Failed to follow Record Store Day rules.
Went on Record Store Day (RSD) and this place completely ignored the rules. RSD is supposed to be first-come, first-served with no holding or reserving exclusives. Streetlight Records did the opposite. They set up private appointments before the event so people could stroll in at opening and grab everything, while the folks who waited in line for hours got leftovers. It also looked like they were doing backdoor deals before opening—cars pulling up in the parking lot of the store and employees walking items out. Shady and disrespectful to actual RSD customers. To top it off, the worker was rude to us simply because we followed the rules instead of signing up for their workaround system. (This was at the San José, California, location.)
