I purchased a StairMaster 4G from StrengthX in May 2026 for £3,500.

Before purchasing, StrengthX confirmed that the machine came with the full StairMaster manufacturer’s warranty, which was an important factor in my decision to purchase from them.

Unfortunately, after relatively little use, the machine developed a noticeable judder and vibration with every step with the machine audibly vibrating and shaking.

I contacted Core Health & Fitness regarding the issue , but was subsequently advised that the StairMaster 4G isn’t even covered under their current manufacturer warranty arrangements.

This is extremely concerning because it directly conflicts with the warranty information StrengthX confirmed to me before I purchased the machine.

I’ve subsequently contacted StrengthX seven times and sent several emails, but have received no response.

I’m now left with a £3,500 machine that has developed a fault and which I’m reluctant to use, particularly given the uncertainty around the warranty and the lack of after-sales support.

I have no confidence that the machine has the warranty coverage I was told it had and that I will receive proper support if another problem occurs in the future.

I feel that I have been sold the equipment on a false premise regarding the warranty coverage, and I’m extremely disappointed that despite spending £3,500 and making repeated attempts to contact StrengthX, I have been unable to get a response.

I hope StrengthX will now respond and take ownership of the situation.

Delivery took over a month to come waiting time was ridiculous

Ordered a bench, no communication and nothing received, tried emailing all email addresses on their website and calling multiple times, nobody replies or answers the phone, impossible to speak to someone, had to start a chargeback with my bank. Avoid!

I felt like it took forever for the order to arrive considering it's a tiny part and was dispatched in the same country as me. I think the order speeds should get some improvements.

Excellent customer service from discussing my requirements, to placing the order and talking me through build and installation.

Good service and thank you to the delivery driver who put a lot of effort in getting the equipment into place due to difficulties with the access.

Great price and quality

Ordered the Primal Hiit bench. Pleased with the service

Ordered 8 days ago, no contact at all after first order confirmation. Messaged them on mail and no answer. A business is built on customer service, but if no contact after ordering and taking my money, gives a massive indication as to how the company views their customers!

I ordered the 32kg kettlebell and they (Strengthx) cancelled the order a day after placing the order. I have not received any money back and it just says the order is cancelled. I emailed the sales email and I still do not have any response. This may as well be a scam for all I know. Hope to receive a response and my money back then I can update this review but till then I'm not sure why it's taking so long to give money back or respond to an email.

UPDATE: Michael gave a call a couple of days ago assuring he will sort out the issue and as promised a refund was made into my account yesterday. So, what id advise to others is if you don't get a response through email, just give them a ring and they'll be willing to help. They are a family run business which is why you gotta cut them some slack when responding as they're not a large organisation - where responses are more quick due to them having a dedicated team for customer issues. All in all, really friendly and helpful. Wish them the best of luck in their business.
