The PC i received was in excellent…
The PC i received was in excellent condition although had not been updated with the software updates the website was hard to navigate and was slightly clunky and I had to have 3 attempts at payment.

Quality devices and great price
Have comes across Stone when I worked in education but first time I used them for personal use. Bought my mum a refurb PC. Got a good spec PC for a low price which runs windows 11. Delivery was quick and PC is great. Was so impressed that I then bought a laptop for my wife. Again, really quick delivery, great spec device which will last years. Definitely would use Stone refurb again.

Excellent service, truthful condition
Ordered a Dell 7420 in like new condition, with a hard drive update. It came two days later, in like new condition. Battery condition excellent. Great value, quick service, great laptop. I was doubtful at first as the website is a little poor in places and some sections are empty of devices for sale, but I'll look here first for devices before anywhere else from now on.

Refurbished PC arrived 1 day earlier than estimated. The PC looked as new and was set up with no problems at all. I opted for an upgrade to the hard drive and the memory - very easy to do when ordering.

Not the computer I paid for
The computer I bought and paid for was no longer available and a refund offered. I said I wanted a computer not a refund and they found on of a higher spec but less storage. They relented and added the extra SSD ram. I noted that the replacement was grade c and not grade a as originally purchased. To avoid any further delay I accepted this but find the box spoiled with white paint. I am awaiting a computer expert to come and set up and transfer all my files.

Your original order did not pass our pre-dispatch quality checks, which we carry out to ensure every unit meets our standards before shipping.
As part of our normal process, we offered you the option to cancel the order or choose a new system, giving you the opportunity to select an alternative. However, you preferred not to spend more, so we provided a few suitable replacement options, including a higher-specification model, and we also added extra SSD storage at no additional cost as a goodwill gesture.
We explained that the replacement would be a Grade C unit, which may include cosmetic marks, and you agreed to proceed so the order could be completed quickly.
We weren’t aware of any significant paint marks on the case, as this was not raised before leaving your review, but we would be happy to take a look if you’d like us to.
We appreciate your understanding and hope the upgraded system performs well once your setup is complete.
A good place to buy re-furb'ed kit
This is the second time I have bought a PC from here. Easy enough to order items. If you have issues they will respond promptly. My kit looks like new and comes with 1 year warranty.

Some hiccups but we got there in the end.
Some troubles with delivery, eventually sorted
I selected fast track delivery - 1-2 days - only to find out that my purchase hadn't been picked up, and would be another day (I was not due to be at home that day). Down to the courier, although that delivery option was advertised as an option on the StoneRefurb website.
It must be said, StoneRefurb staff were very good in responding to me and keeping tabs to make sure the order eventually go to me.
The product itself was good quality and as advertised.

Excellent company, would buy again
I recently purchased a refurbished laptop from Stone Refurb, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The laptop arrived in just 2 days, which was much quicker than I expected. It was extremely well packaged and in great condition — you’d barely know it was refurbished.
I had a couple of follow-up questions after my purchase, so I contacted customer support via email. I was really impressed by how quickly and professionally the customer service team responded. They were friendly, helpful, and clearly cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase.

Delayed order fulfilment and faulty PC
Delayed order fulfilment and the PC was dispatched with a faulty cooling fan, and it sounded like it would grenade within a few minutes of use. Very difficult to sort out the return. This is a shame, as I have used them extensively in the past and was very pleased with the service and products. I would not now recommend them as a supplier.

Hi Robert, After reviewing your case, I can see that your order was actually dispatched on time — it was placed on a Saturday and dispatched two days later, with delivery made promptly thereafter. The issue arose during the return process.
Your initial contact was made with our Technical Support team, who handle troubleshooting and diagnostics only. As they don’t process returns, the request took a little longer to resolve. Once your enquiry was passed to our Sales team, they arranged the return within the same day.
I completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially given your long history with us. While the delay was due to the return request being directed to the wrong department, I sincerely apologise for any confusion and inconvenience caused.
We’re also sorry that the unit did not meet expectations. Once it’s received back, it will be fully inspected to confirm the fault and ensure the issue is properly addressed.
