The experience was great because our tour guide Vivek was really good and professional in his approach. Sonal tours booking process was very professional too. Overall our whole experience with Sona tours was a very positive one.

Vivek our tour guide was helpful and calm when faced with difficult situations.
Friday evening hotel and restaurant were both excellent!
Saturday evening hotel was good, clean and breakfast was excellent. However the evening restaurant Bombay Palace meal was below standard, poor quality food and unhygienic conditions. I can elaborate if needed ! Are your restaurant not vetted before selecting ?
Also the coach journey’s were lengthy and we had a mixed ability group.
We were lucky as we all jelled in the group and had lots of fun on our long journeys on the coach.
I will think twice before I book another coach trip with Sona tours.

I went to tour to Brussels and Amsterdam had a brilliant experience travelling by myself. Vivek the tour guide was an amazing personality that we all loved. He helped everyone and there were few elderly people that were well looked after. It was a very enjoyable trip with lots of fun and laughter. Tulip farm is a must sea for garden lovers.

Fun group/ excellent driver and guide. They handled things in an admirable way. Graet tulip experience in the Kukenhof and family run experience. Did 10000 steps daily. reasonable hotels and meals but could be improved.

We’ve just returned from our Japan and South Korea tour and had an incredible experience.

Our tour guide, DJ, was outstanding. He brought great energy to the group, was patient and attentive, and made sure everyone felt looked after throughout. The kimono dressing and sushi-making experiences were a lovely bonus and really memorable.

DJ truly enhanced the trip, and anyone who has him as a guide is in for a fantastic experience.

Sona Tour provided us with a fabulous experience on a beautiful Japan trip. We had a lovely group and our guide Digvijay (DJ) was brilliant. His knowledge was phenomenal, provided great entertainment throughout which made the tour memorable and existing.
On the whole a holiday with great memories

The tour was well organised. Covered a fair number of interesting places. Although it felt a bit hectic on occasions but the balance was right between covering the places and having rest. Our tour manager Ajay Shah made the the tour interesting. His firm bur friendly manners made the tour a success.

Tour was well managed by tour guide DV Rathod.He was well conversant with culture of Japan and S.Korea.Everthing went with a breeze which makes a difference.

We had a great time and enjoyed the tour especially with Digvijay Rathod. He had great and unbelievably vast knowledge of Japan's history.

We have just returned from our Japan/South Korea tour.
Had a wonderful time, excursions were amazing and the whole trip went smoothly.
Only thing I would say is the food became a little repetitive sometimes.

Our Tour Guide DJ was fantastic. He made the whole trip enjoyable and fun. He was calm, patient and looked after everyone. The Kimono dressing and Sushi making were a great surprise !!
DJ was definitely an asset to this trip and anyone who has him as a Tour Guide will definitely have a great time.

I can’t fault the tour guide DJ, who was great. but Sona themselves as shambles. terrible communication, lies, overpriced for such a short trip to Japan (10 days total, marketed as 13). I’ll never be using Rita or Sona again.

We have just returned from a Group Tour of Greece (Athens, Mykonos and Santorini) with Sona Tours. our Tour Guide Vivek was very friendly. This trip was well organised with the local guides who gave us a lot of information about the history and culture of the country.

I recently returned from a 10-day tour of Egypt with Sona Tours, and once again I had the pleasure of having Vivek as my guide. This was actually my second time touring with him, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Sona Tours organised everything beautifully from the detailed itinerary to smooth travel arrangements and comfortable hotels. The trip was well-paced, covering the must-see highlights while still giving us time to relax and enjoy ourselves. Traveling with Sona Tours takes away the stress of planning and lets you truly immerse yourself in the experience.

Vivek is knowledgeable, approachable, and always goes the extra mile to ensure everyone feels comfortable and included. A highlight for me was when he accompanied me on a water sports ride after my travel companion wasn’t feeling brave enough to join. That small gesture showed how much he genuinely cares about his guests enjoying every part of their trip.

I would highly recommend Sona Tours for anyone looking for a memorable, well-organised, and enjoyable holiday.

Vivek was guiding us very well. Sona Tours is a great tour company to travel with. Been on tour with this company many times. Feel Very safe with them. Hotels, food and transport all excellent.

The food, service and the owners @ the Indian Restaurant( India Gate ) for 3 days was absolutely poor. Despite trying to order something different ( Willing to pay for the change ) was not actioned at all and despite being told the changed dish shall come, it never came. Total lack of communication.
The Washroom facilities in the Restaurant was very poor and dirty.
On an understanding that Sona Tours would hopefully cater for Indian food for most of the days, but that was not the case.
Took an upgraded flight ( Egypt Air ). The Air hostess could not understand English, served Non Veg to the Veg eaters despite having booked strictly a Hindu Veg meal on both inward and outward journeys, and to sum it up the seats / sound systems did not work to a comfort level.
The Tour escort for the trip from London to be with us unfortunately was a absolute fresher ( Though a very nice willing to assist in whatever manner he could help with a smile )
The Local Tour guide ( Izzat ) was a fantastic knowledgeable person.
The stay in the Nile cruise boat as pretty much a 3 star and the service at the top deck was handled b only 1 server.

We have travelled with Sona Tours quit few times. Reliable people. Experience tour Guide. Value for money. Food provided as per requirement. Special for vegetarian. This trip of Egypt we enjoyed with good crowd. Quit good couches.

The tour covered all the main sites of interest in Scotland. Staff helped me answer all queries before booking. The online form was not easy to navigate but staff were able to assist with solutions via phone/ email The coach was clean, comfortable with a pleasant driver who drove with care. The hotel was very clean, comfortable mattress and adequate, with basic amenities, and reception gave us shower caps when requested. The distance from coach parking to the bedrooms for less abled people with luggage was a bit of a challenge - it was fine on the other days. The hotel breakfast was OK, had alternative options, just missing any fresh fruit. The tour operator attempted to have food that met dietary requirements and the guide helped follow that up, even if it was one dish that met those needs. It’s an area that could be improved. I did suffer from food poisoning after one evening meal and one breakfast, but it’s not possible to pinpoint what could have caused this.

Vivek the tour guide deserves a 5 star rating for how he managed the trip, cared for the group and encouraged everyone to mingle with each other. So the time on the coach was filled with fun and laughter for those who wished to participate. Thanks to the team for an enjoyable trip to Scotland. I would happily use this company again as it's a very comfortable way for older people to experience a country.
