We used this when we started solids with our baby and loved the easy use and recommendations. When we needed to contact for support they were incredibly helpful and responded within hours.

I had the best experience with Solid Starts from the very beginning! The app was so absolutely incredible in helping me start to feed solids to my son, which I was very nervous about. It explained every step of the way and always had information on everything that I needed: from how to serve every food to what to do if my kids starts gagging or choking. Thank you so much for making something that I was so nervous about such a pleasant and rewarding experience!

The app helped a lot with how to serve foods to my babies and track allergens I have given them. The customer support is helpful.

Its a great tool to search for foods and see how to serve them to my baby but I expected more suggestions and ideas in the beginning when you have no idea where to start.

The app isn’t user friendly. Where everything is is very confusing. I heart foods but have no clue where they go after that. All I use it for now is to search things to see how to serve. Disappointed and will be canceling my subscription soon.

It’s honestly one of the best baby apps I have ever used. Most useful, most reassuring. I became more confident feeding my second baby. My first one is a great eater because of you and I look forward to implementing all these with my second baby now. Thank you again for all you do and for all the great information you provide.

Love this App so much! Has given us confidence for meal time! Takes all of the guessing out of it which is always appreciated for first time parents :)

Some food are not available such as Moringa and White Asparagus. Hoping it gets updated with these types of food as well :)

The app is just so clunky. It's especially bad when it comes to the day's foods/meal plans, logging allergens, "completing" allergens but the previous one doesn't go away or starting loading the next one after multiple attempts to change the meal plan. It's useful for instructions and directions, but once we make it through the allergens I'm going to uninstall.

I'm a pediatric SLP and feeding therapist and I still sought out support for introducing solids to our first baby. Solid Starts equips and helps me feel confident doing BLW.

Confusing to use

Unfortunately the app did not meet our expectations… The app itself is buggy and never works properly. As for the meal plans, they were nice at the beginning when everything was so new for us and made the introduction of solids easier. However, after 4 months the meal plan is just inadequate and we had to look into other resources - definitely didn’t worth subscribing for one year…

I like being able to log foods easily, so I can see what foods my baby has tried so far.

We used the app a lot when we first started solids, and it was very valuable then. It would be nice if it kept going with like fun ideas for foods to try. It’s mainly made for starting out though, and it’s super helpful with that! We recommend it!
