Not worth the hassle – very frustrating experience
I will not be buying from this website again.
Trying to verify my student status turned into a completely unnecessary and frustrating process. I study with the Open University, and unlike traditional universities, we do NOT have student email addresses.
Instead, we use a student portal – which I provided. I also submitted my enrolment email clearly showing my student ID, and even provided my course IDs (twice, as I’m enrolled in two courses this year).
Despite giving all the correct and valid documentation, it still wasn’t accepted. It’s clear there is no understanding or flexibility when it comes to different types of universities.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and a complete waste of time.

They say they delivery to your door but they don’t. They delivery to a UPS place and say it’s because you were not in…. Even when you are.

Expensive trainers have worn through on the sole with less than 6 months of wear. Don't waste your money, they look great but don't last for long at all.
Poor Quality Shoes
I bought my pair of Skechers walking shoes in 2024. As I intended to keep them for 'best' use, I have worn them only a few times since then, and this always around town, never for country walks. Despite this very limited use, the rear of the sole on the left shoe has already started to come away. In contrast, I have had a pair of walking shoes from a cheaper brand for my day to day use - including walks on difficult terrain - which have already lasted for several years.

I would give zero if I could. They delivered wrong shoes and now I have to take to a return point, get a refund and re-order to get the correct order, Really poor service and not happy customer at all.

Saturday 14/3/26 & was served by Kiera who was so very helpful & polite she found me the perfect trainers and I also bought a spray to make than waterproof.

Low quality, lasted six months.
Bought a pair of Skechers from a high street store in September 2025. Apparently they’re guaranteed for six months. Six months and one week(!) later, both soles developed deep splits.
They were comfortable and still look like new but… I won’t be buying anything else from this company — made as cheaply as possible, to last for the minimum amount of time. Avoid!

Great shopping experience at Sketchers of Oxford Circus, 263-265 Oxford Street. The staff team were fantastic, we were served by Paradise, who was very patient, helpful and very polite. We are both over 70 and not as fit anymore but she was so attentive. I would recommend 10 gold stars, thank you.
Excellent service
My husband and I both wanted to by shoes at the Westwood Cross branch. We spent a long time looking and trying different shoes on . The assistant named Marylin was extremely helpful and very patient. My husband particularly wanted shoes with laces and we all had to search because so many shoes are slip ons. Marylin was humorous and made the experience fun and enjoyable. We both found suitable shoes eventually and were very grateful for her excellent help.
Absolute joke of a delivery service
Absolute joke of a delivery service - paid for home delivery. UPS decided to deliver directly to a local convenience shop, zero attempt to deliver to my house. Disgusting service!
Skechers poor quality and expensive
I’m A 77 year old pensioner who has purchased Skechers for the last 15 years but a recent purchase via Amazon Skechers. The shoes supposed to offer support and provide a cushion to minimise impact when walking. After two months the shoes failed in every respect.
Subsequent protracted communication with Amazon and Skechers has been a complete failure with unrealistic demands and the acceptance of responsibility.
It’s my considered opinion these shoes were of poor quality and to loose the protection and support advertised is unacceptable. The replacement shoes would cost me £60 a price I can’t afford and Im not prepared to pay.
I’ve made a decision I will seek an alternative supplier and would advise all individuals looking to purchase Skechers shoes to think again.

No problems with shoes. Problem Is Skechers delivery sub-contractors. They only gave a day for delivery, not a narrower window. Then rather delivering next day they took the package to a shop miles away. No method of contacting Skechers other than email/chat. Then they offer reply in FIVE days. Useless. DON’T ORDER ON LINE

My husband bought a pair of Skechers at around £100, and hardly worn them, the sean near the sole had split, it was obvious they had hardly been worn, took them back to the Meadowhall branch where they were extremely rude, no customer service skills whatsoever, rudely told us, if you can’t prove you bought them within the last six months we won’t do anything, no advice on who to contact and absolutely no understanding!!!
We will not buy from Skechers again!!!
NEGLIGENT
Prior to this experience I used to trust the Sketchers brand, I now know this was a big mistake, from my experience Sketchers hold their customers in contempt.
I’ve been trying for nearly a year to resolve a significant loss of income and permanent scarring to my face falling a fall caused by Sketchers footwear.
This was ENTIRELY avoidable, Sketchers have been NEGLIGENT.
I’ve since found out the safety issues with this footwear had already been flagged to Sketchers on multiple occasions but they continued to sell
them.
When I contacted Sketchers about my injuries which included concussion, I spent months being ignored by them.
It took a visit to one of their local outlet shops, I’d already visited their main store in my town and been turned away, for anyone to listen.
The manger of the outlet shop couldn’t have been more helpful but she was not able to resolve the issue.
She did as much as she was able to which resulted in me being passed to their insurance company - Crawford & Company.
Sketchers clearly do not care about their customers as they palmed me off to a company with overwhelmingly negative feedback, which I’ve “copied below”
This has also been my experience of this insurance company/loss adjuster.
I’ve gone back to Sketchers who’ve refused to help me futher stating that it is now with their insurers/loss adjuster.
The insurers/loss adjusters who are rude, patronising, incompetent and disinterested in resolving damages their focus being solely on minimising compensation.
Sketchers are STILL SELLING the footwear that caused my fall and injuries despite myself and others flagging the safety issue.

Fantastic Customer Service from Iwan
I visited the Skechers store in the Swansea Quadrant today and had a fantastic experience. I was served by Iwan, whose attention to detail was outstanding from the moment I walked through the door. Thanks to his superb assistance, I walked away with the perfect pair of slippers. Iwan is a credit to the company and truly went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed. Highly recommend this store for its excellent customer service
