The interface was easy to understand and use. I did have to do some research to figure out the exact formatting of the song ID which I had to look up on ascap. I liked being able to copy over my info from the previous song. the song search was very quick.

Solid experience so far
I’m an independent electronic artist and started using Songtrust to keep my compositions organized and paid. The dashboard is straightforward. I can register songs, add splits, and link them to the recordings without guessing. My first payouts arrived when expected and the statements lined up with what I see elsewhere. I opened two tickets about matches in smaller territories and support replied with clear steps and timelines. It isn’t instant and you do a bit of setup, but once it’s running it saves a lot of admin time. If you release with labels and also on your own, this has been a practical, low-stress way to handle publishing.

Non-responsive customer service
Website and payout went well, but customer service seems nonexistent. I have now been waiting for over 5 months for an answer to my question. I only got a standard email response that usually within 8 days it is resolved.
I don't know how to get their attention.

It was thanks the CHAT GPT that I even knew about Songtrust and the steps involved with triple logging of a new song APRA/AMCOS, Distrokid and Songtrust.
Waiting for the T-number was a real pain but I understand why that happened.

I really enjoy the service overall
I really enjoy the service overall, and I’m excited to share that I’m actually getting paid for it! However, one major drawback is the lack of a call center to address questions that require immediate attention. The process of submitting inquiries and waiting for replies through the message center is often frustrating and time-consuming, as the response times can be significantly delayed. It would be much more efficient and satisfying to have direct access to customer support for urgent issues.
