Had an intermittent issue with my boiler so got Solv out to get it sorted. Booked a 'repair' for over £80, the result of which was the engineer being confused as to what the issue was so just deciding that the pump needed replacing - even though it was working when he left. I noted the part number while he was out so could look up that the parts cost between £110 and £150 so then awaiting the quote to install I was expecting perhaps double that to add labour so £300 seemed reasonable to get it done - even if there was a doubt over the work actually being needed (I just wanted it off my plate). But no, the quote was £500 so really over the top add on costs just to fill their pockets. Not cool. I called them out on this and gave them the opportunity to fix it bit they simply ignored me. Terrible experience, they are not here to help you, they are here to take your money.

We are very happy with the service of out boiler delivered by Stuart George. He was professional, thorough and very helpful. He also gave us clear advice on how to run our heating system effectively and economically. The company had been recommended to us by a friend and we are very glad we followed his suggestion. Just came across one of your drivers who gave me a barrage of abuse on the Sydenham bypass and even put his window down and continued!! With this kind of person employed by your company I wouldn't go near it! Especially treating a woman this way all because I pulled into a feeder lane which was may I say nowhere near him! Absolutely disgusting behaviour

Good to have a reliable engineer who can do a callout to an apartment in the city centre. Problem was explained, options laid out for a resolution. Fix required a callback, but a temporary resolution put on place before parts arrived. Parts quote provided with the option to opt out. Fix in the end was put in quickly by a well experienced pair od professional engineers. Would recommend all round!

First time user of Solv. Booked gas boiler service on their website with no difficulties, selected a date and time that suited me, received confirmation, and was kept updated on when the engineer would call. Engineer was courteous, and efficient. Would use Solv. again.
