My booking experience was awesome! My travel consultant was very helpful and patient with questions. He was prompt at getting back to me, and a very pleasant person to talk with.

Our trip is in the near future. Our experience during the booking process has been exemplary. Marty has been very attentive and sympathetic to our questions, concerns, requests. Once we take our trip, I'll be back to review it!

The entire booking process has been straight forward and smooth. Jon has offered great advice and been very responsive and helpful.

I booked my Trip to South America Travels to Argentina and Brazil, Sinan is amazing and wonderful person, he booked everything so well that we had no problems with the entire Itinerary. If you are planning on going to South America, I would recommend you book with Sinan.

My sister and I first travelled with SouthAmerica.travel in Nov 2018 for our trip to Patagonia and Easter Island. We were impressed by the professionalism of the tour consultant, Mr. Thomas Manchester in putting our itinerary together and the knowledge of the guides who were assigned to us. So, this year when friends suggested a trip to Bolivia and Colombia, SouthAmerica.travel naturally was the obvious choice.
We were very happy with the itinerary that Thomas put together for Bolivia and Colombia. However, a few days before our impending trip to Bolivia, Thomas advised of a situation in Bolivia and prudently suggested a change in itinerary as a matter of precaution. He suggested a conference call and impressed the group by calling us at precisely the time we had decided on. A revised itinerary to Northern Peru instead of Bolivia was confirmed and Thomas seamlessly put it together without any problem or additional revisions on our part.
SouthAmerica.travel has yet again delighted my sister and I, and have found new satisfied members in our travel companions – we’re the 5 amigos who wish to thank SouthAmerica.travel for a wonderful and memorable experience. At all destinations we had our guides waiting for us so we never once felt lost or apprehensive. Kudos to the excellent drivers throughout our trip who made our journey safe and comfortable at all times. The guides were most professional, and although we lamented missing out on the Uyuni Salt Flats, the sights in Peru and Colombia, explained and enthused very knowledgeably by them more than made up for it.
To quote one of our fellow travellers on his take of the trip:
“1. Though the destinations were stupendous, they have proven a bit too ambitious for us to appreciate their splendour… eg Gocta, Quelap, Sillustani…? Even flight over nazca proves challenging? Limiting factors were fitness, motion and altitude sickness that can afflict us all.
2. The guides and hotels were fine and duly appreciated and rewarded.
3. Certain treks may not be entirely safe for average travellers due to its demanding exertions and remoteness from available assistance and medical attentions if needed. Also some relics may need support and strengthening to be safe for visitors.
All in all, we agree it was a most enjoyable trip just as you all mentioned and we must thank SouthAmerica.travel for it, especially Thomas…... one for all and all for one… The Five Amigos!”

In Lima, Peru:
Our very first guide Jose Carlos Huamani, who made our initial experience in Lima most comfortable and unforgettable. Also, for helping us talk to counter staff to expedite/secure Latam seats after Avianca cancelled the flight on us.
The waiter, Juan Huavnan at La Reserva, San Agustin Paracas Hotel who went out of his way to make sure we understood what we were ordering and shared fun times with us.
In Colombia:
Claudia, who introduced us to Tayrona National Park, for her professionalism; most hazardous trek what with caiman underfoot but Claudia made the pace very manageable and we enjoyed the vastness of the park, for her care and kindness when meeting with the indigenous tribe members whom she was acquainted with, and generally getting us out of the forest into breathtaking views of the Caribbean. She also knew of short cuts and how to complete the trek without any mishap.
Nicholas Pineda who took the cable car ride up Monseratte with us, explaining all about the Citadel and its neighbour, Guadalupe. Nicholas was exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the Botero Museum and we gleaned much from him during our tour of the museum. Special thanks to Nicholas for staying several hours throughout our long queue at Air France counter. He only left us after ensuring we got our boarding passes and made it to the gates in the nick of time.
All in all, a truly amazing holiday. Looking back and browsing through the photos we’ve taken, it dawned on us that we just had a beautiful dream that is almost unreal.

In December, my wife, my brother and his wife, completed a 15-day trip to Argentina and Chile. The itinerary and all arrangements were made by Conrad McGarvey, travel consultant with SouthAmerica.travel. I began conferring with him about a visit to Patagonia in March. After talking with me about what type of trip we would like to have and how much time we had to spend, he developed a preliminary itinerary that was very attractive. Over the next few months, as I suggested a few minor changes, he always responded immediately and incorporated the final plan to suit our requests. In doing so, he was always gracious by saying that it was our trip and that he was there to make it exactly like we wanted. I have never experienced prompt replies to any message as I have from Conrad. Needless to say, everything about the trip – flights, transports, tours, and guides were excellent and always on time. I highly recommend the service we received from Conrad and SouthAmerica.travel. All of our travel including visits to Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, ship through the Beagle Channel, Cape Horn, and Magellan Strait, Torres del Paine National Park, and Santiago was outstanding.

Christina is excellent, efficient and so it's easy to feel secure when working with her - even by emails only. Paying via the link is so easy and also efficient. No glitches whatsoever. We are looking forward to our trip. Thank you.

Clare organised a comprehensive tour of Peru, Argentina and Brazil for myself and my wife over a period of 3 weeks. The locations,hotels and guides were, without exception,all very good and the timetable and internal travel arrangements worked really well. It was reassuring to have South America Travel behind us and they fixed two minor glitches, which were not their fault, straight away so no lack of enjoyment at all. If we return to South America we would certainly book through them.
