not allowed to continue AC service if Gas is low. What is the relation between the two? AC coolants last 5-10 years, but these technicians are always keen to scam us.

Ugly Truth about Urban Company’s Native M2 Water Purifier – Episode 1

This is a serious health concern, not just a bad experience.

I purchased the Native M2 in Feb 2024. For ~2 years, it worked fine—TDS below 100, water quality stable.

The moment I renewed the plan and installed the “Refresh Kit”, everything collapsed:

TDS shot up to 400–500+

Water quality deteriorated immediately

Since then, the RO membrane has been changed twice by Urban Company technicians, yet the TDS remains high.

So what exactly is being fixed?

Urban Company claims this purifier can handle very high input TDS and deliver safe output. But in reality, performance is failing right after their own servicing.

This is not a minor issue.

My father is a last-stage liver cirrhosis patient, and both my parents are elderly. Water quality here is non-negotiable.

And yet, the response from Urban Company has been:

No direct customer support access

Endless chatbot loops repeating the same script

No escalation despite clearly stating medical urgency

And shockingly, I was told: “Even 1000 TDS is absolutely fine and healthy.”

This is not just insensitive—it is deeply irresponsible.

What makes this worse is that the technicians themselves appear unsupported and helpless, repeatedly trying fixes without resolution, clearly lacking backing or direction from management.

This creates a complete breakdown of trust:

Product promises vs reality

Service vs accountability

Technology vs transparency

There are also multiple similar complaints from other users—high output TDS, questionable app readings, and resistance in service escalation.

This raises serious concerns:

Is the Refresh Kit degrading performance?

Is the system masking real water quality issues?

Is customer support designed to delay rather than resolve?

Right now, this feels like a system where once payment is done, the customer is left to figure things out alone.

Urban Company needs to urgently:

Audit post-service performance

Review customer handling and escalation

Take accountability for what is clearly going wrong

This is directly linked to consumer health and safety.

If others are facing similar issues, it’s time to speak up.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. There are water marks all over the glass surfaces. The chrome fittings were left uncleaned. Hidden spots weren’t touched.
To be honest, it was just a clean but not a deep clean for which I paid close to ₹800.

It has happened 2nd time in row with urban company that the professional didn’t perform the job properly.
1st time it was Mr Mithun Kumar who didn’t clean it well and when I asked him to clean it properly he kept cribbing about getting late and his behaviour became unprofessional
2nd time it was Mr Arun Kumar, again, he didn’t clean it properly and it was my elderly parents at home so he took advantage of them as they couldn’t spot the problems well.

The urban company keeps saying same line “Next time we will make sure the service is done well”

I would look to switch to another provider or local cleaner after this experience

We had book a booking for cockroch cleaning, but we dint receive any phone call from UC and No one turned back for the booked service and when we called customer care they dint give any solution and they disconnected the call use a useless service and worst customer service and they are not reachable at all, Request you guys don't use UC and horrible people ever
