Amazing Service, Right from the start
Right from the start, Simpsons has been so supportive and helpful. John provided all the information we needed and the office team were also so helpful as an international move to N.Z. is quite stressful. Scott and his team were exceptional on the days that the house was packed up and nothing was too much trouble. We really did just sit back and the Simpsons team did all the hard work both admin and physical. We cant thank them all enough for the help they have given us.

We had an excellent experience with Simpsons International Removals when moving from the UK to Spain. Moving abroad is naturally a stressful process, but they made everything feel incredibly simple and straightforward from start to finish.
Everyone we dealt with was professional, helpful and friendly, but a particular mention has to go to Hayley M, who was fantastic throughout. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and always happy to help us through each step of the process, answering our questions and making sure we knew exactly what was happening.
Moving countries can feel overwhelming, but Simpsons took so much of that stress away and made the whole experience much easier than we expected. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone moving internationally. A huge thank you to Hayley and the whole team!

Amazing Absolutely fantastic service from start…
Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. The whole move was handled professionally, efficiently and with real care. The team were incredibly careful with all of our belongings, making sure everything was moved safely and without any damage.
The move itself went incredibly smoothly and much quicker than we expected, which made what could have been a very stressful day feel straightforward and hassle-free.
A special mention has to go to Hayley P, our Move Manager, who was absolutely fantastic. She kept everything organised, communicated brilliantly and made sure the whole process went smoothly from beginning to end.

Nice Staff, but Serious Damage and a Stressful Insurance Experience
The packers themselves were very good at their job, and the staff I dealt with were polite and pleasant. Unfortunately, that does not make up for what happened to my belongings.
My shipment ultimately did not go ahead because of the war in the Middle East, so my possessions were returned to me. When they came back, I was shocked by the number of damaged boxes and, more importantly, by the damage to some of the contents.
The insurance process was also extremely disappointing. Irreplaceable or sentimental items can apparently only be valued at second-hand prices, regardless of what they would actually cost or mean to you to replace. Even where I had paid to insure items for a higher amount, I found that the burden was still placed on me to prove the loss and value, involving a great deal of paperwork and repeated demands from the insurer. Some items were complete write-offs, yet I was still left significantly out of pocket.
My strongest advice is to be extremely careful when your belongings are returned or delivered. I allowed their team to tick off the numbered boxes themselves rather than personally checking every label against the inventory. That was my mistake, and I deeply regret it. I am now convinced that one or two boxes may be missing, but because I did not personally oversee the checking process, I have very little recourse.
There were other reasons for believing this. I had insured a painting that I never received. My dining table also appeared to be unaccounted for initially and seemed to come as a surprise to them, before eventually arriving in a separate delivery.
So, while the people who arrive at your home to pack and deliver are friendly and professional, my experience of what happens behind the scenes was very different. Between the damaged belongings, the uncertainty over missing items, and the stressful insurance claims process, I would not trust this company with my valuables again.
If you do use them, photograph everything, keep detailed records, personally check every numbered box at delivery, and do not assume that the insurance will leave you financially whole if something goes wrong.

We are, however, surprised by some of the points raised, particularly as we have no record of these concerns being brought to our attention and have not received similar reports from other clients affected during this period.
The disruption to shipping was caused by the conflict in the Middle East and the closure of the shipping route, which was completely outside of our control. Throughout this difficult period, our team worked tirelessly with the shipping lines to find alternative solutions and also offered discounted storage to minimise the impact on our clients.
There also appears to be some uncertainty around the delivery and return of your belongings, including the dining table which you state was eventually delivered separately. We would therefore genuinely welcome the opportunity to understand what happened.
If you could contact us directly with your shipment details and information regarding the items you believe were damaged or missing, we would be very happy to investigate this further.
We’re sorry that you feel disappointed, but we would appreciate the opportunity to properly establish the facts and address any outstanding concerns.

We needed to move a relatively small…
We needed to move a relatively small consignment of furniture to Spain. The whole process was excellent from beginning to end. Video call to assess price, prompt collection from my home by highly experienced team who wrapped, boxed and generally packaged the items expertly to save space. Within just a few weeks all was delivered to Spain in perfect condition. The way the UK side and the European side worked was seamless. Excellent delivery guys in Spain too. Can’t rate this highly enough. I thought the process would be very problematic but, to my amazement, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Thank you.
