My flight was canceled the airline didn't contact me we drove 2 hours only to the airport only to find out that the flight was canceled due to the snow storm. I called and spoke to Evelyn Jones and told her my situation and she helped me by getting me a new reservation for the next day. Evelyn did above and beyond she assure me that she would call back and she also sent an email with my e-tickets. Thank you so much for having such a great staff in your company.

I felt deceived by the way this company does business:
I found this company, Smartcheapfares, with an intent search for low price airfare. I have done a similar search many times and found good fares with reputable companies. I purchased a ticket with an airline I wanted for $254 thinking that I would be able to pay for baggages since this ticket did not include baggage. My ticket also said there were no refunds or changes allowed. Soon, I received a phone call to confirm my purchase only to discover I could not take or buy ANY luggage at all and that too take luggage would increase my ticket price to over $800. BUT, I was told, because I couldn't cancel without loosing my money, the agent would find me flights to and from my destination. Then I was told there would be an up-charge for this. I was placed on a 30 minute hold. Upon returning to the phone the agent told me he found a flight on one discount airline to my destination and a different discount airline for my return flight. I payed over $120 more to make these changes. My luggage costs were $55 more than I would have payed with my original ticket. The original amount of my ticket was used as what was called, "the base fare". Then the discount airline tickets were purchased additionally.
I was angered and frustrated because I felt caught in a web of deceit. I could either forfeit my original costs and start again (smartcheapfares would pocket the money), or take the new flight arrangements with the up-charge. I really felt I had walked into a scam. Yes, I did get the tickets THEY chose for me and was able to fly. But MY choice was taken away by deceit and I payed more money than I intended for my tickets. I returned last evening after a week long absence. I chose to wait until I returned form my trip to write this review because I did not want my flights sabotaged for any reason from this review.
I feel these business practices were deceptive and tricked me into paying more than I intended.
I will not use this company again!
