Jamie Bentley was on hand to help me increase my sun life 50’s plan. He was very calm and professional asking what I wanted to increase it to and explaining what returns I could expect from the revised figures. He wasn’t at all pushy or ‘salesy’ and could not have been more helpful. Since the phone call he has contacted my husband to confirm Paul’s acceptance (as we have a contract each and I wanted to increase both) and sorted all correspondence and paperwork. Very, very bad customer service trid sorting an issue out with my policy and kept getting told by young idiots not their problem basically but it came to extend. I told them to stick the policies. If I could give no stars then that is what I would give. My husband died on 26/2/26 and I have still not received a payment in respect of his two life insurance policies. Each time I ring I am getting told different things and next week is my husbands funeral and still no payment

My mum died 1 month ago and ive given all the revelent information in and although i was told it would take 5 days to process i still havent recieved a penny. My mum paid in for 26 years and now im having to borrow money to pay for the funeral,its such a stressful time and sunlife are making it worse im at breaking point. Beware when taking out this policy they do not care when your loved ones pass away.
