Sure Removals came recommended from a neighbour and I cannot fault the customer service before the move and on the day of collection or delivery.

However, a number of items were returned damaged. I promptly completed the claim forms provided by the company and we agreed a compensation amount to be paid. I have been chasing for this payment for months and funds have still not been sent by the company who now fail to answer my calls or emails.

I cannot recommend Sure Removals if they fail to make good on their promise to compensate me for the damage caused.

Be Warned this company does not seem to be insured and charges for services that are not provided.

We were moved by Sure Removals on 23 August 2024. Inspite of numerous reminders and phone calls they do not reply.

The move itself was a disaster. We paid extra for a lorry but on the day this was changed to three transits which would have been much cheaper. The third van arrived over an six and a half hour late coursing a problem with the purchaser. The majority of items to be moved were crammed into two vans by two operatives rather than 4.

After the move (which was completed much later than planned) we discovered a number of expensive items had been damaged.

We made an insurance claim which we submitted. After no response I called the Insurance company would said that "Sure are not insured".

After reporting this we were told it was an oversight but sent a claim form for the same insurer. Chasing e-mails have been ignored as have calls.

I would be happy to try to resolve this if someone would actually get in touch. Failing that I will take legal action and if appropriate look to have the company wound up

We loved Sure Removals. Great communication, friendly and fast service on the day, and their flexibility truly saved us - we found out about road closures that would have made the move impossible less than a day before the move, and they agreed to come at 6am on a weekend. I would recommend that you book some assistance with furniture and portable garment hangers to save your time packing/unpacking.

Used this company for two removals, a great service at an affordable price.. From booking with only a couple of days notice to day of removal, great team on the day made sure everything was put together on arrival at destination, very professional. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

They helped me with my move yesterday, April 22nd. They're a professional team, work quickly, and are careful with your belongings. I really liked that they were considerate of my baby and waited until the last minute to work on the room since she and I were there. They arrived on time and worked hard all morning without stopping. I recommend them 100%.

Sure removals helped with our move on Sunday 6th April . They were team of 4 with 2 big trucks to move from the 4 bed house . They were prompt on time and started working immediately. They also helped us with dismantle and assembly of bed frames , tread mill and TV . Price is very reasonable and competitive. The property where we moved to is on private road with width restriction which means big vehicles cannot enter. They team were brilliant and made our move stress-free . Thanks Sure removals

This company did my furniture removal on 14th March. On the day they arrived promptly and were very friendly. There were a few items such as sun lounges that I didn’t want and they took them for themselves saving me having to take it to the tip. All my boxes were labeled with the respective room names to make it easier when we got to the new property. Unfortunately I did not number my boxes. When we arrived at the new property, the boxes were all delivered to the lounge so I had to then get them to their respective rooms by myself. It took about a week to get unpacked and life got back to normal. It was then that I noticed a few items missing. Initially I thought that perhaps they’d gone into storage with the Christmas decorations but after checking the storage facility, there were only Christmas decorations in storage. As of now I have at least about £1000 worth of items missing but as time goes by and I look for things, who knows what else is missing. Whilst the guys were very helpful and friendly, make sure you number your boxes so that nothing goes missing.
