​If you make a booking through Spacer, you are protected by our money back guarantee. For all our valued Spacer Renters, you will be reimbursed in full if:

  • The issue is raised within 24 hours of the booking confirmation, and
  • The space is unavailable at the date and time of your agreement, or
  • There is a significant error in address or description of space, or
  • Your vehicle cannot fit in the space

Please note:

  • Removalist fees, alternative parking or transport costs, towing charges and any fines are not included as part of the money back guarantee
  • Issues not included above, including change of mind, are not covered by our money back guarantee
  • Your issue will be confirmed with the Host

I received excellent and prompt response from host and Spacer.com. My issue was quickly rectified even after hours. I was the cause of the issue, if I had only read ad properly. 😁

Cancellation of my booking within the 24 hour period

Cancellation of my booking within the 24-hour change of mind was initially rejected, but eventually resolved, and a full refund was issued. Thank you Sarah for sorting this out.

Beware

You unfortunately are unimpressive, some would in fact say that you are rip off merchants. Customers should be aware. There is no provision for customers to Accept the offer of a booking once an Application has been made, so it is all one way traffic as you already have the credit card details required to make an Application and ii) If Spacer provides a cancellation period, please adhere to it and not make it impossible to cancel within the Money Back Guarantee Period by blocking the calendar and making the Chat unhelpful.

While we aim to keep the system transparent and user-friendly, the calendar was blocked at the time you triggered the cancellation because the system automatically identified that your request fell outside the Money Back Guarantee policy. We absolutely want to honor the Money Back Guarantee wherever applicable.

Account closed without explanation

I went to create an ad to lease some spare space, but, my ad was cancelled and my account was closed without an explanation. When I called Sapcer.com.au customer service I was told on the phone "it was a business decision" I asked for a further explanation on what that meant and if I breached their Terms and conditions, however, the customer service representative wasn't able to provide me with any explanation and repeated "it was a business decision". Don't waste your time with Spacer.com.au
