Ive been hiring a unit at Shurgard for over 4 years now. The staff have ALWAYS made me feel welcome and a valued customer.
They can always answer questions i have relating to my account and payments and always go that extra mile when im a couple of minutes later than i should be.
12 out of 10 for cleanliness, assistance and patience from them all.

I contacted Shurgard Hemel with what I thought was an unusual request and was unsure that they would be able to help me. Fortunately for me it was Laura that I contacted and after discussing my needs with her she was very helpful and personable when I met her. Laura was extremely knowledgeable and able to explain in great detail what I needed to do. She was very polite and a pleasure to do business with. I am so grateful that she was able to help me with my storage needs while I am traveling in the UK. I will definitely be recommending Shurgard to my friends thanks to Laura.

Sorina was incredibly friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Thanks to her excellent service, I've decided to come back in about two months to rent a unit. I have used Shurgard self storage Hemel Hempstead, for nearly four years and not looking to stop my contract anytime soon especially because they are intentional about proffering solutions.
The units are tidy with good parking spaces in front and behind the building.
Sorina is always hands on with my requests and intentional about sending me notification when I have deliveries.
I recommend this storage to anyone needing one in the area.

With many Storage Units in the area there is plenty of choice and I’ve used several of them. Shurgard have been the perfect home as their rates are competitive and the environment has a safe feel. Above all, the staffing team are a real bonus as they can’t do enough for you and engage with you as soon as you enter the building.

The reason we like this storage unit can be summed up easily with two reasons, the staff and the location. We run a small business and we have clients who bring items to us and the unit is so easy to find and very convenient for the M1 and M25.

I rented a unit here for some time and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience.
The whole place is exceptionally clean – both outside and inside. You can really see that everything is well looked after and properly maintained. It always felt safe, organised and professional.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. The service is not only very friendly, but above all extremely professional. They genuinely care about their customers and are much more attentive and helpful than in other storage places I’ve used before. Anytime I needed assistance, they were quick to respond and always willing to help.
Compared to other self storage options in Hemel, this is definitely the best choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and well-managed storage facility.
