I recently visited this branch with my family, spent nearly £100, and had an incredibly hostile and uncomfortable shopping experience from the moment we walked through the doors.
Rather than basic customer service, we experienced immediate, unprovoked suspicion. A staff member named Kulpinder approached my daughter in a highly aggressive and rude manner while she was simply browsing. As we moved through the store, we were continuously shadowed and stared down by staff, treating a family shopping trip like a security threat. When my wife accidentally opened a product, the Store Manager rudely snapped at her rather than offering standard, polite assistance.
When we reached the till, there was no greeting, no "hello," and no basic courtesy—just a blunt demand asking if we had a bag. The contrast in treatment was glaring; we watched Kulpinder laughing and joking warmly with another customer, making the institutional profiling and selective hostility against my family undeniable.
To make matters worse, we discovered one of the items we purchased was actually used. When I approached the Store Manager to complain about the hostile environment and the contaminated product, he offered zero apologies and dismissively blamed his staff's behavior on "the weather." He then made the exchange process unnecessarily difficult, forcing us to buy a replacement product for £38 instead of simply rectifying their error on a 3-for-2 offer.
The management here is failing on every level of retail compliance, consumer rights, and basic human dignity. If you expect to be treated with respect, decency, and without automatic bias, avoid this specific branch. Title: Systemic Profiling: Customers Treated as Suspects by Default
Superdrug’s Head Office (specifically Honey) has reached out to me regarding my recent complaints about their Slough branches, and I have made my position absolutely clear: I am not looking for refunds, vouchers, or money. I am writing this to expose a deeply disturbing, systemic culture of profiling operating across these stores.
Today at the Farnham Road branch, I experienced this toxic culture first-hand. While a polite female staff member was kindly helping me locate a product, a male staff member of Indian origin, carrying a radio, approached with an aggressive, stern demeanour and demanded of his colleague, "What does he want?"
As I browsed, this same staff member physically bent down to shadow me and watch my every move. When I left, he continued to stare me down with a completely hostile, unsmiling attitude.
The core issue at Superdrug is that their local management culture dictates that honest people are profiled and treated as criminal suspects the moment they walk through the doors, right up until they reach the till to prove their innocence. The experience between entering the store and paying is humiliating, stressful, and entirely unacceptable.
This is an institutional failure that Superdrug's executive team needs to address immediately.

Late/missing delivery
Order with next day delivery. And two days later, I still have not received it. They use Evri which shows the parcel is out for delivery two days in a roll without any delivery attempt. It is a ready to drink shake order, I am not sure if I can return it when it finally arrives. I want to cancel the order now as I already get it elsewhere. She told me that I could have all 3 of the above done for a £19 bundle which I hadn’t been told before and introduced me to ‘brow fx’ a brow defining pencil which is great for my eyebrows as they grow unevenly.

Fantastic Birthday Treat from Sim
I went to the Trafford Centre this week and as it was my birthday i thought i'd treat myself and get my nails shaped and painted. I called into the superdrug store on the off chance that they could fit me in and i was lucky. Sim helped me choose what type of gel nail i was looking for and helped me choose what shape to file my nails into and i chose a beautiful red colour to match my skin tone. I would never have chosen such a bold colour by myself but i'm glad i let Sim guide me. My nails are absolutely beautiful and i am so pleased and will go back to Sim again to have them done as a treat again in the future. Sim was so lovely and knowledgeable and is an absolute asset to the Trafford Ce rntre store team. I even got a cheeky little hand massage as a birthday treat too. I left feeling great. Thank you Sim. I would like to express my disappointment, as I followed the collection instructions carefully and went to considerable effort to provide the sample. The amount of blood required for the finger-prick test was extremely difficult to obtain. Despite using four separate fingers, dealing with repeated clotting and bruising, and eventually filling the collection tube to the required level, the sample has still been deemed unusable.
Given the challenges involved in collecting such a large volume of blood via finger prick, I would be grateful if you could advise what may have caused the haemolysis and whether this is a common issue with this product.
Hot shower, exercised , 3 large glasses of water but absolutely no chance of filling such a large tube.
Tried again with a new test but decided to save my last finger from bruising as I nee trying to fill the tube again was probably going to result in the same outcome.
I would like to save £55 to anyone who is considering this test. Unless you bleed profusely this isn’t the test for you.

I never leave reviews but i have had the worst experience at the Superdrug bradford branch. I come to this store all the time and have never been treated like this. One of the staff members who i have now found to be named as Israh was very disrespectful i had asked for help on a makeup item but it was as if i had told her to do my whole shopping. Immediately huffed as i asked for help because i might have interrupted a very long conversation which who i presume was her friend as it was definitely not a conversation work related, very unprofessional to be doing at a job. Then went on to saying there was no stock when i asked if they had a product and walked off but i asked another colleague who goes by the name of Meghan very lovely by the way she had checked in the draws and found that there was plenty of the item. I then went back to her and said her colleague got it out for me and in her words “well i didn’t know there was any in stock” and shrugged her shoulders i then asked for her name and was ignored. I just left my items and walked out as i have never been serviced like this before. As i was on the way out i had heard her swear in her own language when she went back to conversing with whoever she was in the first place. I had left very upset as i am freshly post partum and had come to have some time for myself which was absolutely ruined.

Unfortunately there was only one product on the shelf and I ideally wanted two. It was clear stock had recently been delivered and shelves were being replenished.
Having approached Karon (yes with an O) and asked whether there was any of the product; she swiftly made it her mission to check. (Albeit there was a significant delivery)
Bless Karon, she was extremely friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond, (what used to be the norm but unfortunately not often found now) Karon must have checked through numerous sealed boxes and eventually located what was wanted.

Placed an order online,money taken from my account. Four days later the item I needed the most was suddenly out of stock and a refund would be sent in 5 days. Firstly,if out of stock, I should be told at the time,I could have gone elsewhere. It was apparently in stock when I placed the order,but taken 4 days to tell me! Then 5 days to refund. What a joke. Don't take my order if not in stock or my money! Useless! Will not use again!!
