If I can give -10 stars (read minus ten), I would give for just few reasons.
1. No transparency. You call someone and someone else visits you from totally a different agency.
2.. Total subcontracting with so many middle agencies. It’s like a cartel operating to capture the complete appliances repair/service business.
3. Due to the above, their labour charges are astronomically high because every one has a share in our money.
4. Totally unreachable - both the central one and the regional one.
5. There is no proper instructions to pay the money to them.
6. When I contracted the 1-800 number on the invoice, someone comes on the line and immediately thereafter gets disconnected and in a few seconds, a call from a totally unknown number comes to you.
7. For a moment, I thought the incoming call is not legit.
8. After lot of efforts, got the right connection and made the payment by Interac to their official email address.
9. CAUTION: never make the payment by credit card over phone. You don’t know who you are talking to.
10. I was wondering why the company is rated so high on Google (I also initially called them only because of their high rating). The secret was out after everything was over as there was a separate call from them almost pressing on me for a 5 star rating. If I do so, they would send back $15!!!! Whattt??? They are literally buying google reviews.
11. There was one more message after the offer of $15, but this time the refund offer was increased to 5 times of the original offer! Yes! $75 was made as an offer to give a 5 star rating on google! What a tactics to buy ratings! Please see the pictures of the texts attached in this review. First one was the offer of $15 made on Friday March 07, 2026. Second and third one were with the offer of $75 made on Monday March 09, 2026! Third and fourth one were the reminder texts sent yesterday Tuesday March 10, 2026! Now, I intend to block the number but want to see how many more reminders they would send me.
12. Please stay away from these people and source local repair people, preferably after visiting their office. Any call you make probably be associated with this big ring.

Next time, when you see all 5 star rating from million people, think twice, before you make that phone call to avoid falling prey and ending up spending two to three times than the normal expenses.

HORRIBLE company and communication & customer service is abysmal. Had someone come out and diagnose two issues with my LG microwave. Front facia on my extendavent was broken and needed replacement. Also, the latch inside the extendavent was broken so the extendavent didn't stay shut. Technician never pulled the extendavent from the oven and told me it'd be a couple weeks for the parts. So $99 and he's off. Two weeks later I'm trying to get in touch with their main number (uselss!) and texted him a few times. He finally replied and said wrong part was sent. So I had to emphasize to him about the two parts, not one! He said Feb 1, still only using the word 'part' not parts. Feb 3 no way to get in touch with these people. Finally called square trade by allstate and they were able to contact someone but essentially told me I needed to move onto another company. So the $99 was wasted and goes against my $400 allowance for Allstate. Seriously, don't use these folks. They are national and trying to get in contact with them is very challenging.

We are satisfied with the fast response from Superior Appliance Service. The technicians arrived on time and repaired our Samsung washing machine problems quickly and efficiently. They took the time to answer all our questions. We will definitely consider calling them again!

The owner or customer service manager Eugene called me following up on my 1 star review. After speaking with him I could tell his sole purpose was for me to remove my review and not to correct the issue I had. Seeing someone else’s review being promised if they took down their review they would be credited but didn’t end up seeing a credit made me stand ground and tell them no my review is legitimate and I feel like it was a scam and would rather keep my review up to warn others than just get a credit.

I shared with him I have a business of owning and renting properties so I look for reliable professional service and based on their reviews (5 stars) is why I called them in the first place. Which I found to be fake later on after seeing the red flag when getting an invoice for $240 when it was originally discussed when booking on the service it would be $129. That fee would be waived if I move forward with ordering the part. Which they wouldn’t honour even though the invoice says any repairs the diagnosis fee would be waived.

I ended the call when he kept going back on his word and knew nothing was going my to be done to resolve the issue.

I reported them to BBB for investigation since nothing seems legitimate. Not their reviews, having two business names, the dozen of phone numbers they operate under, fake address, email threats and anyone I spoke with said they’re the manager but wouldn’t answer my question or support.

Absolute SCAM! I have a fairly new Whirlpool fridge (4 years old) that suddenly stopped working on Friday afternoon. I have an appliance company I normally call, but it was late in day and I knew they would have no one available. I had a lot of groceries (like $400 I just did) that would quickly go bad, so I did a search for "same day service" and found these guys. It started out sounding legit when I called. Was told I would be charged $89 for the service call, and tech would tell me what's wrong and if I wanted to go ahead with repair, the $89 would be taken off the repair cost. Pretty standard, so I scheduled the service call.

Well, the repair guy showed up right at the end of the 5 hour window we had to wait - he told us first that the problem were some tubes at the back of fridge which were clogged, then later, he took apart my whole freezer, said it was one something about the water not flowing out properly (it was hard to understand as English was not his first language so his explanations were generally hard to follow...for example, he called fridge, "he"). He did not clearly tell us what the issue was, but tried to explain why it wasn't working - something about the tubes at back and water not evaporating. He then told us he did not have the parts, would go back to the company to see if they had the parts, and if they did, he would come back on Saturday to fix. I asked when he would give us a quote and he said maybe Saturday, that the quote comes from company. I reiterated we needed to know quickly, and he said okay.

