The full experience was remarkable, a well layout and in-depth course which I will be adapting to my nursing course.

Great Course, Great Content, Great Trainer in Belinda...

Gave a very simple yet effective class on infant first aid. Unfortunately I had to use the Heimlich manoeuvre on my 1 year old a few months after this class how ether I acted quickly and effectively thanks to the confidence I would’ve built from this class.

Ben provided a thorough and enjoyable course, which left me confident should I need to employ any first aid moving forward.

The training was quite interesting and informative. The explanation was well detailed and the practical aspect has built my confidence

Very good and i did learned a lot

I remember this class clearly, because honestly I was absolutely appalled. I have a peanut and tree nut allergy I carry epipens for. During the class another parent asked about allergies. The person leading the class said that her SIL has a nut allergy. Her daughter has a child from a previous relationship and does not have any allergies. But her daughter had a child with her SIL, and he was the first person to hold the child and that child has allergies. To suggest to a first aid class that people can transfer allergies through touch or their babies are at risk from adults with allergies is ridiculous, negligent and fear mongering. First aid classes should be based purely in facts and advice on tackling emergencies. Absolutely not for your own personal experiences and opinions.
The slideshow with the actual advice was fine, so maybe this class with another tutor would be better.

Dean, the instructor, provided a well guided and practical based course. Would recommend this by far, having had several different course over the years.
It was clear that Dean found it important that those receiving the training would be able to put it into practice if ever finding themselves needing to.

We recently had St John’s Wales deliver a First Aid course for our staff and volunteers at Ystrad Mynach Boys and Girls Club, and the experience was excellent from start to finish.

The training was clear, practical, and delivered in a way that really kept everyone engaged. The trainer created a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, which made it easy for participants to ask questions and build confidence throughout the session. The balance between theory and hands-on practice was spot on, and everything was tailored well to the needs of our youth work setting.

Our staff and volunteers left feeling much more confident in their ability to respond in emergency situations, and the feedback from everyone on the course was overwhelmingly positive.

We’re really grateful for the professionalism and quality of delivery, and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with St John’s Wales again in the future. Highly recommended for any organisation looking for high-quality, practical first aid training.
