No one answered when we tried to set it up!
Tried to set up my mother's alarm and no one answered the call. Doesn't instil confidence. Hope this isn't a sign of the quality of this important service.

Need inprovement on communication and client update forms
Buying was smooth (apart from missing colour information)
Next day delivery plus.
Downside have told response team on box in house is to loud and on go anywhere to quite still waiting for it to be sorted. Also don't adrress by official title.
Also not enough space for medical info on the Microsoft forms when passing info on to emergency service this would be essential.

Excellent Service & Peace of Mind
The whole experience from ordering online through to set-up of the personal alarm was so easy, plus the team at Taking Care were so friendly & helpful during the test of the alarm & clarifying the final steps.
The pendent has brought complete peace of mind to my mother and the wider family. The fact you can talk directly into the pendent and hear those on the other end negates the need to be in the same room as the main unit or within reach of a phone.
The price is superb for the peace of mind it brings & I cannot recommend Taking Care more highly.

Newly on my own I am so glad I chose to have this Person Alarm as it gives a sense of comfort both to me and my family. Not quite 100 % perfect.
I was surprised to see that the first box I received had items in it that had clearly been used. On contacting Taking Care, they said they refurbish and reissue items but this was not mentioned in their adverts. They did send me a new box quickly and gave me instructions on how to send back the first box. The set up was straightforward and my only complaint was how cold the chain is on your neck when you first put it on. I have since bought a cotton lanyard. All is ok and havnt had to use it yet.

Setting up the alarm was quick and painless.
The process to order the personal alarm for my elderly mother was very easy. The alarm arrived promptly-I’d missed the next day delivery as that has to completed before 1pm but it arrived the day after.
Setting up the alarm was very straight forward -the information booklet told me exactly word for word what the central unit would say -so recommend to read that fully first. During the final set up part you get to speak with one of the excellent team who willingly answered all our questions and then we were good to go.