He then proceeded to ask me how I would pay for the service call. When I indicated credit card, he said he had to take a picture of the back of the credit card (WTF?) as that's how the pay service worked. I immediately questioned that, and he said - "Don't worry, you get receipt now to email." With hesitancy, I paid, and I indeed got a receipt asap. Except on the receipt was a different company name "Appliance Repair Experts" than the one I called, "Superior Appliance Service." Of course, this didn't sit right with me. He then left my house, with my freezer portion of the fridge totally disassembled, and the fan at the back which was previously intact, half pulled out. I then started to wonder what service guy takes apart something, and leaves it taken apart while you "wait for a quote". I made it clear when he was "diagnosing" the issue that if the quote was more than the cost of a new fridge, I would much rather buy a new fridge. I asked if he had a ballpark figure, and he said, "Maybe 600, maybe 800 - I don't know until I see part." What if I didn't like the quote? Or was getting another quote? Was he going to come back and put back what he took apart if I told him I didn't want to work with them? It bugged me all night.

This morning, I woke up and by 10:30am, when no one had called me with a quote, I called back and started to question everything. I was told I would get a quote. I got a text saying Parts $600. Who texts a random quote like that!? I said I want a real quote, where I can see cost of parts and labour. I really started to worry at this point so I called back, and questioned why the receipt had a different name than the company I called. I was then told their head office is in Mississauga, but they have other offices everywhere. I asked where I was calling, as I had called the local number listed - he said the calls were routed to Mississauga. I of course decided to drive to their listed office on their website.

Well, guess what? NO OFFICE at the address listed! The units at the address they listed only go to unit 12 - they have theirs listed as Unit 13....which does NOT exist.

I called my credit card company immediately, and cancelled the card. I told them I was scammed.

I started scouring the web and found it weird that they had exactly 33 reviews on google, and every review was 5 star. NO company gets all 5 stars. I dug deeper and this popped up. At that point, I texted the tech back and said their company was not legit, and I was not proceeding with their services.

Sadly, when my boss asked if I got my fridge fixed, I came to find out, the exact same thing happened to him with exact same company....he was scammed for $200. Mine was $100. Go figure.

Now I am left with a fridge that I am not sure can be fixed....and $100 out of pocket. Do NOT utilize this company - you will be ripped off for sure.

Came out 5 days ago and quoted a price to replace a part on my fridge. Paid a deposit and was told they would be out on Tuesday , no one showed up. Called them for 2 days finally got someone to answer the phone and was told they would be here today. No one has shown up and can’t get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. Customers beware!!

My experience with this so called 'company' is terrible. My dryer has been sitting in the middle of my laundry room for over 3 weeks, waiting for the repairman to return with the part I PAID for. I have at least 5 different phone numbers to contact them, but the phone either cuts out, or they don't answer. I contacted them via online connection, using a different phone number and they phoned me immediately. When I explained my situation, the 'customer service' guy told me he would investigate and get back to me....which he didn't. I have emailed 2 different contacts with the company, with no response. After a few goes at this, I have given up. Doing a little more investigating, I discovered their physical address in Regina is actually a VACANT building. In Regina they go by the name, 'Superior Appliance Service of Regina', when in fact, this is just a cover name for 'Appliance Repair Expert'. I am sure that all of the positive reviews they have on various sites have been written by their team of fraudsters. If you have high blood pressure.....AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!

The shocking discovery that someone employed by Superior Appliance Service, Thomas Freer, engaged in fraudulent activities, demonstrates that peace of mind is the last thing you can expect from this company.

In a jaw-dropping phone conversation, I was informed that Thomas Freer had vanished with money stolen from the company and numerous clients. This revelation not only exposes their false advertising but also underscores their complete lack of control over their employees.

Despite my attempts to address the issue, the company has demonstrated a staggering level of incompetence and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. Benjamin Orier, the technician, shamelessly attempted to deflect blame, and efforts to reach management have proven futile.

I never anticipated leaving such a scathing review, but Superior Appliance Service has left me with no alternative. Even law enforcement suggested this course of action to protect potential victims.

Consider this review a public service announcement: steer clear of Superior Appliance Service. Their deceptive practices, lack of accountability, and overall incompetence make them a prime example of what a service provider should not be. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for honest and reliable service.

Beware of this company! Our experience with them has been nothing short of a scam.

After contacting them for an appliance repair, a technician claimed a special-order part costing $500 was needed for the fix. We paid promptly, but the company failed to deliver the promised service. Despite numerous calls, we were repeatedly transferred or hung up on, making it clear that this is a deliberate tactic to avoid accountability.

What makes this situation even more infuriating is that we sought a second opinion from a legitimate company. To our surprise, they fixed the issue by simply cleaning the pump, and the replacement part quoted by the scam company never needed to be replaced.

Our advice: steer clear of this company at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and potential financial loss.
