Had Michael come out today to remap my Volvo V40.
Very competent and polite.
This is the 6th vehicle I’ve had remapped from Superchips and will continue to use their services.
I’ve never had a problem at all and built trust in the brand & services.

Excellent pre-appointment communication and Michael arrived perfectly on time. The work was done quickly and professionally and it's made a big positive difference to the car.

I had SC come and do a stage one engine ECU flash only. Their operative Tom changed the date but with plenty of notice and flexibility. The work was done on a 2019 MB C300 Cab with 30k on the clock. The difference was remarkable! The engine was more flexible the changes seemed smoother and power and torque improvement in line with claims. It really shown in sport plus mode. Tom was polite, professional and the kit and van well presented. I did agree to a gearbox re map but there seemed to be some tech confusion about the location of the ECU and his hardware for an OBD solution showed some corruption so I am waiting on a way forward on that.

Had been debating a remap for a few years , but all the time there was only one company , I was going to use , had the re mapping done on my 1litre focus ecoboost, by ashley , was done professionally, would highly recommend, superchips

Absolutely brilliant experience with Daryl from Superchips. He arrived on time, was professional, and explained everything clearly before getting started. The remap process was smooth and efficient, and Daryl made sure I was fully informed throughout.

After the tune, I took the car for a test drive myself and the difference was immediate. Throttle response is sharper, the torque is stronger across the rev range, and it just feels like a completely different car. The power delivery is smooth and confident, exactly what I was hoping for.

Daryl clearly knows what he’s doing. Friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful of the car. Couldn’t have asked for a better service. Highly recommended.

Had Micheal come and do my remap and was absolutely amazing and super helpful. Took the car on a 200 mile round trip the following evening and had a grin from ear to ear. The difference it made was incredible. Nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend!

Don't go near these cowboys. I had the same booking time off work to have a remap of Focus ST. Only to have some un-professional sounding bloke telling me he had to cancel that booking. If i hadn't already paid for the remap in full I would of cancelled then as I had a 6th sense then these were cowboys. Anyway eventually got car re mapped (after having to book yet more time off work) which had done just over 30k odd miles and a usual bullet proof Ford engine no issues up until then. However once they got their hands on it all that changed. I lost the exhaust pops and bangs and I didn't feel the usual smooth delivery of power. Then just after 29 miles of him touching my previously reliable 5 year old car one of the valve springs broke and the cylinder caught the valve and bent it. It cost me just over £1200 to eventually fix it. By the way just after the valve got bent ( which at the time I didnt know was the problem just that it misfired) I got the operative from superchips to reset the mapping back to how it was (yet more time off work). When I questioned him and the company about how this could of happened just 29 miles after he touched my car he and his company said it was nothing to do with them but was a coincidence that it happened ( to a barely 5 year old engine that had just done just over only 30k miles) like I said to them in a murder investigation there is no such thing as a coincidence and you murdered my engine. Dont go near this shambles its not worth it just keep the car as it is. Also the refund which I was entitled too after having remap reset during 2 week cooling off period wasn't paid instantly I had to chase them up twice to get that money back. I would also like to add that I've been driving many years now and have had many Ford's and other makes during that time including performance vehicles and old bangers of all makes. Not one of them has ever had a serious engine problem. I did have a blown head gasket once but that was on an old banger that had other issues so I ended up scrapping it, so none of them have had to have the engine stripped in anyway but after just 29 miles of having this remap all that changed but this must be a coincidence too? So I don't want them replying saying it was the way I drove it and I must of red lined it. NO! As I told the operative I was just driving it normally when this occurred and I certainly didn't red line it as I have NEVER done that to any vehicle I have owned.

MY REPLY TO YOUR EXCUSE.

Firstly I don't understand where you get your conclusion that the remap didn't cause the misfire because when you returned the car back to its normal state it still had the misfire. Returning the remap tune isn't going to fix a broken vavle spring / bent valve. Which shows me you haven't thoroughly investigated this issue. And I already pre empted you would blame me for causing the problem by over revving the car (basically thrashing it) which I find offensive. I'm not some inexperienced laddy boy racer I understand and treat my vehicles with 'mechanical sympathy'. Didn't I make it plain enough in my original complaint I didnt do so and have never done so to any car? With the Focus ST like all high performance vehicles you dont have to "over rev" to get good performance from it. Also I was told by the mechanic that repaired the vehicle that no car should be tuned without being put on a dyno rig as each car can have its own individual differences in all sorts of areas so you shouldn't stick an off the shelf bit of software on a car and expect it to perform on each car of its type the same without some tweaks on a dyno. He said by the sounds of what I was saying about the smoothness of the power delivery being lost and the mechanical failure after 29 miles that the remap for some reason was over torquing the car but without a dyno check that wouldnt be spotted. I will repeat it again seeing as it didn't sink in the 1st time I have driven many 100's of thousands of miles in my life without any incident to any engine on my own or works vehicles I have driven, yet after just 29 miles of your company touching my car I have the 1st ever major internal malfunction to a car engine happen to me.

Gave these guys a ring for some advice and honestly, left feeling pretty disappointed. Apparently they have a big problem understanding my accent. Never had that issue when I was head hunted by a FTSE 250 firm straight out of uni though.

I left a review before after last time I spoke to them, they were chatting about ECUs that don’t even exist for my car. Doesn’t fill you with confidence.

I found somewhere else to do the work who doen't mind about peoples accents.

Michael was bang on time and did a great job. He answered my questions and I left him to it. Before long, my car was performing beautifully, extra power and torque which brought the car alive and more enjoyable to drive. Just like it should have been from the manufacturer.

Initial issue with booking system but Michael sorted that as soon as he was involved. Really good service, polite, explained everything and didn’t exaggerate the expected return from the work. Very pleased with the results, will definitely use again.
