Absolutely appalling behaviour from this company in Melbourne. I ordered a Hayman Reece (about my 20th HR product) intermediate weight distribution kit at a heavily discounted price. Paid through Paypal. They obviously concluded they had made a mistake on pricing, and refunded my money through PayPal (I was never told. I went to email them to see where the product is, and discovered the refund. As it was done from their end via PayPal, I could not open a dispute. I was told to take it up with them directly (David v Goliath style). Given they didn't show common courtesy by contacting me to offer another solution, (to a product I now need by yesterday), why would I bother calling them. Childish excuses, and further waste of my time is all I'd expect. The place must be run by amateurs without ethics. At a time when every dollar counts, take your business elsewhere.
This is now a further review a few days after your response to my review; What a load of BS your response is. Too cowardice to admit, let alone own your mistake. A big company like yours saved $375 by not having the courage to own your mistake. Instead you quickly clean the mess up and hide it. Your response doesnt even mention this, so now I have to, just to let others know that the fish rots from the head down. No customer cares how you run your business internally (your lovely justification), only what we pay for and recieve in a timely manner. I've been majorly inconvenienced, $375 out of pocket, plus now I have further wear and tear on my vehicle. If you to were to 'now' handle this situation after the damage has been done, you would offer your customer compensation for loss, ie. The reverse of what you did to save your company money in the first place because of your stuff up, just in case you still don't 'get it'. To make it clear again, I'm $500 out of pocket. Maybe putting that money back in my account might be the best course of action for your company to 'prevent this happening again'.

We agree that clear communication is essential, and we failed to provide you with the courtesy of an explanation or alternative options before processing the cancellation through the payment gateway.

This will ensure that if an error occurs, our staff will contact the customer directly to discuss the matter before taking any unilateral action. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our operations.
